    Hi, I am new to WCF and trying to create a WCF client. I created a project in VS 2008 and added the reference of WCF web service and it generated the WSDL,configuration.svcinfo and other relevant files. Now i would like to know how to create the client certificates based on these available files? In the .svcinfo file, i see that there are multiple bindings (wsHttpBinding) and multiple endpoints. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Hello, I'm trying to build a .Net application to interrogate Active Directory. From my research, Windows 2008 R2 has Active Directory Web Services (ADWS) built in. I can't find any details or examples anywhere on the web which tell me whether I should be able to use ADWS in a .Net application to read/write AD information.     If I add this to the ASPX page: <input id="Text1" type="text" value="Text1Value" /> I would expect to see "Text1" in the list of Request Form keys even WITHOUT setting the runat=Server property. ? request.Form.AllKeys I realize that if I do set that propery, then I will have a server-sided HTML control that I can reference using the name "Text1," but shouldn't I be able to access the text in the text box using the following VB.NET syntax? request.Form("Text1")

    I am using FogBugz free hosting to manage my project bugs, I also have several customers I create custom software for, been using FogBugz to keep everything organized. Question I have is, there are times where they send me an email with a bug, so I report it in my system and they create it as well, instead of having 2 cases of same bug, would like to merge or link them together, rather not just delete the duplicate. Is there a way to link them together, maybe like a cross reference or even merge them together?

    Hello All, I have a VS2008 ASP.NET Web Service Application running on the local IIS of my XP machine. A separate project in the same solution uses test methods to invoke the WS calls, and run their processes. When I added a web reference to the WS App, VS2008 created a Settings.settings file in the Properties folder to store the address of the web reference. This process also created a new section in the Web.config file called applicationSettings to store the values from Settings.settings When my application attempts to retrieve configuration values from the appSettings section of the Web.config file, via ConfigurationManager.AppSettings[key], all values are null and AppSettings.AllKeys.Length is always zero. I even reverted the Web.config file to before the web reference was added, and made sure it was exactly the same as a system-generated web.config file for a new project that works fine. After comparing the reverted Web.config and a new Web.config, I addded one simple value in the appSettings section, and still no luck with ConfigurationManager.AppSettings[key].   • Finding x,y position of a datagrid / adavancedDataGrid row in Flex

    I have flex advancedDataGrid (could use dataGrid if that works better, though i like my meta-column headers), and i want to have a component popup on top of a selected row. The problem is, i can figure out how to reference an actual rendered row of a datagrid (rather than an item of the dataprovider) in order to get its position on the screen. Does anyone have any theories on how to access a "row" of a datagrid, or at least get its position? Cheers
