• "Use windows xp style dpi scaling" disables automatic auto-hide of taskbar on W7. Workaround?

  We noticed that on W7 with DPI set to 125% or to 100% with ("Use windows xp style dpi scaling") turned off, our fullscreen mode (which sets the client rect of our window = desktop rect of the main monitor) no longer hides the task bar like it does for other settings. (The setting can be found in the Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display section after clicking on the "Set custom text size (DPI)" link) I found the following interesting article: http://www.mathies.com/weblog/?p=908 So I set out to try to work around the bug in other means than manually hiding/restoring the taskbar visibility but so far I've failed and currently believe it's a bug in W7 (and possibly vista). The following applications also fail to work properly in fullscreen mode (the taskbar is still visible): * Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 * Microsoft Word 2007 * Adobe Reader 9.1.3 These apps work (probably by hiding the task bar through the WIN32 API): * Powerpoint Slide Show I also tried creating a brand new MFC-based app and use its "SetFullScreenMode()" functionality but it fails in the same way as all other apps on the list. • .Net - interop assemblies taking 15 seconds to load when being referenced in a function

  This is a C# console application. I have a function that does something like this: static void foo() { Application powerpointApp; Presentation presentation = null; powerpointApp = new Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint.ApplicationClass(); } That's all it does. When it is called there is a fifteen second delay before the function gets hit. I added something like this: static void MyAssemblyLoadEventHandler(object sender, AssemblyLoadEventArgs args) { Console.WriteLine(DateTime.Now.ToString() + " ASSEMBLY LOADED: " + args.LoadedAssembly.FullName); Console.WriteLine(); } This gets fired telling me that my interop assemblies have been loaded about 10 milliseconds before my foo function gets hit. What can I do about this? The program needs to call this function (and eventually do something else) once and then exit so I need for these assemblies to be cached or something. Ideas?

• Using UIImageViews for 'pages' in an iPhone/iPad storybook app?

  I'm new to iPhone programming, and well, what seems obvious to me may seem silly to a seasoned coder. I did a few 'switching views' tutorials on Youtube, and basically, they seems to work nicely for adding pages to a storybook type app. You add a UIViewController and associated view for each page. My question is would this become insanely slow, or a memory hog if I continued this method for say....35+ pages? Each page would also have a sound file associated with it that would play narration when a page load and stops when we leave. Basically, think of a powerpoint type app, with sound, possibly animated image elements, next & back buttons. I'm probably thinking of this very simplistically, but that's where my experience is at for the moment. Any insight or tips as to better and or more efficient ways to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

• How to get my checking MIME type script to work? (PHP)

  For this script, it checks to see if the file is a microsoft words doc or ppt. I am not sure why this isn't running because it works for image MIME and text/plain. I am using PHP 5.3.1 so it should have all the MIME types installed already right? • [MINI HOW-TO] Change the Default Color Scheme in Office 2010

  Like in Office 2007 the default color scheme for 2010 is blue. If you are not a fan of it, here we show you how to change it to silver or black. In this example we are using Microsoft Word, but it works the same way in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint as well. Once you change the color scheme in one Office application, it will change it for all of the other apps in the suite. Change Color Scheme To change the color scheme click on the File tab to access Backstage View and click on Options. In Word Options the General section should open by default…use the dropdown menu next to Color Scheme to change it to Silver, Blue, or Black then click OK. Here is what Black looks like…who knows why Microsoft decided to leave the blue around the edges. This is the default Blue color scheme… And finally we take a look at the Silver color scheme in Excel… That is all there is to it! It would be nice if they would incorporate other color schemes to Office 2010, as some of you may not be happy with only three choices. • How To Remove Hyperlinks from Microsoft Word Documents

