  Hey, I am building a email service based on templates. I thought of using the spark view engine but it seems that It doesn't get much updates anymore. Support on .NET4.0 is not even yet complete and it fails at runtime when used in a console app. The little Intellisense support that was there in VS2008 doesn't seem to work on VS2010 (from the information I have found) Should I avoid it? What do you think?

  I start a jetty server on linux using nohup mvn jetty:run & to run it in background and to stay when I quit from the console. Usually (mvn jetty:run) it starts in seconds, but in this case it takes about minute to start. What can be the cause of such a delay? Thanks.

• bing api 2.0 sdk json samples got syntax error in Firefox browser

  I just downloaded the Bing API 2.0 SDK. There are several html files in Bing API 2.0 SDK\Samples\JSON directory. I replaced the AppId in the JavaScript with my new AppId. These pages run fine in IE but I got 'syntax error' in Firefox, Firebug console. Does anyone have similar issues? What is in the page that is causing the 'syntax error'? Thank you very much. Jazure

  Hi Im trying to add a app.config file to my dll, but all attempts have failed. According to MusicGenesis in 'Putting configuration information in a DLL' this should not be a problem. So obviously im doing something wrong... The following code should return my connectionstring from my dll : return ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["ConnectionString"]; However, when I copy the app.config file to my console application, it works fine. Any ideas?

  I'm running this query: SELECT FROM com.Data WHERE entryDate DATE('2010-3-16') I get this error: org.datanucleus.store.appengine.query.DatastoreQuery$UnsupportedDatastoreFeatureException: Problem with query DATE('2010-3-16'): Unsupported method while parsing expression: InvokeExpression{[null].DATE(Literal{2010-3-16})} The same query works when I use it on the admin console. But it does not work for code (java), either locally or when deployed. Any ideas?

How can I create a SQL script from the command prompt or Powershell that will let me insert the files into a simple table with the following schema: XMLDataFiles ( xmlFileName varchar(255) , content xml ) All I need is for something to generate a script with a bunch of insert statements. It's name is "chain" for now, and here is a usage example; chain("Hello World") (print) // evaluates print function by passing "Hello World" object. (console.log,"Optional","Parameters") (returnfrom) // returns "Hello World" It looks lispy but behaves very different since it's coded in a C based language, I don't know if there is a name for this idiom and I couldn't any name more suitable than "chain".   Hi, I have a war file and when deploying it thro the admin console in websphere i am getting the following error after specifying the war file location and the context-root. The EAR file might be corrupt or incomplete. org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.commonarchivecore.internal.exception.DeploymentDescriptorLoadException: WEB-INF/web.xml Any suggesstions to resolve this issue?
