• PHP detmine numbers in between two numbers then query

  This should be simple but I can't figure it out <?php $testid = 240; $curid = 251; $cal = $curid - $testid; echo $cal; ?> I want to determine the numbers in between two other numbers so for this example it detects there are 11 numbers in between the $testid and $curid, but i dont need it to do that. I need it to literally figure the numbers in between $curid - $testid which in this example would be 241, 242, 243... all the way to 251 then i need to create a loop with those numbers and do a query below with each one $cal = $curid - $testid; mysql_query("SELECT * FROM wall WHERE id='".$cal."'") // and for each number mysql should out put each data field with those numbers.   Hi Guys, I don't know what I am missing here. I am trying to concatenate strings using NSString stringWithFormat function. This is what I am doing. NSString *category = [row objectForKey:@"category"]; NSString *logonUser = [row objectForKey:@"username"]; user.text = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"In %@ by %@", category, logonUser]; The problem here is that it always print only one variable. Say if there is "Sports" in category and "Leo" in logonUser it will print "In Sports" and skip the remaining text. It should print "In Sports by Leo". Thanks

  Hello Guys, I'm a total noob when it comes to iPhone development and have been tasked to create a database app that can download and upload sqlite data to and from a server via http using web services. So far I already have a form for retrieving and saving data to a SQLite database and now I need some information on how I can upload the SQLite data to a server. The SQLite database will only have one table with 3 columns and about 200 rows max. I hope somebody can point me to the right direction or lead me to some sample codes. Appreciate any help.

• jQuery: split and hide html data

  Hi guys! I need to split somehow some html data (a text with html tags) into two parts and hide the second one with a show/hide link. The thing is all texts are being stored in the database with html tags. Some of those texts are short, but some are really long. We don't want't to show long ones, so one of the options is to show a teaser with a show/hide link. I can't just cut the string though (let's say first 300 characters), because it'll break html code of the page. I'm looking for a solution/suggestions how to show a teaser of the text using jQuery without breaking the html code of the page. Thank you.

I thought of create a viewbase and inside it I create my dependencies instances and inject it in my presenter instance. Could also have a HttpModule that intercept the calls to page and then I could inject my dependencies. I have some ideas but none I can inject my view in constructor only I can inject my view in mey presente by property. Someone have any ideas how do you do to inject my dependencies and my view in constructor of the presenter?

• How to create a BBC style (facebox?) help popup

  Hi guys, I have tried to take apart the code, but can't seem to replicate it. On the BBC weather homepage, http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/, you will see a little help quetionmark in a circle in the top right corner or some of the boxes. When you click on it, it brings up a nice help popup, that looks a little like facebox. The main thing I like about this, is the little arrow that points back to the help button to the right of the container. Facebox is just a standard square. If anyone knows how to replicate this, some help would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Ian

  Hey guys, here's my setup Castle Windsor is my container NServiceBus is itself using it's own container internally, Spring by default I'm implementing the PubSub config. Ok, if I have my Bus.Publish happening within my IWantToRunAtStartup class, then everything is fine. As a test for example on Run() we can start a timer and it'll go into a Service style loop. However, what if I want to abstract NServiceBus from my app, and have my app go: new CustomPulisherClass().Notify(ISomeMessage msg); In this situation, how do I implement CustomPublisherClass. My confusion is coming from the fact that NServiceBus is already running as a Service, it's already been "Started". How to I get at the correct instance of the Bus object? cheers andy

• How can I hide tracing code in Visual Studio IDE C# ?

  As I'm starting to put more tracing in my code, i'm realizing it adds a lot of clutter. I know Visual Studio allows you to hide and reveal code, however, i'd like to be able group code into "tracing" code and then hide it and reveal at will as i'm reading the code. I suppose it could do this either per file or per class or per function. Is there any way to do this? What do you guys do? Adding some clarification The hide current feature kind of allows you to do this except that when the code is hidden, you can't tell if its tracing or not. You also can't say "hide all tracing code" and "reveal all tracing code" which is useful when reading a function depending on what you are trying to do.