  Sometimes when you copy text from a webpage and paste it into Word, it can be annoying when the hyperlinks transfer with it. Today we take a look at how to easily remove the hyperlinks if you don’t want them in the document. Here we will cover a few different ways you can remove hyperlinks from emails or webpage data that you enter into a Word document using Paste Special and Keyboard Shortcuts. Remove Hyperlinks in Word Using Paste Special In Word 2010 we copied part of an article from How-To Geek, as you can see the hyperlinks were copied into the document as well. To remove the hyperlinks right-click on the document and you’ll see three icons under Paste Options. We want to select the third one to the right which is Keep Text Only…the text in in the document changes so you can get a preview of how it will look. After selecting Keep Text Only, you can see the hyperlinks have been removed. However, you’ll need to change the fonts and other layouts if you’re not happy with the default of Calibri. In Office 2007 under the Home tab click the dropdown menu under Paste and select Paste Special. In the Paste Special screen select Unformatted Text then click OK. In Office 2003 copy the text into the document, hover your mouse over the clipboard, click the dropdown menu, then select Keep Text Only. Keyboard Ninja Style If you’re a Keyboard Ninja, an easy way to remove all hyperlinks is to use “Ctrl+A” to select everything, then use the key combination “Ctrl+Shift+F9”…We tested this key combination and it works in Word 2003-2010. This will remove all of the hyperlinks and keep the original format of the text. Conclusion There are several different ways to get rid of hyperlinks in text pasted into Word documents. The method you use will depend on your preference and the version of Word you’re using…but the “Ctrl+Shift+F9” keyboard shortcut works in all versions of Word and might be the easiest way. If you always want just text in Word 2007, you can disable automatically disable them. • My VS 2010 and ASP.NET 4 Talks Online

  The past 7 years I’ve done an annual all day event in Arizona – organized by the most excellent Scott Cate (who always does a phenomenal job organizing the event and making it a great one). Earlier this month I visited and presented 4+ hours of content covering VS 2010, ASP.NET 4 and ASP.NET MVC 2.  NextSlide.com – a great .NET shop local to Arizona who has a great product for sharing presentations – volunteered to record the talks and publish them for free using their online presentation tool.  The recordings they did turned out really, really great – and their online player (which combines slides + camera of me + demos in one experience) is awesome.  Below you can watch the first two segments of my event – which cover VS 2010 and ASP.NET 4 – for free online using the NextSlide.com player experience.  I’ll post a link to my ASP.NET MVC 2 segment a little later in a separate blog post.  If you’ve never seen my present these talks before and are interested in the content then I’d recommend checking them out – as these recordings do a really good job capturing them. • TechEd 2012: Day 3 &ndash; Morning TFS

  My morning sessions for day three were dominated by Team Foundation Server.  This has been a hot topic for our clients lately, so this topic really stuck a chord. The speaker for the first session was from Boeing.  It was nice to hear how how a company mixes both agile and waterfall project management.   The approaches that he presented were very pragmatic.  For their needs reporting is the crucial part of their decision to use TFS.  This was interesting since this is probably the last aspect that most shops would think about. The challenge of getting users to adopt TFS was brought up by the audience.  As with the other discussion point he took a very level headed stance.  The approach he was prescribing was to eat the elephant a bite at a time instead of all at once.  If you try to convert you entire shop at once the culture shock will most likely kill the effort. Another key point he reminded us of is that you need to make sure that standards and compliance are taken into account when you setup TFS.  If you don’t implement a tool and processes around it that comply with the standards bodies that govern your business you are in for a world of hurt. Ultimately the reason they chose TFS was because it was the first tool that incorporated all the ALM features that they needed. Reduced licensing cost because of all the different tools they would need to buy to complete the same tasks.  They got to this point by doing an industry evaluation.  Although TFS came out on top he said that it still has a big gap is in the Java area.  Of course in this market there are vendors helping to close that gap. The second session was on how continuous feedback in agile is a new focus in VS2012.  The problems they intended to address included cycle time and average time to repair, root cause analysis. The speakers fired features at us as if they were firing a machine gun.  I will just say that I am looking forward to digging into the product after seeing this presentation.  Beyond that I will simply list some of the key features that caught my attention. • Chargeback and showback...both a 'throw back'

