  • DataGridView: Scroll bar does not refreshed

    I am working (fixing bugs) on a project which was written in VS 2005. There is one DataGridView control on a form. When it is first time loaded, the control's data grid is populated with rows of data from a collection manually or in codes. Actually, there is method PopulateDataGrid() do the job. There is also another control on the form. When control is changed, the data grid will be cleared first and then rows are repopulated again through PopulateDataGrid(). The problem is that when the grid is refreshed, the vertical scroll bar does not get reset correctly. I thought it should be. Since the scroll bar is not reset, when I tried to click on grid and move down, I got exception: the max value of scroll bar was exceeded. All the settings for grid control are default values. For example, the ScrollBars is Both. The following is the only related place to set row auto size property: poDataGridView.AutoSizeRowsMode = DataGridViewAutoSizeRowsMode.DisplayedCellsExceptHeaders; I am not sure if there is any property I have to set in designer?

    I have the following HTML, and I need to add a class to both <li> and <a> where the text 'Charts' exists (so not the second line, but rather the 4th and 5th). I cannot change the output of the HTML. <div class="wp-submenu-wrap"> <div class="wp-submenu-head">Charts</div> <ul> <li class="wp-first-item"> <a class="wp-first-item" tabindex="1" href="admin.php?page=charts">Charts</a> </li> <li> <a tabindex="1" href="admin.php?page=add-chart">Add Chart</a> </li> </ul> </div> I've tried doing this by locating the <a> tag that contains the text, but it is not working.   • Does OpenGL stencil test happen before or after fragment program runs?

    When I set glStencilFunc( GL_NEVER, . . . ) effectively disabling all drawing, and then run my [shader-bound] program I get no performance increase over letting the fragment shader run. I thought the stencil test happened before the fragment program. Is that not the case, or at least not guaranteed? Replacing the fragment shader with one that simply writes a constant to gl_FragColor does result in a higher FPS.

  • imagecopyresampled to resize and crop an image - not returning the expected result

    imagecopyresized ( resource $dst_image , resource $src_image , int $dst_x , int $dst_y , int $src_x , int $src_y , int $dst_w , int $dst_h , int $src_w , int $src_h ) This is what I want to do: I have an image that's 600x1000px in size, and I want to create a thumb that's 100x100px after resizing that image to 300x500px, the x coordinate for the top left point of the thumb square should be at 100(src x) and 120(src y). According to what I understand from the manual, the command should be $dst_image = imagecreatetruecolor(100,100); $src_image = imagecreatefromjpeg('/home/sandbox/imagetoresize.jpg'); imagecopyresized ($dst_image, $src_image, 0, 0, 100, 120, **300 , 500 , 600 , 1000** ) It is cropping the image just fine, but it isn't resizing it correctly. I never got it to match what I see in my image editor (the GIMP). What am I doing wrong? I confirmed that all the numbers are correct, but it's always shifted up or down no matter what I do. Your help would really be appreciated!

    I have a class constructor that expects a reference to another class object to be passed in as an argument. I understand that references are preferable to pointers when no pointer arithmetic will be performed or when a null value will not exist. This is the header declaration of the constructor: class MixerLine { private: MIXERLINE _mixerLine; public: MixerLine(const MixerDevice& const parentMixer, DWORD destinationIndex); ~MixerLine(); } This is the code that calls the constructor (MixerDevice.cpp): void MixerDevice::enumerateLines() { DWORD numLines = getDestinationCount(); for(DWORD i=0;i<numLines;i++) { MixerLine mixerLine( this, i ); // other code here removed } } Compilation of MixerDevice.cpp fails with this error: Error 3 error C2664: 'MixerLine::MixerLine(const MixerDevice &,DWORD)' : cannot convert parameter 1 from 'MixerDevice *const ' to 'const MixerDevice &' But I thought pointer values could be assigned to pointers, e.g. Foo* foo = new Foo(); Foo& bar = foo;

  • How to manually set an authenticated user in Spring Security / SpringMVC

    After a new user submits a 'New account' form, I want to manually log that user in so they don't have to login on the subsequent page. The normal form login page going through the spring security interceptor works just fine. In the new-account-form controller I am creating a UsernamePasswordAuthenticationToken and setting it in the SecurityContext manually: SecurityContextHolder.getContext().setAuthentication(authentication); On that same page I later check that the user is logged in with: SecurityContextHolder.getContext().getAuthentication().getAuthorities(); This returns the authorities I set earlier in the authentication. All is well. But when this same code is called on the very next page I load, the authentication token is just UserAnonymous. I'm not clear why it did not keep the authentication I set on the previous request. Any thoughts? Could it have to do with session ID's not being set up correctly? Is there something that is possibly overwriting my authentication somehow? Perhaps I just need another step to save the authentication? Or is there something I need to do to declare the authentication across the whole session rather than a single request somehow? Just looking for some thoughts that might help me see what's happening here.