• Bitbanging a PIO on Coldfire/ucLinux

  Here's the problem: I need to program some hardware via 2 pins of the PIO (1 clock, 1 data). Timing constraints are tight - 10ms clock cycle time. All this, of course, whilst I maintain very high level services (CAN bus, TCP/IP). The downstream unit also ACKS by asserting a PIO pin, configured as an input, high. So this loop has to both read and write. I need to send 16 bits in the serial stream. Is there an established way to do this sort of thing or should I simply get the hardware guys to add a PIC or somesuch. I'd much prefer to avoid exotics like RTAI extensions at this stage. I did once see a reference to user-mode IO which implied a possible interrupt driven driver but lost track of it. Any pointers welcomed.

  I am using a WebBrowser-Control to fill in a webform and then click at a button, this currently results in a standard Download File Dialog (you get these if you download a file using internet explorer), but instead, I have to catch this file and save it automatically with a by me defined name to a specific folder. I am trying to code a little application in vb.net which download the Export-file from my wordpress-blog, and I want to do this completely without user-interaction. Currently everything works, except the downloading of the file. I tried to catch it with the event System.Windows.Controls.WebBrowser.Navigating(ByVal Object, ByVal System.Windows.Navigation.NavigatingCancelEventArgs) but I don't see where to download the file from :( I hope you guys can help me.

  Hey guys quick question, I have a query that I want to count all entries it finds, and select all so when I use while($row=mysql_fetch_assoc($query)){ it will list all entries. The problem I am encountering is that while, all the entries are successfully counted and the right number is listed, only the latest entry is select and listed when I echo $row['title']. If I delete , COUNT(*) as total then it selects all but I was wondering if it was possible to use count and select *. I was wondering if anyone knew what I am doing wrong?   Hi guys, I have been charged with the task of analysing the log table of my company's website. This table contains a user's click path throughout the website for a given session. My company is looking to understand/spot trends based on the 'click paths' of our users. In doing so, identify groups of users that take on a certain 'click path' based on age/geography and so on. As you can tell from the title, I am completely new to BI and its capabilities so I was wondering: Are our objectives attainable? How should I go about doing this? I am currently reading books online as well as other e-books I have found. All signs seem to suggest this is possible via sequence clustering. Although the exact implementation and tweaks involved are currently lost on me. Therefore, if anyone has first hand experience in such an undertaking, I would be awesome if you could share it here. • jQuery - Add click event to Div and go to first link found

  Hi guys, I think I've been too much time looking at this function and just got stuck trying to figure out the nice clean way to do it. It's a jQuery function that adds a click event to any div with a click CSS class found in the page and when clicked it redirects the user to the first link found in the div. function clickabledivs() { $('.click').each( function (intIndex) { $(this).bind("click", function(){ window.location = $( "#"+$(this).attr('id')+" a:first-child" ).attr('href'); }); } ); } The code simply works although I'm pretty sure there is a fairly better way to accomplish it, specially the selector I am using: $( "#"+$(this).attr('id')+" a:first-child" ) looks too long and slow. • Is it possible to resize a SpriteAsset without adding it to the display list?

  Hi guys, I have an embedded image asset (with a scale9 grid), and I'm trying to get the bitmapdata when it's resized, but I can't seem to do this without adding it to the display list. I try this: spriteAsset.setActualSize(w,h); spriteAsset.width = w; bmd.draw(spriteAsset); But when I then draw out the bitmapdata with graphics.beginBitmapFill(), I just get the original un-stretched image. Any pointers? Or do I need to take 9 separate BitmapData images and make 9 separate bitmap fills? Cheers, -Josh

I think its something related to problems with referencing li elements using jQuery('#special').corner('5px'); Could anyone help :) ?