  Been getting asked again by customers and partners about chargeback and showback in the cloud so thought I would blog on my response to this question. Charge Back background, information and industry analysis: Cloud computing is all about shared resources. These shared resources are computer servers (including memory and CPU), network devices, hard disk storage, database servers, application servers, cooling, floor space, electricity and more. These resources are shared by departments within a company, or by a number of companies, when resources are hosted in the public or hybrid cloud. Currently, hosting providers that run other companies on their cloud platforms do not have an accurate way to measure the shared computing resources used by a specific user let alone used by a specific customer. Additionally, companies running their own cloud data centers, for private or hybrid clouds, have no way of measure and charging back the departments in the company that are using these shared cloud resources. In both cases, the lack of determine shared resource costs and to charge them back to the company, department or user that is using this resources is limited a clear measure of business benefit and impacting company’s ability to measure the Return on Investment (ROI). An IT chargeback system is an accounting strategy that applies the costs of IT services, hardware or software to the business unit in which they are used. This system contrasts with traditional IT accounting models in which a centralized department bears all of the IT costs in an organization and those costs are treated simply as corporate overhead. Showback involves showing the IT costs to a department or customer but not actually charging them for their IT usage. Showback is a gradual method of introducing chargeback into an enterprise. Most companies implement a show back mechanism before a full chargeback system is put in place. Oracle chargeback product: Oracle Enterprise Manager provides tools for defining detailed Chargeback plans spanning different metrics collected for each type of resources as well as defining Cost Centers for grouping costs across multiple developers. Chargeback plans can use not only usage based costs, but also configuration based costs (e.g. version of the platform) or fixed costs (e.g. flat-rate management fee). Chargeback has rich out of the box reports. Trending reports show how charge and resource consumption varies over time, while Summary reports show the breakdown of charges or usage by different dimensions such as Cost Center or Target Type. These reports help consumers in understanding how their charges relate to their consumption and also assist the IT department with budgeting and planning activities. With BI Publisher, the reports can be made available in a variety of formats such as PDF, HTML, Word, Excel or PowerPoint.

• SharePoint 2010 Hosting :: How to Enable Office Web Apps on SharePoint 2010

  Office Web App is the online version of Microsoft Office 2010 which is very helpful if you are going to use SharePoint 2010 in your organization as it allows you to do basic editing of word document without installing the Office Suite in the client machine. Prerequisites : - Microsoft Server 2008 R2 - Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 or Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 - Microsoft Office Web Apps. If you have installed all the above products, just follow this steps: 1. Go to Central Administration > Click on Manage Service Application. 2. All the menus are not displayed in ribbon Menu format which was first introduced in Office 2007. Click on New > Word Viewing Services ( You can choose PowerPoint or Excel also, steps are same ). This will open a pop window. Adding Services for Office Web Apps 3. Give a Proper Name which can have your companies or project name. 4. Under Application Pool select : SharePoint Web Services Default. 5. Next keep the check box checked which says : Add this service application’s proxy to the farm’s default proxy list. Click Ok Adding Word Viewer as Service Application Office Web Apps as Services in Sharepoint 2010 6. This will install all the Office Web App services required. You can see the name as you gave in the above step. How to Activate Office Web Apps in Site Collection? 1. Go to the site for which you want to activate this feature. 2. Click on Site Action > Site Settings > Site Collection Administrator > Site Collection Features 3. Activate Office Web Apps. Activate Office Web Apps Feature in Site Collection How to make sure Office Web Apps is working for your site collection? 1. Locate any office document you have and click on the smart menu which appears when you hover your mouse on it. Dont double-click as this will launch the document in Office Client if its installed. This feature can be changed. 2. If you see View or Edit in Browser as menu item, your Office Web Apps is configured correctly. • Emaroo 1.4.0 Released

  Emaroo is a free utility for browsing most recently used (MRU) lists of various applications. Quickly open files, jump to their folder in Windows Explorer, copy their path - all with just a few keystrokes or mouse clicks. tl;dr: Emaroo 1.4.0 is out, go download it on www.roland-weigelt.de/emaroo   Why Emaroo? Let me give you a few examples. Let’s assume you have pinned Emaroo to the first spot on the task bar so you can start it by hitting Win+1. To start one of the most recently used Visual Studio solutions you type Win+1, [maybe arrow key down a few times], Enter This means that you can start the most recent solution simply by Win+1, Enter What else? If you want to open an Explorer window at the file location of the solution, you type Ctrl+E instead of Enter.   If you know that the solution contains “foo” in its name, you can type “foo” to filter the list. Because this is not a general purpose search like e.g. the Search charm, but instead operates only on the MRU list of a single application, you usually have to type only a few characters until you can press Enter or Ctrl+E.   Ctrl+C copies the file path of the selected MRU item, Ctrl+Shift+C copies the directory If you have several versions of Visual Studio installed, the context menu lets you open a solution in a higher version.   Using the context menu, you can open a Visual Studio solution in Blend. So far I have only mentioned Visual Studio, but Emaroo knows about other applications, too. It remembers the last application you used, you can change between applications with the left/right arrow or accelerator keys. Press F1 or click the Emaroo icon (the tab to the right) for a quick reference. Which applications does Emaroo know about? • One Year Oracle SocialChat - The Movie

