  How do I setup my .htaccess file to detect several languages, and redirect them to specific seo-friendly urls? Basically every url needs to go to index.php?lang=(...)   If you have recently installed SOA Suite, created a domain and then tried to start it only to find it fails with the error: Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap Could not create the Java virtual machine. the solution is to edit the file <domain home>\bin\setSOADomainEnv.cmd/sh (depending on your platform) and modify the line: set DEFAULT_MEM_ARGS=-Xms512m -Xmx1024m to something like: set DEFAULT_MEM_ARGS=-Xms512m -Xmx768m Save the file and then try to start your domain again.   Ok so i had Ubuntu installed on dual boot with windows 7, i decided i liked it, btu i did not want the dual boot option so i decided to uninstall it. no whenever i turn on my computer the "error: no such partition" screen shows up and i cant do anything at all. i tried restarting it and booting from a windows recovery disc to fix the mbr but my bios no wont load i cant change the boot order i cant manually boot or anything, it just goes straight to the "error: no such partition" screen. can someone please help me?

After this I even got a kernel update(from 3.13.0-27 to 3.13.0-29 via the Software Updater), but even now the issue persists. How do I solve this issue?

  I am trying to develop an application using the quickly/pygtk stack. I got my Gsettings schemas all set up in ~/app-name-here/data/glib-2.0/schemas/net.launchpad.app-name-here.gschema.xml correctly and I am able to access it just fine in my preferences dialog window that is located in ~/app-name-here/app-name-here/PreferencesDialog.py via from gi.repository import Gtk, Gio settings = Gio.Settings("net.launchpad.app-name-here") settings.get_boolean('notify') settings.set_boolean('notify', True) but when I try to check the value of one of my settings in a file located in ~/app-name-here/bin/Daemon.py that I use as a script to run in the background and send notifications by a similar method of from gi.repository import Gio settings = Gio.Settings("net.launchpad.app-name-here") settings.get_boolean('notify') it fails at the line that says settings = Gio.Settings("net.launchpad.app-name-here") and spits out a nasty error (Daemon.py:26100): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'net.launchpad.app-name-here' is not installed Despite the fact that I can open up dconf-editor and find the settings under net/launchpad/app-name-here. Any thoughts?

  I am currently working with the jQuery validation plugin, and I want to show only one error-message before the form itself. • AJAX Partial Rendering issues for the default page in IIS 7 when using custom http module

  The problem When I try to make a AJAX partial update request (using the UpdatePanel control) from the default page of an IIS7 web site, it fails- instead of returning the html to be updated, it returns the entire page, which then causes the MS AJAX Javascript to throw a parsing shit-fit. The suspected cause I have narrowed the cause down to two issues- making an AJAX request to the default page when I have a certain custom http module registered. A partial rendering request to http://localhost will fail, but a partial rendering request to http://localhost/default.aspx will work fine. Also, If i remove the following line in my custom HttpModule: _application.PreRequestHandlerExecute += OnPreRequestHandlerExecute; The AJAX partial render will work correctly. Wierd huh? Another wierd thing... If I look at trace.axd, I can see that when a partial rendering request fails, two POST requests are logged for the one partial rendering request- one where the default.aspx page executes successfully (trace information such as page_load is logged) but no content is produced and a second that doesn't seem to actually execute (no trace information is logged) but produces content (HTTP_CONTENT_LENGTH is greater than 0). Please help! If anyone with a good knowledge of HTTP modules or the MS AJAX Http module could explain why this is occuring I would be very grateful. As it is, the obvious work arround is to just redirect to default.aspx if the request url is "/" but I would really like to understand why this is occurring.

