  • Exchange 2010 Discovery Search Fails

    When ever I run an Exchange 2010 SP1 Discovery Search I get the following error: "Search failed as the results link to the target mailbox '[email protected]' couldn't be generated." I have checked to ensure the discovery mailbox is enabled I created a new Discovery mailbox. I get the same error with both Mailboxes. The user account I am using to run the search is a member of the "Discovery Management" security group. I get the same error whether I use the Shell or the ECP to run the search

    I would like to create a chart for my source control depicting the trunk and all the branches, with various details, like creation date, merge date, created revision, merge revision, close revision etc. I want it to look like this: I have looked into an appliation called SmartDraw, but unable to the required kind of output from it. It would be awesome if the data can be generated by reading an Excel file input. It would be required that the software runs on Windows XP SP3.

    I have two web servers behind a F5 load balancer. Each web server has identical applications to the other. There was no issue until the config of the load balancer changed from source address persistence to least connections. Now in some applications I receieve this error Server Error in '/' Application. Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: Validation of viewstate MAC failed.   • Printing barcode labels

    I am trying to print barcodes for a library. I have generated a list of sequential numbers and copied them into Word 2003. I want Library name, barcode font, barcode number printed in an Avery 5160 label sheet. I can get it to work by going to tools, letters and mailing, Envelopes and Labels, labels tab and type in what data I want. I don't see how I can pull this data from the list in the word document rather than just what I type.

    I can make a single SSL certificate for several different domain names: www1.example.com www2.example.com www3.example.com But *.example.com doesn't work. How can I make a single SSL certificate for all sub domains within .example.com? P.S. Here is the extension part of the generated certificate: X509v3 extensions: X509v3 Basic Constraints: CA:FALSE X509v3 Key Usage: Digital Signature, Non Repudiation, Key Encipherment X509v3 Subject Alternative Name: DNS:*.example.com It's simply not matched by any sub-domain under example.com by the browser.

How can I get my own identicon? I am looking for an online generator. Gravator does not seem to have any options to generate identicons.   • How do I remove partitions in the 'Places' section of the Gnome file dialog?

    In the Gnome file dialog under 'Places' I can add and edit bookmarks to directories. That list however not only contains my bookmarks, but also a list of all partitions on the system that Gnome seems to gather automatically. I can't edit that list as the right-click-menu items for that are greyed out. How can I get rid of those automatically generated entries or limit it to just my bookmarks?

    We have a Cisco 3000 VPN concentrator and use the Cisco VPN client to generate certificate requests, which we then create/authenticate on our certificate server. When the help desk generates the request, they sometimes email that to me, then I generate the certificate on the server. Does the request need to be encrypted? Until the certificate gets generated is there something in the request itself that would need to remain secret? Thank you.

    We're building a web service that will be deployed on an IIS 7.5 farm, and secured through SSL, and also requiring client certs that will be mapped to Active Directory accounts. My understanding is that the server cert needs to be generated for a specific server. If that is the case then we will need a server cert for each server in the farm. Because the farm will be load balanced, how do we generate client certs that will work with any of the servers in the farm?

    I am running mysqldump on Ubuntu Linux (10.0.4 LTS) my mySQL version info is: mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.41, for debian-linux-gnu (i486) using readline 6.1 I used the following command: mysql -u username -p dbname dbname_backup.sql However when I opened the generated .sql file, I saw that most of the tables had only the schema dumped and in the few cases where the actual data was dumped, only 1 or two records were dumped (there are ATLEAST several tens of records in each table). Does anyone know what maybe going on?

Can anybody suggest how can I either see the end of the subject line and sort by these criteria or preferably move the date and time text from the end to the beginning of the subject line so I can sort by it, perhaps using VB?

    I currently have a debian server that is running an openvpn server. I also have a dns server (bind9) that I would like give allow access to by the connected openvpn clients, but I am unsure as of how to do this, I already known how to send dns options to the clients using push "dhcp-option DNS x.x.x.x" but I am just unsure how give the clients access to the dns server that is located on the same machine as the vpn server, so if anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.     I am trying to use ssh/scp from Windows to Linux without having to enter a password. This is what I have done, and it doesn't seem to work: generated public and private keys using Putty Key Generator (on Windows) saved the files as id_rsa.pub and id_rsa copied them into ~/.ssh added id_rsa.pub to the Linux box in ~/.ssh/authorized_keys I then try to ssh to the Linux box from Windows and I still have to enter a password Am I missing something?

    Does the entropy pool /dev/random used the same to /dev/urandom? I want to mknod /dev/random 1 9 to replace the slow random, I think the current entropy is randomly enough, if urandom is based on the same entropy, and all succeed random numbers are generated based on that entropy, I don't think there'll be any vulnerable.

  • Thin configuration doesn't start on boot, but they do on manual start [migrated]

    I have some thin config files (generated with sudo thin install) which are slightly modified (only paths where they're located). I can start them just fine with /etc/init.d/thin start, but if the server is restarted, they're not auto started. I issued the update-rc.d thin defaults command to make it run on startup, but no luck yet. This server is running Ubuntu 12.04.1 32-bit, Ruby 1.9.3p194, MongoDB 2.2.0.

  • Automatic installation of Adobe Framemaker 12

    With Adobe Framemaker XI, We could use Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition v3.1 to embed the serial number and pre-validate the sign-in option. An MSI was generated, and then an automatic installation could be performed, for enterprise deployments for example. It seems Adobe Application manager v3.1 is not working with Adobe Framemaker 12. Is there any way to create a customized installation package, or any command line to use? Thanks in advance YannD.
