    I'm using the Zend Router and so things like (/ and /index.php) or (/about and /index.php/about) ends up as the same here. However, /index.php/whatever should not exist as it is the exactly same resource as /whatever so it doesn't make a sense the duplication. How do I avoid this? Even http://zendframework.com/manual/en/zend.controller.router.html and http://zendframework.com/index.php/manual/en/zend.controller.router.html both exists. It doesn't make any sense at all...

I discovered the following resource on maxmind: http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/api/php/timezone/ I suspect that I could use this with another api that provides the state that an area code belongs to.   • problem downloading movie to iphone for storage and playback

    I am basically making a video library where you download videos and I then write them to the applications documents folder. This all works fine and if i stream the video from online it plays fine. Or indeed I can stream it from the resource folder fine. However, after downloading it and saving to the documents folder then attempting to stream I get the error 'movie format not supported' any ideas? thanks very much

    I am creating a multilingual site that will need to support at minimum five different languages, including Korean and Chinese. The site language is ColdFusion, so Java is the native language. I want to make the site as easy as possible for the next programmer to update, and for third-party translators to use tools that will work easier for them than digging through a SQL database.     Is there a way to use jQuery (or generic javascript) to disable CSS inheritance on a block level? For example, if I am pulling in an external resource via javascript, say pastie.org, they will have their own CSS that my CSS overrides. I would like to place the embed code into its own container that has CSS inheritance disabled. This is not my own CSS structure, so I can't rename IDs Classes or inline anything to make it work, the holy grail of inheritance blocking is my last resort.

  • Resources.resx in c# projects

    I have a problem using a Resources.resx - Resources.de.resx - combination in a C#/WPF project. The whole solutions contains several projects and some projects contains resource files. When starting the main project I can switch the language successfully from english to german. But the GUI elements from the sub projects still show the english text.   • Function that converts hex color values to an approximate color name?

    I don't suppose anyone knows of a function (PHP, preferably) that can take a hex color code and give an approximate color name for that hex value. I don't need a solution with 100s of colors. Even if it just amounted to the colors white, black, red, green blue, brown orange and yellow, I'd be pretty well in shape.
