  I am testing a highly-customized web application in Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8, since it is an up and coming release, and will likely be using my application some day. Take a look at this sample screenshot of some text input controls from the application: Is there a way, either within HTML or CSS, to remove the action icons that are located to the right of the text and password input controls, or is the an OS-specific feature that cannot be disabled? • windows server 2008 instance on KVM stuck in 'Pause' mode

  I have a windows Server 2008 instance as a guest on KVM. When I tried to run it via virtual machine manager, the process got frozen after few seconds and trying to resume the process lead to this error from virt-manager: Error unpausing domain: internal error unable to execute QEMU command 'cont': Resetting the Virtual Machine is required I tried to Reboot it without any success.   In using i see 2 types of code #!/usr/bin/sh and #!/user/bin/bash I have Googled this and the opinions vary a lot. The explanation I have seen on most websites is that sh is older than bash, and that there is no real difference. Does someone know the difference between these and can give a practical example when to use either one of them. • Can I get a more portable receiver for my Logitech wireless mouse?

  Hi there, I have a Logitech Trackman mouse, which I love and would like to take with me on my travels. However, the receiver for this thing is highly unportable (for use on a train, for example). I know you can get tiny wireless receivers like on this mouse. Is there any way to use a smaller third party receiver with my Logitech mouse, or does anyone know of a Logitech accessory or something like that which I could use? Thanks!

  Does anyone have some comparison data in terms of performance for using in front of Tomcat either Varnish or Apache with mod_jk. I know that AJP connector suppose to be faster than HTTP, but I was thinking that in combination Varnish which is lighter and highly optimized could perform better. There is also the discussion between static resources (which I think will perform faster with Varnish than Apache, even with mod_cache) and dynamic pages.

Are there motherboards that have been shown to support ECC RAM (and which particular models?) and also USB 3.0? I've read that there are such chipsets with ECC support, but motherboard manufacturers won't guarantee they work, or won't even offer the required BIOS options.

Since I often use it with running GPU codes, sometimes the performances highly decrease as I test it with "glxgears" tool (I get only 20 FPS in fullscreen). So I would like to be able to reinitialize the GPU without reboot the system. I know the "clinfo" tool which display the features of the graphics card.   The title says it all. Is there a way to make the loginwindow process start a user session by running a command when remotely logged in via SSH as an admin on Mac OS X? When the machine is at the login window (no user is currently logged in), I want it to open up a user's session as if I had clicked on the username and entered a password. Solutions that don't involve scripting the GUI are highly preferred, but this Apple KB page may be of interest for those who go that route.

  I have recently been finding myself stymied trying to perform searches for c#-related things in Chrome. The problem is that the omnibox truncates the # and everything after it. This means typing c# foo" in the omnibox in Chrome and hitting enter returns highly unhelpful search results for "c" Google. Any tricks or extensions that would allow me to type "c# foo" into the omnibox and return results that are related to c# and foo? Am I the only person with this problem?

I already know the Save to PDF command and that you can create simple aliases in the "PDF Services" folder, but I need something automated for this task.
