  • Using regexkitlite with strings containing % signs

    - by David Liu
So I'm using RegexKitLite in my iPhone app, and I'm basically grabbing out a bunch of URLs and names from within a web page. The problem is that whenever it comes across a URL with URL encoded characters like %22 for a double quote or %27 for a single quote, the captured string basically gives me a jumbled overflowed string, containing garbage and even method names. I'm really not doing anything particularly special within the regex, just your basic "startdelimiter(.*)enddelimiter" regex.

  • Java REPL onsole

    - by Don
Hi, I'm looking for a console that I can use to test out snippets of Java code. Either a desktop app, or a web app (like the Groovy web console). Ideally, the console should automatically import commonly used package like java.io.* java.util.* So that I can copy and paste code from a class without having to add a bunch of imports. Does such a thing exist? Thanks, Donal

  • prevent UIWebView inputs from displaying UIKeyboard without disabling user interaction

    - by Slee
I have a UIWebView that loads and external product configuration web service UI that is basically a bunch of dependent Drop Down lists. The problem is the Drop Downs are basically enhanced text input's so when the user taps them to display the options the UIKeyboard keeps popping up and own after they make their selection. it is less than a fluid process. Is there anyway to suppress the html inputs from triggering the UIKeyboard?

  • Resharper function to fix naming convention issues

    - by Jan Jongboom
A bunch of classes doesn't comply to our naming conventions for private variables. Resharper shows this as a warning, but wants me to fix all of them by hand. Is there some magic option to auto-fix these issues? 'Clean-up code' won't do anything with this. Same goes for converting properties with backing fields to automatic properties when possible: the hint is shown, but Resharper won't fix it automatically.

  • Could this code damage my processor??!!

    - by Osama Gamal
A friend sent me that code and alleges that it could damage the processor. Is that true? void damage_processor() { while (true) { // Assembly code that sets the five control registers bits to ones which causes a bunch of exceptions in the system and then damages the processor Asm( "mov cr0, 0xffffffff \n\t" "mov cr1, 0xffffffff \n\t" "mov cr2, 0xffffffff \n\t" "mov cr3, 0xffffffff \n\t" "mov cr4, 0xffffffff \n\t" ) } } Is that true?

  • Re-using Buttons in WPF

    - by Alex Marshall
I have a bunch of different objects that are commonly edited in the same TabControl using different DataTemplates, but I want each DataTemplate to have a common look and feel with Ok and Cancel buttons at the bottom right of each tab that will close the tab or save the content and then close the currently selected tab. What's the best way to place buttons on each tab ? Is there a way to do it without copying and pasting the buttons and stack panel across all of my data templates ?

  • lastIndexOf in obj-c?

    - by Debashis
How would I get the last occurrence of an NSString within another NSString? For example, in "abc def ghi abc def ghi," I want to find the index of the second "abc," not the first. I know I could do this with a bunch of rangeOfStrings, but is there already a function for that?

  • Change color of disabled radiobutton list element

    - by Dave
I've got a radiobuttonlist with a bunch of list items, some of them disabled. The label control beside the radio button turns gray, which can be hard to read. How do I change the color of the label? I've tried CSS, changing the forecolor - nothing seems to work: currentButton.Attributes.Add("class", "disabled"); Any ideas?

  • MySql BulkCopy/Insert from DataReader

    - by Sky Sanders
I am loading a bunch of rows into MySql in C#. In MS Sql I can feed a DataReader to SqlBulkCopy, but the MySqlBulkCopy only presents itself as a bootstrap for a load from file. So, my current solution is using a prepared command in a transacted loop. Is there a faster way to accomplish bulk loading of MySql using a DataReader source?

  • What are some funny error pages websites have?

    - by Dean
This question is along the same lines as What are some funny loading statements to keep my users amused, I want screenshots of all the coolest "error" pages site's throw up when something's broken. I know pandora.com talks about a panda ravaging it's way through the office, twitter's has the little birds floating around or something, sourceforge had one with some funny robots the other day. I'm sure I saw a blog once that had a bunch of them, but it's kinda hard to google "error pages". Community Wiki, of course :)

  • Selenium Testing

    - by Joakim
Hi I want to get a bunch of dom-objects with xpath and loop through those to check if they contains a specified text, is this possible in the Selenium IDE or rc? Perl is my prefered language XPath would be something like xpath=//tbody[@class='table-data']/tr/td/div[@class='table-item'] This would return all row items in the table, but i need to check each div if contains a specified text string. Is this possible with Selenium? Best regards

  • jQuery LazyLoad images in a hidden div

    - by xyzzy
I have a bunch of images that are in a hidden div. The div is shown when the user clicks on some links. I'd like to jQuery lazyload to hide these images until the link is clicked and the hidden div is exposed. But, if I use lazyload according to the documentation, the images are always loaded as the hidden div is in the viewport, presumably. any ideas?

  • Lightweight JMS broker

    - by nixau
Hi, I'm looking for a small and yet efficient enough lightweight JMS broker solution with no or minimum of dependencies. My messaging code should be running in the environment with a lot of dependencies I have no control of. Thus it would make ridiculous to deploy say ActiveMQ solution along with my custom bunch of classes. Thanks for your time.

  • Convert UIViews made programmatically to UIScrollViews

    - by Scott
So I have a bunch of UIViews that I made programmatically and placed a bunch of content on (UIButtons, UILabels, UINavigationBars, etc.), and most of these views are going to need to actually be UIScrollViews instead. Now keep in mind I made all these through code not the Interface Builder. What I first tried was to just change each declaration of a UIView to a UIScrollView instead, and that compiled and ran fine, however, they were not scrollable. It's REALLY weird. Here is the code that I change into UIScrollViews, although it doesn't scroll: - (void)loadView { //allocate the view self.view = [[UIScrollView alloc] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] applicationFrame]]; //self.view = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] applicationFrame]]; //set the view's background color self.view.backgroundColor = [[UIColor alloc] initWithPatternImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"MainBG.jpg"]]; [self.view addSubview:[SiteOneController myNavBar1:@"Sites"]]; NSMutableArray *sites = [[NSMutableArray alloc] init]; NSString *one = @"Constution Center"; NSString *two = @"Franklin Court"; NSString *three = @"Presidents House"; [sites addObject: one]; [one release]; [sites addObject: two]; [two release]; [sites addObject: three]; [three release]; NSString *element; int j = 0; for (element in sites) { UIButton *button = [UIButton buttonWithType:UIButtonTypeCustom]; UIFont *myBoldFont = [UIFont boldSystemFontOfSize:20.0]; UILabel *label = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(20, b + (j*45), c, d)]; [label setBackgroundColor:[UIColor clearColor]]; label.text = element; label.font = myBoldFont; UIImage *img = [UIImage imageNamed:@"ButtonBase.png"]; [button setImage:img forState:UIControlStateNormal]; //setframe (where on screen) //separation is 15px past the width (45-30) button.frame = CGRectMake(a, b + (j*45), c, d); // [button setTitle:element forState:UIControlStateNormal]; button.backgroundColor = [SiteOneController myColor1]; [button addTarget:self action:@selector(showCCView:) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside]; [button setTag:j]; [self.view addSubview: button]; [self.view addSubview:label]; j++; } } What am I doing wrong?

  • Python 3.1.1 string to hex

    - by Stuart
I am trying to use str.encode() but I get >>> "hello".encode(hex) Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> TypeError: must be string, not builtin_function_or_method I have tried a bunch of variations and they seem to all work in Python 2.5.2, so what do I need to do to get them to work in Python 3.1?