  Tweet | Like | Watch on Vimeo You’ve just watched – hopefully – my first short movie. Thank you! Here is a bit of the back stage story. About 6 weeks ago colleagues from SNBC (Social Network and Business Collaboration) announced a Social Use Case Competition. It was expected to submit a video of 2 to 5 minutes duration on the Social Enterprise (our internal phrase for Enterprise 2.0). Hmm – I had a few vague ideas, but no script – no actors – no experience in film making. Really the best conditions to try something! I chose our weekly SocialChats as my main topic. But if you don’t do Danish Dogma cinema, you still need a script. Hence I played around with the SocialChat’s archive, and all of a sudden a script and even the actors appeared in front of me. The words that you have just seen are weekly topics. Slightly abridged and rearranged to form a story. Exciting, next phase. How to get it on digital celluloid? I have to confess I am still impressed by epic. (Keep in mind, epic was done in 2004.) And my actors – words – call for a typographic style already. The main part was done over a weekend with Apple Keynote. And I even found a wonderful matching soundtrack among my albums: Didge Goes World by Delago. I picked parts of Second Day and Seventh Day. Literally, the rhythm was set, and I "just" had to complete the movie. Tools used – apart from trial and error: Keynote, Pixelmator, GarageBand, iMovie. Finally I want to mention that I am extremely thankful to BSC Music for granting permissions to use the tracks for this short film! Without this sound it would have been just an ordinary slide show. – Internal note: The next SocialChat is on Death by PowerPoint vs. Presentation Zen. CU this Friday 3pm Greenwich / 7am Pacific.

• Office lights on or off in programming department? How to decide? [closed]

  At my company, the programmers who sit in the same area are constantly fighting over whether the lights stay on or off. Because there is no official policy it makes it a particularly sticky situation. We are a typical cube-farm and we have those typical cube-farm fluorescent lights and smaller ones at our desks. With the lights off, it is difficult to read and you would probably need to turn on your desk light (which some people do anyway). All programmers in our department do most of their reading on their monitor because of the nature of our business. Some feel that we should have a vote to decide whether the lights stay on or off. A couple who prefer 'lights on' feel that the vote would need to be unanimous to turn them off as having them on is the more natural office setting. Those who want them off point out that all other departments keep their lights off. I have heard all of the arguments: -Fluorescent lights cause eye strain -Reading in dark causes eye strain -The desk lights can be used if light is needed -People from other departments feel uncomfortable approaching us in the "dark" -The monitors are harder to see in the light ... Right now, some of the developers turn off the lights and some turn them on. It really just depends who last walked by the switch. I am a bit sick of the controversy as it feels a bit childish at the moment. I'm tired of hearing about it and I'm tired of having to talk about it. I tried to help them decide but as I explained, voting wasn't enough. Do other programming departments have this same argument? What is the standard or traditionally accepted option in a programming area? Are there any good reasons for one way or the other outside of preference? How can we decide fairly? EDIT Just a little more info... We do not have clients/visitors come into our office. We do have windows and hall lights that make our environment plenty bearable with the lights off. It kind of resembles a meeting room that has the lights off during a powerpoint presentation.

Start at the lowest level first – the Task Overview.  Even though the task overviews are written tool-agnostic, they sometimes mention suggestions, or examples of a tool that might be used to complete the task.  More specific tool information can be found in the Task Overview, Templates and Tools section.  In some cases, the tool used to create the template (for example, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Project and Visio) is useful. • Terminal server performance over high latency links

  Our datacenter and head office is currently in Brisbane, Australia, and we have a branch office in the UK. We have a private WAN with a 768k link to our UK office and the latency is at about 350ms. The terminal server performance is reeeeealy bad. Applications that don't have too much animation or any images seem to be okay. But as soon as they do, the session is almost unusable. Powerpoint and internet explorer are good examples of apps that make it run slow. And if there is an image in your email signature, outlook will hang for about 10 seconds each time a new line is inserted, while the image gets moved down a few pixels. We are currently running server 2003. I have tried Server 2008 R2 RDS, and also a third party solution called Blaze by a company called Ericom, but it is still not too much better. We currently have a 5 levels dynamic class of service with the priority in the following order. VoIP Video Terminal Services Printing Everything else When testing the terminal server performance, the link monitored using net-flows, and have plenty we of bandwidth available, so I believe that it is a latency issue rather than bandwidth. Is there anything that can be done to improve performance. Would citrix help at all?

