• Url rewriting : prevent to display xml

  Edit : I've got an aspx file (default.aspx) that loads a flash file (index.swf), but this swf needs a xml file (foo.xml) to load correctly. However, I would like to block any request aiming directly at the xml file. Is it possible, using a rewritting engine (isapi_rewrite for example) to detect if the xml file is being 'hotlinked' or being loaded by the 'index.swf'(inside default.aspx)? Any ideas? Thank you.

  I'm using Python's subprocess.communicate() to read stdout from a process that runs for about a minute. How can I print out each line of that process's stdout in a streaming fashion, so that I can see the output as it's generated, but still block on the process terminating before continuing? subprocess.communicate() appears to give all the output at once.

  I was trying to extend user profile. I founded a few solutions, but the most recommended was to create new user class containing foreign key to original django.contrib.auth.models.User class.   I have a ByteInputStream, created from a Socket in Java. The connection is to a simple web server that uses chunked transfer encoding. The web server does in fact work in normal browser. But in my program, I am attempting to read, I read the first first bytes (some 5kb of data). But each read after that returns 0 bytes read. Isn't it supposed to block until it can read?

  Hi I am new to jQuery, and this is the page I'm currently developing. http://90.230.237.71/gandhi.html (Hope that works now :P) When I hit "Show/hide gallery" all the images are first opened vertically, and later they are corrected to their horizontal placement, that's the problem. They should be horizontal right away! I don't know if this is due to jQuerys slideDown or entirely CSS-related, but the code is all there for you. Initally, the images are set to display: none, perhaps they then are invisibly stored vertically. Then slideDown is performed and last, the CSS-attributes are changed to "display: inline". Perhaps I need to change execution order of slideDown and setting the CSS-attributes... but how? I NEED HELP... for many reasons, but I only want you to help me with this one ;) And also, please actually look at the code before making any assumptions. It's all there in the code.

  I've already mapped the necessary files to the local resource - however, while that does allow me to save any changes made to a file in the Sources panel, I was wondering if it's possible to automatically save changes to CSS made in the Elements panel. Otherwise at the moment, any changes made to the style in the Elements panel seem to exist only there. I remember at some point there used to be a little indicator of the file and line number next to a class/id etc. in the Styles tab of the Elements panel - surely it can't be that hard to simply 'update' any changes to that style rule considering Chrome knows exactly where it's coming from (in the case that it's a stylesheet and not an inline style?). It would be a great relief to my workflow. The answers to this similar question are obsolete.

  Hi. It's been a bit since I've gotten really into CSS work, I'm trying to make a simple layout with a menubar. The idea is to have a container holding everything in the center of the screen and have a menubar (unordered inline list) that runs the full length of the screen but the list items to be contained in the container.   I have three divs set up in the following way: <div class="outer-div"> <div class="inner1"></div> <div class="inner2" style="display:none;"></div> </div> I have the second inner div hidden via the inline style. What I am trying to accomplish is that when the outer div, or basically any of the content is hovered over then the inner2 would appear. I am unfamilar with Prototype and having a terrible time trying to get my head around it. Missing jQuery but this time around Prototype is totally required. Thanks in advance for any help!!
