  • How can I filter images and use filesystemview icons in my jtree?

    - by HoLeX
    First of all sorry about my english. So, i have some problems with my JTree because i want to filter specific types of images and also i want to use icons of FileSystemView class. Can you help me? I will appreciate so much. Here is my code: import java.awt.BorderLayout; import java.io.File; import java.util.Iterator; import java.util.Vector; import javax.swing.JPanel; import javax.swing.JTree; import javax.swing.event.TreeModelEvent; import javax.swing.event.TreeModelListener; import javax.swing.event.TreeSelectionEvent; import javax.swing.event.TreeSelectionListener; import javax.swing.tree.TreeModel; import javax.swing.tree.TreePath; public class ArbolDirectorio extends JPanel { private JTree fileTree; private FileSystemModel fileSystemModel; public ArbolDirectorio(String directory) { this.setLayout(new BorderLayout()); this.fileSystemModel = new FileSystemModel(new File(directory)); this.fileTree = new JTree(fileSystemModel); this.fileTree.setEditable(true); this.fileTree.addTreeSelectionListener(new TreeSelectionListener() { @Override public void valueChanged(TreeSelectionEvent event) { File file = (File) fileTree.getLastSelectedPathComponent(); System.out.println(getFileDetails(file)); } }); this.add(fileTree, BorderLayout.CENTER); } private String getFileDetails(File file) { if (file == null) { return ""; } StringBuffer buffer = new StringBuffer(); buffer.append("Name: " + file.getName() + "\n"); buffer.append("Path: " + file.getPath() + "\n"); return buffer.toString(); } } class FileSystemModel implements TreeModel { private File root; private Vector listeners = new Vector(); public FileSystemModel(File rootDirectory) { root = rootDirectory; } @Override public Object getRoot() { return root; } @Override public Object getChild(Object parent, int index) { File directory = (File) parent; String[] children = directory.list(); return new TreeFile(directory, children[index]); } @Override public int getChildCount(Object parent) { File file = (File) parent; if (file.isDirectory()) { String[] fileList = file.list(); if (fileList != null) { return file.list().length; } } return 0; } @Override public boolean isLeaf(Object node) { File file = (File) node; return file.isFile(); } @Override public int getIndexOfChild(Object parent, Object child) { File directory = (File) parent; File file = (File) child; String[] children = directory.list(); for (int i = 0; i < children.length; i++) { if (file.getName().equals(children[i])) { return i; } } return -1; } @Override public void valueForPathChanged(TreePath path, Object value) { File oldFile = (File) path.getLastPathComponent(); String fileParentPath = oldFile.getParent(); String newFileName = (String) value; File targetFile = new File(fileParentPath, newFileName); oldFile.renameTo(targetFile); File parent = new File(fileParentPath); int[] changedChildrenIndices = { getIndexOfChild(parent, targetFile) }; Object[] changedChildren = { targetFile }; fireTreeNodesChanged(path.getParentPath(), changedChildrenIndices, changedChildren); } private void fireTreeNodesChanged(TreePath parentPath, int[] indices, Object[] children) { TreeModelEvent event = new TreeModelEvent(this, parentPath, indices, children); Iterator iterator = listeners.iterator(); TreeModelListener listener = null; while (iterator.hasNext()) { listener = (TreeModelListener) iterator.next(); listener.treeNodesChanged(event); } } @Override public void addTreeModelListener(TreeModelListener listener) { listeners.add(listener); } @Override public void removeTreeModelListener(TreeModelListener listener) { listeners.remove(listener); } private class TreeFile extends File { public TreeFile(File parent, String child) { super(parent, child); } @Override public String toString() { return getName(); } } }