• Syntax error results in blank page

  I am new to wicket and trying to get some things working. One thing that annoys me a lot is that I get a blank (0 chars of text) page whenever there is a syntax error on a page. Striped down example: Test.html header stuff: doctype ... html ... head ... body ... <span wicket:id="msgTest" id="message">MSG</span> footer stuff: /body ... /html Test.java public class Test extends WebPage { public Test() { add(new Label("msgTest", "Hello, World!")); } } This will output the page as expected. Now, lets introduce an error: header stuff: doctype ... html ... head ... body ... <span wicket:id="msgTest2" id="message">MSG</span> footer stuff: /body ... /html I changed the label-id to something different then what the source-file expects. If I run this code I get the already mentioned blank page. However, for every request to a page with such a syntax error I get an error report in the log-file of around 1000+ lines. This error-report is basically just wicket-generated html of a page which describes the error. This makes me wonder why wicket isn't displaying the error-stuff instead of the blank page. I'm not very experienced with wicket but to me it somehow looks like wicket is having trouble rendering its own error-page code. It would be nice to know how one goes about finding syntax-errors with wicket. Reading through a 1000+ line error-report for a small error like a misplaced character seems a bit tedious. • "mountall: Disconnected from Plymouth" error in VirtualBox

  I installed Ubuntu (from the 11.10 Alternate CD, selecting "command-line only" mode before installing) in Virtualbox (Mac OS X Lion host) like I've done numerous times before. Installation finished without any problems, and I rebooted into my new system. Got the splash screen, it loaded, and right where it should've given me a login prompt, I got (in orange) mountall: Disconnected from Plymouth. I can just hit control + alt (option) + F1 to get the login prompt on tty1, and the system acts normally. This happens on every boot. The disk has two partitions, a 250 MB /boot partition and a 99.75 GB encrypted partition. The encrypted partition has LVM on it. One volume group, 3 volumes (swap, / (root filesystem) , and /home. At first I thought the error was from one of the LVM volumes not mounting, but they are all accessible. It isn't a critical error, but it is annoying. Any ideas?

  I upgraded to 14.04 and now gstreamer is not working. What I am trying to accomplish is to hear the audio input on my computer coming from a ham radio. This is the command that I am using: gst-launch pulserc ! pulseink. This is the error message that I am receiving: ERROR: pipeline could not be constructed: no element "pulserc".   I have installed a multi-site instillation of WordPress onto my domain. I then added the necessary code to the wp-config.php file and .htaccess as instructed by WordPress. I also installed a plugin called Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin which allowed me to place a 301 redirect onto the main domain as I only want to use the sub domain and not the main domain. Then I also added the following line of code to the wp-config.php file to redirect the main domain define( 'NOBLOGREDIRECT', 'URL Redirect Address' ); The site works fine with a redirect on the main domain and my subdomain runs fine when you type in subdomain.domain.com or http://subdomain.domain.com. However when I enter www.subdomain.domain.com or http://www.subdomain.domain.com the following error message is returned: Not Found The requested URL / was not found on this server. Apache/2.4.9 (Unix) Server at www.subdomain.domain.com Port 80 Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Then I booted into Windows 8 and deleted the 20GB partition that I created. • How to get uncaught PHP errors from fcgi server

  My web hosting company recently replaced suPHP with fcgi on my dedicated server because I needed opcode functionality. Since then I see loads of 500 errors in apache error and php error log is empty. I have no way to figure out whats the root cause. One reason I found out was time out so my hosting company changed FcgidConnectTimeout and FcgidIOTimeout to a value of 200. I believe there are no more timeout errors in my php script. My question is how do I capture PHP error before 500 internal server error page display to user?   I have Ubuntu 10 as the guest OS on a Windows 7 machine. I have been trying to setup shares through VirtualBox, but nothing is working. First, I create the share in VirtualBox and point it to a Windows folder. Then I try to mount the drive in Linux, but I keep getting /sbin/mount.vboxsf: mounting failed with the error: Protocol error I have read so many solutions to this, but none seem to work. I have tried: Using the mount.vboxsf syntax Reinstalling VBox additions Rebooting Enabling and trying as root account Any other ideas? In case I am doing something dumb, here are more details: I made a share called "Test" in VBox Shared folders. Then I made a directory in ubuntu named "test2". • Windows Error After Wubi Install

  The initial install on my laptop was Windows 7. I installed Wubi on Sunday - the install seemed fine. I was able to log in and use both Ubuntu and Windows. On Monday I started receiving the following error in Windows: windows cannot access the specified device path or file This occurs on every link I click on - essentially rendering Windows unusable. I do not experience the same problem when Windows is started up in safe mode. I have tried numerous virus scans (Malware bytes, Avg, AdAware) and have removed various trojans etc. Windows is still unusable. Ubuntu seems fine so far. My question is, can this error be attributed to the Wubi install?
