  • How do you edit tab labels per tab in GVim?

    How do you edit a tab label, per tab, in GVim? You can do this: set guitablabel=foo But that will set every tab's label to "foo". The documentation seems to suggest using a t:var, like this: let t:guitablabel="foo" But it doesn't do anything. Is there any way to give each different tab a different name?

  • Biztalk - how do I set up MSMQ load balancing and high availability ?

    Hi, From what I understand, in order to achieve MSMQ load-balancing, one must use a technology such as NLB. And in order to achieve MSMQ high-availability, one must cluster the related Biztalk Host (and hence the underlying servers have to be in a cluster themselves). Yet, according to Microsoft Documentation, NLB and FailOver Clustering technologies are not compatible.   • How to install new modes in emacs 23 on OS X?

    I just downloaded the Haskell and J modes off of SourceForge, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to make them interface with emacs 23. Google searches yield detailed instructions for emacs 22, but it looks like changes have been made that make it hard to figure out where I'm supposed to stick the binaries. The internal documentation seems to assume more experience with emacs internals than I currently have, and the problem has resisted solution for several days. Does anyone know how to get these modes up and running?

    I'm working on a c# project that use a Versant Object Database back end and I'm trying to build a query that contains an arithmetic operator. The documentation states that it is supported but lack any example. I'm trying to build something like this: SELECT * FROM _orderItemObject WHERE _qtyOrdered - _qtySent > 0 If I try this statement in the Object Inspector I get a synthax error near the '-'. Anyone has an example of a working VQL with that kind of statement? Thanks

  • Should $new_link be used in mysql_connect()?

    I'm maintaining an inherited site built on Drupal. We are currently experiencing "too many connections" to the database. In the /includes/database.mysql.inc file, @mysql_connect($url['host'], $url['user'], $url['pass'], TRUE, 2) (mysql_connect() documentation) is used to connect to the database. Should $new_link = TRUE be used? My understanding is that it will "always open a new link." Could this be causing the "too many connections"?

    Just installed django-db-log module and trying to make it work properly. 'python manage.py syncdb' command created databases, it seems like logging works, but there is nothing about it in admin panel. As I found in documentation, it should add itself in admin panel without any additional configuration, but then I added 'djangodblog.middleware.DBLogMiddleware' in MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES and 'djangodblog' in INSTALLED_APPS it looks like nothing happens. What I'm doing wrong?

  • Condor job using DAG with some jobs needing to run the same host

    I have a computation task which is split in several individual program executions, with dependencies. I'm using Condor 7 as task scheduler (with the Vanilla Universe, due do constraints on the programs beyond my reach, so no checkpointing is involved), so DAG looks like a natural solution. However some of the programs need to run on the same host. I could not find a reference on how to do this in the Condor manuals. Example DAG file: JOB A A.condor JOB B B.condor JOB C C.condor JOB D D.condor PARENT A CHILD B C PARENT B C CHILD D I need to express that B and D need to be run on the same computer node, without breaking the parallel execution of B and C.     Hi, Regarding innodb, someone recently told me: "the varchar content beyond 768 bytes is stored in supplemental 16K pages" This is very interesting. If each varchar will be latin1, which I believe stores as 1byte per letter, would a single varchar(500) (<768 bytes) require an extra i/o as a varchar(1000) (768 bytes) would?? (this question is to find out if all varchars or just big varchars are split into a separate page) Is the 768 limit per varchar or for all varchars in the row added together? (for example, does this get optimized - varchar(300), varchar(300), varchar(300): [where each individual varchar column is below 768 but together they are above 768 characters]? I am confused about if the 768 limit relates to each individual varchar or all varchars in the row totaled (as in the question). Any clarification? EDIT: Removed part about CHARS due to finding out about their limit of 255 max.
