    Hi, I am trying to break away from using tables in my formatting, and am trying out using userlist html tags <ul> Say I have a panel with 10 controls, and I want a 3 columns display, therefore 3 controls in each row, and a total of 4 rows for 10 controls. Should I use 4 different <ul> or should I just stack them inside one <ul> Please tell me the advantages and disadvantages Thanks

  • How to insert Flash without JavaScript in the most compatible but valid way?

    I'm looking for a way to embed Flash into a XHTML Transitional page that does not rely on enabled JavaScript, which validates and that works across all major Browsers including IE6. So far I'm using this solution which seems to work just fine: http://latrine.dgx.cz/how-to-correctly-insert-a-flash-into-xhtml#toc-final-solution However, when this method is used in an RSS Feed it seems that Feedburner and Google Reader at least (maybe other feed readers, too) strip the whole object tags and only leave the alternative content. Any suggestions how to improve this?

    I am attempting to use tiny mce to insert a flash video from youtube. I have the media plugin installed and working from what I can tell but when I view the page http://philadelphia.cities2night.com/articles/show/article/105/arthur-kade-runs-into-stewart-bradley-starting-star-linebacker-for-the-philadelphia-eagles-and-talks-about-fashion-show-he-s-hosting I see the object tags. Is this a issue with the plugin?

    I have just installed paperclip into my ruby on rails blog application. Everything is working great...too great. I am trying to figure out how to tell paperclip not to output anything if there is no record in the table so that I don't have broken image links everywhere. How, and where, do I do this?     I'm coding a WYSIWYG editor width designMode="on" on a iframe. The editor works fine and i store the code as is in the database. Before outputing the html i need to "clean" with php on the server-side to avoid cross-site-scripting and other scary things. Is there some sort of best practice on how to do this? What tags can be dangerous? UPDATE: Typo fixed, it's What You See Is What You Get. Nothing new :)

I've been using a simple html page and running my code in script tags so I can log my results in the browsers' console. When experimenting with loops I sometimes cause the browser to crash.