  • Replacing old server with new but different hostname & same IP

    - by MaxFr
We have an old server 2000 and lots of users point to it by hostname and by its IP e.g \\server1, we have a new server 2008 R2 with new name serverlocation1 All folders and data have been sync'toy'd from the old server1 across to serverlocation1 each evening, the new server tree is exactly the same on the new server and all perms are correct. We need to make the new server the same IP as the old server1 as too many people access it directly via IP, and to ensure file and folder paths stay ok, anything \\server1\folder\file needs to go to \\newserverlocation1\folder\file etc I can change the old server1 name to server1-old & change IP and assign the old IP to the new server, but how do I force anything coming in for \\server1 to go to the new server and ensure anything referenced to the old server goes onto the new server ? I can CNAME but I need the new server to have the IP of the previous server so not sure if its straight forward etc..... point server1 to newserverlocation1 Then probably change DNS so that the OLD IP points to new hostname..... Any clarification appreciated.

  • How to install libcrypt-ssleay-perl in Ubuntu?

    - by Deqing
When I tried to install libcrypt-ssleay-perl, it says: $ sudo apt-get install libcrypt-ssleay-perl Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libcrypt-ssleay-perl : Depends: perlapi-5.12.4 but it is not installable E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. • Remote I/O costs with a Content Delivery Network

    - by x711Li
As far as I know, the time complexity of scanning a directory and the amount of files in said directory are correlated due to I/O costs. Would the administrative costs of placing the files in a hashed directory tree for uploading/downloading files through a CDN API be worth it for the added efficiency? For instance, given a filename foo.mp3, the MD5 hash for this is 10ebb1120767e9de166e0f5905077cb1. Thus, storing foo.mp3 in ./10/eb/foo.mp3 would allow for less files per directory (assuming MD5 generates patterns with in Base36, this allows for 36^2 root directories with 36^2 subdirectories each and little chance of hash collision) Considering the directories themselves are not loaded, would the I/O costs of directory scanning still exist with direct uploading/downloading?

  • How to block access to files in the current directory with .htaccess

    - by kfir
I have a few private files in a public folder and I want to block access to them. For example lets say I have the following files tree: DictA FileA FileA FileB FileC I want to block access to FileB and FileA in the current directory and allow access to the FileA in the DictA directory. The first thing that came to mind was to use the FilesMatch directive as follows: <FilesMatch "^(?:FileA)|(?:FileB)$"> Deny from all </FilesMatch> The problem here is that FileA inside DictA will also be blocked, which is not what I wanted. I could override that by adding another .htaccess file to DictA but I would like to know if there is a solution which wont involve that. P.S: I can't move the private files to a separate folder.

  • Rails Model has_many with multiple foreign_keys

    - by Kenzie
Relatively new to rails and trying to model a very simple family "tree" with a single Person model that has a name, gender, father_id and mother_id (2 parents). Below is basically what I want to do, but obviously I can't repeat the :children in a has_many (the first gets overwritten). class Person < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :father, :class_name => 'Person' belongs_to :mother, :class_name => 'Person' has_many :children, :class_name => 'Person', :foreign_key => 'mother_id' has_many :children, :class_name => 'Person', :foreign_key => 'father_id' end Is there a simple way to use has_many with 2 foreign keys, or maybe change the foreign key based on the object's gender? Or is there another/better way altogether? Thanks!

  • How to find all photos taken in April - any April?

    - by Mawg
I have 100+ gB of photos going back 25 years. They are arranged in a directory tree by category, with nested sub-directories. How can I make a search for all photos taken in a given month, say April, in any of those directories? I don't think that a Windows search will work as that will probably be the file creation data, which could be a month or two later wen I finally more the files from SD card to PC. Perhaps searching the EXIF data? Is there a free program which can do that?

