• Java HTML parser/validator

  We allow people to enter HTML code on our wiki-like site. But only a limited subset of HTML to not affect our styling and not allow malicious javascript code. Is there a good Java library on the server side to ensure that the code entered is valid? We tried creating an XML Schema document to validate against. The only issue there is the libraries we used to validate gave back cryptic error messages. What I want is for the validation library to actually fix the issue (if there was a style="" attribute added to an element, remove it). If fixing it is not easy, at least allow me to report a message to the user with the location of the error (an error code that I can present a nice message from is fine, probably even preferable).

• Jquery autocomplete not firing on keyup unless focus changes

  I am using a jquery autocomplete and i have a keyup event for my textbox. When I enter in a letter the function is called but the box is not populated. Once I click away from the box and then click back into it the autocomplete works great. Really weird issue and I have no idea how to fix it. • Unable to send mail through Google SMTP with PHPMailer

  Hello, I'm trying to send out mail using Google's SMTP in combination with PHPMailer, but I can't get it to work. This is my code: $mail->IsSMTP(); $mail->Host = "smtp.gmail.com"; $mail->SMTPAuth = true; $mail->SMTPSecure = "ssl"; $mail->Username = "[email protected]"; $mail->Password = "**********"; $mail->Port = "465"; First I do not fully understand what should be filled in as 'SMTPSecure', some say 'ssl', other say 'tls'. Next for 'Port' I could enter '465' or '587'. But none of the combinations work... Note that I'm using a regular Gmail account and not Google Apps. In my Gmail account I've enabled 'POP access'. The error I get is: "Must issue a STARTTLS command first". Which means SSL failed, but don't know why...

  I would like to use get_or_create to check whether an object already exists in my database. If it does not, then it will be created. If it does exist, then I will not create the new object, but need to raise a form error to inform the user that they need to enter different data (for example, a different username). The view contains: p, created = Person.objects.get_or_create( email = registration_form.cleaned_data['email'], defaults = { 'creationDate': datetime.datetime.now(), 'dateOfBirth': datetime.date(1970,1,1) }) So 'p' will contain the existing Person if it exists, or the new Person if not. I would like to act on the boolean value in 'created' in order to skip over saving the Person and re-display the registration_form and raise an appropriate form validation error. The alternative I'm considering is doing a check in a custom Form validation method to see whether a Person exists with the data in the provided 'email' field, and just raising a validation error.

  I have a test using Cucumber, capybara and selenium driver. This test should go to a form and submit it. The normal text would be Scenario: Fill form Given I am on the Form page When I fill in "field1" with "value1" And I fill in "field2" with "value2" And I press "OK" Then I should see "Form submited" The problem is that I don't have the OK button in the form I need a way to do the "form.submit", without clicking any button or link - the same as happens when you press ENTER when you are in a form field using the browser. I don't know how to tell capybara to submit a form. How can I do it?

  I'm creating a program that checks if a word or phrase is a palindrome. I have the actual "palindrome tester" figured out. What I'm stuck with is where and what to place in my code to have the console read out "Enter palindrome..." and then text. I've tried with IO but it doesnt work out right. Also, how do I create a loop to keep going? • Clear fields on CreateUserWizard, Login control

  I have a createuserwizard and a login control on a page. both of them are customized (standard textboxes are replaced by RadTextBoxes) When i enter a value in the form and refresh the browser without submitting, the forms retain their values. Is there any way i can clear these fields on refresh.   Hey, I am new to SOAP and I am trying to learn how to transfer files (.zip files) between a client and server using PHP and SOAP. • mysql.sock doesn't get installed after mysql installation on snow leopard

  This is a recent problem... MySQL was working and a couple of days ago I must have done something. I deleted MySQL and tried reinstalling using the .dmg file. The mysql.sock file never gets created and I get the following error messages: Hristo$ mysql Enter password: ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) I also tried stopping Apache and installing but Apache gave me an error... I don't know if this is good or bad: Hristo$ sudo apachectl stop launchctl: Error unloading: org.apache.httpd I tried the MacPorts installation as well but the socket file still didn't get created. I don't really know what to do and I don't want to reinstall Snow Leopard and start from scratch :/ Any ideas? Thanks, Hristo

  hi, I have an aspx page on which I have 2 static jquery tabs.Upon clicking on a button avaiable on one of these tabs,I would like to add a new tab dynamically,which gets its content loaded from another aspx page.I've also tried with the following sample http://jquery-ui.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/demos/tabs/manipulation.html I've downloaded jquery-ui-1.8rc3.custom zip file and tried to add the above page with the relevant script,css files to my asp.net website and run,but it does not seem to work.Also I do not want to have a dialog opening and asking the user to enter the tab title as in the above sample. • wxWidgets: How to initialize wxApp without using macros and without entering the main application l