  I have a user, who despite my best efforts, is having constant Office 2007 crashes. I've tried deleting their profile and setting it up again, repairing office, uninstalling completely and then reinstalling, and swapping out memory sticks. • HP G61 Laptop wont boot- display stays off, caps and num lock indicators blink repeatedly

  I had my HP G61 laptop running in sleep for a while. When I came back to it about a half-hour later, it was no longer in sleep mode - the power light and the Wi-Fi indicator light were on (I keep Wi-Fi off becuase I use a wired connection) - but nothing was showing on screen. In fact, the display wasn't even turned on. So I let it sit for about 10 minutes but nothing happened. I did a force shut down and rebooted. Instead of a normal boot, the display didnt turn on, the Wi-Fi indicator was off, and the Caps Lock and Num Lock lights just blinked repeatedly. On the external keyboard i use, none of the light indicators were blinking or even on. I tried force shut-down again 10 times, then unplugged all connections except for the power cable (my laptop battery dosent hold a charge for more than 2 minutes, so I always must have a wall connection) and tried to boot again but still nothing happened. I unplugged the battery and even then nothing happened. I also tried booting with the disk drive open, and then with it closed again. On the time it was closed, I was able to successfully boot into Windows, but recieved a "Windows did not shut-down sucessfully" notice. Does anybody know why this may have happened? My PC's specs: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit 4GB of physical RAM, 8GB of vRAM (on a flash drive) AMD Vision x64 processor (don't know any other specs about it) ATI Radeon graphics card, 392 MB DVD-R/W lightscribe drive 2 External hard-disks (first one is 1.5TB, second one is 1TB) custom boot-screen and boot-annimation Standard BIOS apps running before sleep: firefox 10.4 itunes 10.6 adobe photoshop extended CS5.1 rockstar games social club (running in background) microsoft powerpoint 2010 professional edition google chrome I was NOT running Aero or any fancy themes - I was using the normal windows classic theme. I have a desktop icon manager application called Stardock Fences that was also running (it runs as a service/process).

• Looking for "bitmap-vector" image editor

  I used to use PhotoImpact which is no longer developed so I'm looking for a replacement. What made PhotoImpact great to me was the ability to work in both bitmap and vector modes. What I mean by that: I could have an image or screenshot and easily add arrows, text captions or shapes to it. These shapes were vector objects so I could come back to them later and amend their properties easily. Software I know of: Paint.NET is purely bitmap so please don't recommend it - layers are not enough for my needs Drawing tools in MS Office work pretty much the way I'd like - you can paste an image and then add vector objects on top of it. It just doesn't feel right to have the full-fidelity original images stored as .docx or .pptx (I don't fully trust Word/Powerpoint that they don't compress the image) I'm not sure about GIMP but if it's just "better Paint.NET" (i.e., layers but no vector objects) I'm not interested Photoshop is out of question purely because of its price tag Corel killed PhotoImpact because they already had a competing product (Paint Shop Pro) but AFAIK it lacks vector features. Any tips for PhotoImpact alternatives would be very welcome.

• Knowledge and user generated content management system to track files, research, proposals, etc.?

  I'll try keep it short. Here's the scenario: We have employees all over the world performing similar work i.e. research, generating powerpoint slides, word documents, graphics, etc. Many times a lot of this previous work can be reused for another future project. The current arrangement is email and phone calls which as you would agree is quick if you know where to look but otherwise archaic and very very inefficient. So I am looking for software that will allow me to do the following: Tag files e.g. an investor presentation on cellphone usage in kenya would be tagged investor, cellphone, kenya Manage references e.g. if we read something on the internet, should be able to paste that link in some fashion and tag it as above. Preferably cloud based so that it can be accessed by anybody and additionally would be nice (though NOT must) to have access levels (director, manager, everyone) A nice interface that non technically savvy folks can warm up to ;) A desktop app would be handy so that people don't always have to click upload or something A tree based system is inefficient in this case because content is usually linked across branches and also people might not quite agree on one format of a tree. Tagging works around this very nicely. What I have considered so far: Evernote (for its more professional look) Springpad (for its versatility with content) Mendeley (this is a research manager and in some ways ideal, but i fear its limited to PDFs) The goal is that when somebody wants to look for a document, they don't have to ask a colleague, they can just search with keywords and all relevant information shows up. • Prevent Outlook 2010 Insert Picture resizing image