  • css position when resizing browser

    - by user478636
    When resizing the browser I noticed that all the elements get out of place and the website layout gets distorted. This also occurs on with low-resolution. Is this because I have used position:relative;? How can I make the page elements not move from their position when resizing. body{ background:url(../img/bg-silver.jpg) #F2F2F2; font-family:"Lucida Sans Unicode", "Lucida Grande", sans-serif; font-size:11px; line-height:18px; color:#636363; margin-top:10%; } #containerHolder { background: #eee; padding: 5px; position:relative; } #container { background: #fff; background:rgba(245,245,245,0.8); border: 1px solid #ddd; } #main { margin: 0 0 0 20px; padding: 0 19px 0 0; }

  • How to let Linux Python application handle termination on user logout correctly?

    - by tuxpoldo
I have written a Linux GUI application in Python that needs to do some cleanup tasks before being terminated when the user logs out. Unfortunately it seems, that on logout, all applications are killed. I tried both to handle POSIX signals and DBUS notifications, but nothing worked. Any idea what I could have made wrong? On application startup I register some termination handlers: # create graceful shutdown mechanisms signal.signal(signal.SIGTERM, self.on_signal_term) self.bus = dbus.SessionBus() self.bus.call_on_disconnection(self.on_session_disconnect) When the user logs out, neither self.on_signal_term nor self.on_session_disconnect are called. The problem occurs in several scenarios: Ubuntu 14.04 with Unity, Debian Wheezy with Gnome. Full code: https://github.com/tuxpoldo/btsync-deb/tree/master/btsync-gui

  • How can I find the names of AD Group policies that a user/pc is using?

    - by Russ
I am having trouble locating some settings in group policy so I can make changes due to the convoluted nature of our policies. What I would like to be able to do is go to a specific PC and see what group policies are being applied, so I can focus on those policies. My goal would be to clean up the GP's a bit, while allowing me to "walk the tree" to see what people have implemented and what is worthless. Thanks. EDIT: In this specific case, I am looking to find which GP maped drives are configured in. (User Configuration -- Preferences -- Windows Settings -- Drive Maps)

  • Nginx PHP-FPM Basic Auth

    - by Lari13
    I have nginx with php-fpm installed on Debian Squeeze. Directory tree is: /var/www/mysite index.php secret_folder_1 admin.php static.html secret_folder_2 admin.php static.html pictures img01.jpg I need to close secret_folder_1 and secret_folder_2 with basic_auth. Now config looks like: location ~ /secret_folder_1/.+\.php$ { root /var/www/mysite/; fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000; fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME /var/www/mysite$fastcgi_script_name; include fastcgi_params; auth_basic "Restricted Access"; auth_basic_user_file /path/to/.passwd; } location ~ /secret_folder_1/.* { root /var/www/mysite/; auth_basic "Restricted Access"; auth_basic_user_file /path/to/.passwd; } Same config for secret_folder_2. Is it normal? I mean, first location for serving php files in restricted folder, and second location for serving static files. Can it be simplified?

  • Outlook 2007 inbox message grouping like the Web App

    - by Heki
The Outlook Web App has this nice, default, conversation grouping. It hides all earlier messages in a conversation from the message list. When I click a mail, it shows the conversation thread in the reading pane. In Outlook 2007 I have tried grouping on received date, but it groups by minutes and not days. I've also tried grouping by conversation, but then I get this ugly tree in the list pane and I loose the "today", "yesterday", and vice versa groups. So how do I make Outlook 2007 look like the Outlook Web App? Illustration

  • How to troubleshoot Application Popup issues 0XC0000142 and 0XC000009a

    - by DotDot
I am running randomly into 1 of these popups when our application runs. The machines range from 8GB/8Core to 24GB/24Core and run Windows Server 2008 R2. The application is a bunch of perl scripts and exe's that are expected to utilitize the server well. The process tree can be quite deep (5-6 child levels) and quite broad (60-70 level 1 processes). We hit this issues every 1% run on random machines. The application stalls on popup, unless someone clicks the damn button. The event log reads as cmd.exe - "Failed to initialize app. Click OK to close app" How could I reliably repro these issues?

  • How can I find all the supported weights of a Font in Java?