  • Proper status codes for JSON responses to Ajax calls?

    My project is returning JSON to Ajax calls from the browser. I'm wondering what the proper status code is for sending back with responses to invalid (but successfully handled) data submissions. For example, jQuery has the following two particular callbacks when making Ajax requests: success: Fired when a 200/2xx status code is delivered along with the response. error: Fired when 4xx, 5xx, etc, status codes come back with the response. If a user attempts to create a new "Person" object, I send back a JSON representation of the newly created object upon success, thus giving javascript access to the necessary unique ID's for the new object, etc. This, of course, is sent with a 200 status code. If a user submits malformed or invalid data (say, an invalid/incomplete "name" field), I would like to send back the validation error messages via JSON. (I don't see why this would be a bad thing). My question is: in doing so, should I send a 200 status code, because I successfully handled their invalid data? Therefore, I'd be using the jQuery success callback, but simply check for errors... Or, should I use a 4xx status code, perhaps 'Bad Request', because the data they sent me is invalid? (and thus, use the error callback to do the necessary client-side notifications).

    Hi, I'm using Luntbuild with Subversion and would like to have our svn tagging environment specific (dev, testing, etc.) and I'm wondering if there's a way to use a variable in the VCS Adapters section. I'm looking for something like this: Directory for tags: tags/Builds/${env}/Service Where ${env} is a variable I can set in the Luntbuild builders section or elsewhere. Does anyone know if what I'm wanting is possible? Thanks.

    I've got a business class, Spam and the corresponding view class, SpamView. How can I augment MouseEvents coming out of SpamView so the MouseEvents which come out of it contain a reference to the instance of Spam which the SpamView is displaying? Here's how I'd like to use it: class ViewContainer { ... for each (spam in spams) { addChild(new SpamView(spam)); ... function handleMouseMove(event:MouseEvent) { if (event is SpamViewMouseEvent) trace("The mouse is being moved over spam:", spam) } } Thanks! Things I've considered which don't work: Adding event listeners to each SpamView: the book keeping (making sure that they are added/removed properly) is a pain. Using event.target: the event's target may be a child of the SpamView (which isn't very useful) Listening for a MouseEvent, creating a new SpamViewMouseEvent, copying all the fields over, then dispatching that: copying all the fields manually is also a pain.

  • User input in Perl with IO::Socket

    I am trying to make a perl program which allows a user to input the host and the port number of a foreign host to connect to using IO::Socket. It allows me to run the program and input a host and a port but it never connects and says "Could not connect to [host] at c:\users\USER\Documents\code\perl\sql.pl line 18, line 2." What am i doing wrong with this code shown below? And also, how can i have input validation on my host, which can either be a host name or an ip address? Thanks a bunch!     In web.xml I have this <session-config> <session-timeout>2</session-timeout> </session-config> <listener> <listener-class>myapplication.SessionListener</listener-class> In the SessionListener.java I have public void sessionDestroyed (HttpSessionEvent event){ System.out.println("Visitor Removed!!"); } But it seems System.out.println("Visitor Removed!!") has never been executed.     Hi, Given the line: Bitmap bitmap = new Bitmap(stream); where stream is a System.IO.Stream, are there any limitations on the image file type e.g png, jpg, gif etc that can be handled. i.e are all image file/stream header info clear enough to say "I am an image".   • Installed Android on Mac, cannot find SDK

    Using Mac OS X 10.6.2, Eclipse SDK 3.5.2. I installed the Android plugin, following the instructions at: http://developer.android.com/sdk/eclipse-adt.html In the next section (step #3) it says: For the SDK Location in the main panel, click Browse... and locate your downloaded SDK directory. I cannot find such a directory. When I try some other directory, it says the directory has no 'tools' folder, so I've searched for a 'tools' folder, but none of those found (of 15 or 20) appear to be Android.   • Getting true video Height/Width from ASF videos

    I am trying to convert an ASF video with FFMPEG using an interface called mediahandler. The issue is, the metadata on the ASF video appears to be corrupt. It states that the video is 640x240, and 4:3 aspect ratio. The aspect ratio is correct, but obviously the resolution is not. This causes the converter to incorrectly scale the video, because it uses the resolution to determine the original aspect ratio. I am able to get the aspect ratio metadata, but I'm not sure this solves the issue, because I would think that if the resolution could be incorrect, then so could the aspect ratio metadata. So, is there any way to get the actual height/width? It appears that players like VLC have no issue with this. How do I do such a thing w/ FFMPEG?

Now I know a language is regular iff it is accepted by a finite automaton. And I know a language is context-free iff it is accepted by a pushdown automaton. But I'm not sure of what solution is.