  When I "Insert Picture" a JPEG in Outlook 2010 it automatically resizes the image and, I think, recompresses it too. I realise this would be useful for photographs or for people who try to email 1MB BMPs but I would like to email around an image at the original pixel size without recompression. Is there a way to turn this off, or better still choose settings for each image insert? I found this page in the Office help. It's for Word, PowerPoint and Excel not Outlook but points you at File, Options, Advanced, Image Settings. There's no equivalent section in Outlook. I know Outlook uses Word as its editor so I've looked at Word's settings but there isn't an 'original size' here: there's only 'turn off image recompression' and pick target DPI from 96, 150, 220. I guess Office is finding a DPI value in the JPEG file and scaling it up or down to match this setting. I can't find an equivalent option in Outlook's options menu but there's so many settings and pop-up dialogs I may have missed something. Picture Format, Reset image size resets the image to the rescaled version, not the original. I can't see a way to edit a pixel value into size values in the image properties after insert. Thanks! I realise I can probably achieve this by editing the image metadata in PhotoShop elements or similar but there ought to be a way without editing the file? This is new behaviour in Outlook 2010; 2007 didn't do this.

• What apps can you only get on Mac and not Windows?

  What apps do you absolutely have to use a Mac to run, and there are no decent Windows PC equivalent? This is not a religious war. Please be specific and practical It doesn't have to be a direct 1-2-1 comparison, but overall usefulness to the task I'll start off with a few: KeyNote -- the animations are quite cool and not available in PowerPoint iTune's photo sync -- on Windows it makes copy of all the photos you want to sync, effectively double the space taken up by your photos. On a Mac it's easier as long as you use iPhoto Keychain -- a centralized password manager tied to the OS. The benefit of this is you don't have to set a Master Password (like Firefox) which you need to enter when starting the browser. And it doesn't reveal your password (like Chrome, which makes no effort in hiding the password you have stored in Options) Time Machine -- 0-configuration backup in the background. Easy interface for restoring a file, or even just a contact in the address book. Text-to-speech -- works in any program, and sounds better than Windows computer voice Quick View -- press space bar to preview a file. Windows95 had quick view, but was removed.

There are a variety of tools available to help you and Support diagnose SOA Suite issues in 11g but it can be confusing as to which tool is appropriate for a particular situation and what their relationships are. This blog post will introduce the various tools and attempt to clarify what each is for and how they are related. Let's first list the tools we'll be addressing: RDA: Remote Diagnostic Agent DFW: Diagnostic Framework Selective Tracing DMS: Dynamic Monitoring Service ODL: Oracle Diagnostic Logging ADR: Automatic Diagnostics Repository ADRCI: Automatic Diagnostics Repository Command Interpreter WLDF: WebLogic Diagnostic Framework This overview is not mean to be a comprehensive guide on using all of these tools, however, extensive reference materials are included that will provide many more details on their execution. Another point to note is that all of these tools are applicable for Fusion Middleware as a whole but specific products may or may not have implemented features to leverage them. A couple of the tools have a WebLogic Scripting Tool or 'WLST' interface. WLST is a command interface for executing pre-built functions and custom scripts against a domain. A detailed WLST tutorial is beyond the scope of this post but you can find general information here. The BDD demonstration uses a case study-based approach to highlight a business problem at a fictional company, Avitek Corporation, and uses Oracle BPM and Oracle WebCenter to solve the business problem. This holistic approach has specifically been used to appeal to a non-technical business analyst user. This demo is NOT focused on product features, but aims to guide users through a complete BPM lifecycle. The scenario is based on improving a simple order process (scenario details are in the demo script). Avitek Corporation is sufferinng from a manual email-driven ordering process. Sales reps don’t know where the customer orders are stuck (no visibility) and finance users are unable to manually approve every order (no automation). There are several areas where this process can be improved with Business Process Management technology. This demo shows how improving following areas will ignificantly help resolve the business problems Avitek Corporation is facing. Areas for improvement include: Utilizing BPM for process management, rather than an unregulated, email-based process. Utilizing automated services, rather than requiring a human to key into a system. For example, Finance checking the customer’s credit rating is something that could be automated. Centralizing business rules that can be integrated into a business process, rather than requiring a human to process them. For example, Finance must determine when orders can be automatically approved. Provide insight and visibility into the process. • jQuery jqGrid TreeGrid not functionining properly

  Hello. I am having trouble constructing a jqGrid TreeGrid using local data.