    - by William
How can I find all the available font weights for a given font in Java? The TextAttribute for font weight lists 11 different weight constants, way more than just Font.PLAIN and Font.BOLD. I'd like to know which ones actually exist for a given font family, so I can make sure I'm only using weights for which a font face exists. The getAttributes() and getAvailableAttributes() methods in Font will only show me whether or not the Font supports the FONT_WEIGHT attribute, not which weight values it supports. If I just pass in a particular value to see what I get back, I don't have any guarantee that I'll get what I asked for. The TextAttribute class says "The values for WEIGHT, WIDTH, and POSTURE are interpolated by the system, which can select the 'nearest available' font or use other techniques to approximate the user's request."

  • How long can a hash left out in the open be considered safe?

    - by Xeoncross
If I were to leave a SHA2 family hash out on my website - how long would it be considered safe? How long would I have before I could be sure that someone would find a collision for it and know what was hashed? I know that the amount of time would be based on the computational power of the one seeking to break it. It would also depend on the string length, but I'm curious just how secure hashes are. Since many of us run web-servers we constantly have to be prepared for the day when someone might make it all the way to the database which stores the user hashes. So, move the server security out of the way and then what do you have? This is a slightly theoretical area for many of the people I have talked with, so I would love to actually have some more information about average expectations for cracking.

  • git log throws error "ambiguous argument"

    - by LonelyPixel
This used to work about a year ago. Now it doesn't: git log --abbrev=6 The expected result would be all commit hashes abbreviated to 6 characters. The actual result is now this error message: fatal: ambiguous argument '6': unknown revision or path not in the working tree. Use '--' to separate paths from revisions, like this: 'git [...] -- [...]' I have the impression that Git doesn't even know about that argument and tries to silently ignore its name but not the value. Using Git 1.8.1.msysgit.1 on Windows 7. Addition: Oh and it fails on other parameters, too. The entire command is: git log --abbrev=6 --format=format:"----- Commit %%h on %%ci by %%an -----%%n%%n%%B" If I just leave the abbrev part out, it still returns another error: fatal: Invalid object name 'format'.

  • Why my browsers display XML files as blank pages?

    - by n1313
Every time I open an XML file, all I get is blank page instead of tag tree. The file itself is correct and loads okay, I can see it via View Source or in the Firebug. I've tried turning off all my addons and tried running Firefox in safe mode, but the problem was not solved. I'm guessing that I've messed up my configuration somehow and Firefox now tries to render XML files as HTML ones. I've tried googling, but with no success. Help, please? UPD: example file: http://lj.lain.ru/3/1273657698603.sample.xml Also I've noticed that somehow all of the browsers on the machine are now acting the same, so I'm changing the question accordingly

  • i want to start my own software/consulting company...ohhh the dilemma [closed]

    - by Andreas
I know this is may not be the right place to ask this sort of question,,on the other hand i am sure that it maybe the best...as many of you own a startup. I've been in the industry since 2006, mostly in consulting/business system analysis/project management jobs, not so much coding etc, and although i like working for the companies i am in at the moment...i daily think of starting up something on my own, consulting company,a software company with a good product, but it's the dilemma of making the first step, havent got much money saved up, i have a mortgage and about to start a family so as you can see it's difficult to let the security of a job and take the risk to just do it.... I am sure many of you have been in this dilemma, how did you start off? advice is greatly appreciated Andy

  • Why is there a margin at the top of my browser?

    - by fmz
I have a web page that is displays differently in Firefox and Safari (IE testing yet to come). The page displays as expected in Safari, but there is a 50px margin between the body and the HTML that I can't determine what is causing it. Here is the CSS for the body: body { font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.333em; background: #f6eaae url(../_images/parchment-big.jpg) no-repeat center top; font-family: "Lucida Grande", Lucida, Verdana, sans-serif; color: #323232; } I would really appreciate some assistance in finding what is causing this difference. Ideally the Firefox version is better because it gives that extra breathing room at the top. Thanks.