  We need to write unit tests for a wxWidgets application using Google Test Framework. The problem is that wxWidgets uses the macro IMPLEMENT_APP(MyApp) to initialize and enter the application main loop. This macro creates several functions including int main(). The google test framework also uses macro definitions for each test. One of the problems is that it is not possible to call the wxWidgets macro from within the test macro, because the first one creates functions.. So, we found that we could replace the macro with the following code: wxApp* pApp = new MyApp(); wxApp::SetInstance(pApp); wxEntry(argc, argv); That's a good replacement, but wxEntry() call enters the original application loop. If we don't call wxEntry() there are still some parts of the application not initialized. The question is how to initialize everything required for a wxApp to run, without actually running it, so we are able to unit test portions of it?

• ASP.NET remote debugging using Visual Studio 2008

  Im having issues getting this to work, maybe its not even possible? I have a PUBLIC Server http://publicserver.com I want to debug using my laptop from my home (for instance) I run msvsmon.exe on the public server, it starts up fine. On my local machine, i have my code open and in VS, i choose Debug-Attach for Qualifier i enter publicserver.com, but it tells me it cannot find it Questions: 1.) What port does remote debugging use? If i port sniff i dont see msvsmon.exe opening any new port ... Does it use 4015 by default? I dont think its a security thing, so please dont point me to the articles, i have followed them as much as i can, but they dont work for my scenerio (unless you find one i havent seen) Thanks :-)

• clicking the debug button in Eclipse will not start debug mode

  i am running Eclipse 3.5.0 on a MacBook Pro using the Android SDK. i noticed that on this particular project i am working on i cant seem to actually enter debug mode. i click the little green bug icon in the tool bar and the app starts and runs. but if i switch over to the Debug Perspective i see no indication that it is running in debug mode. furthermore i can not hit any brake points that i have set. this makes debugging code a bit hard. Other projects that i am working on don't have this issue. any ideas on what i need to change in the project to get this to work?

• Python - Check if numbers in list are factors of a number

  Hey, I have a list of numbers (integers) (say, from 1 to 10). They're not necessarily consecutive, but they are in ascending order. I've prompted the user multiple times to enter a choice of the available numbers. When that number is entered, it is removed from the list along with any of its factors that may be there. I've prevented the user from selecting prime numbers. However, at some point in time, there may be non-prime numbers there, which have no factors remaining. I'm relatively new to Python, so I'm having trouble implementing: Checking if the number selected has no factors remaining (even if it is not prime). Checking if only prime numbers remain, or numbers without factors. I'm thinking of using for statements, but I'm not sure exactly how to implement them. Can anyone offer advice, or code? Thanks in advance... PS. In case anyone's wondering, I'm doing an implementation of the game of Taxman in Python.

• Asp.net text box is only returning the first value

  C sharp newbie question...I have a simple asp.net form that has a textbox that collects phonenumbers to send SMS messages. If I bypass the form and hardcode the numbers using the following format: "2133211234",#1233211234" the code works fine. However when i try to use this same format using my form, the sms will ONLY send to the first number. I have a feeling i'm missing out on some property on my form that will accept all of the values. also any idea how how i can add some lines of code that will allow users to enter numbers like this: 3123211234,4123212344 and have it converted to the format above when the number is submitted?   let's assume that I have very basic model class Message(models.Model): msg = models.CharField(max_length=30) this model is registered with admin module: class MessageAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin): pass admin.site.register(Message, MessageAdmin) Currently when I go into the admin interface, after clicking "Add message" I have only one form where I can enter the msg. I would like to have multiple forms (formset perhaps) on the "Add page" so I can create multiple messages at once. It's really annoying having to click "Save and add another" every single time. Ideally I would like to achieve something like InlineModelAdmin but it turns out that you can use it only for the models that are related to the object which is edited. What would you recommend to use to resolve this problem?

  How can I find out where an alias is defined on my system? I am referring to the kind of alias that is used within a Terminal session launched from Mac OS X (10.6.3). For example, if I enter the alias command with no parameters at a Terminal command prompt, I get a list of aliases that I have set, for example, this is one of them alias mysql='/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql' However, I have searched all over my system using Spotlight and mdfind in various startup files and so far can not find where this alias has been defined ( I did it a long time ago and didn't write down where I assigned the alias).
