  Hi, I am writing my specs on my model Thing which has a date field which should be after the date of creation, thus I use the *validate_timeliness* plugin like that validate_date :date, :after Time.now I want to be able to add some Things with an anterior date but validation fails. • Rotate webpage via code?

  I'm hoping that there's a relatively simple way to rotate a webpage a little bit, 30 degrees or so, while still leaving it fully functional and usable. I completely control the page, and can modify it to make this easier if needed. I'd rather not re-write the whole thing in SVG, though, but perhaps javascript and canvas will work? Is there a way using CSS, Javascript, or some other cross browser method that would allow me to accomplish this?

• Unable to checkout log4j repository

  I'm using tortoiseSVN to checkout the log4j v1.2 source from - http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/logging/log4j/trunk But i keep getting this error: Error: OPTIONS of '': Could not Error: resolve hostname `svn.apache.org': No such host is known. The funny thing is that i can access 'svn.apache.org' from my browser but if i try to ping it from the command prompt, it says host not found. Does any body else face this problem? Is there any other way to get the source for log4j v1.2?

  Hi, i have a problem only with IE: if i try to invoke a JS function from Flash using ExternalInterface i cannot get result if Flash is embedded inside a JQuery dialog; when i make the same thing from a normal html page it runs. • fgetcsv wont parse file without blank line at end of file

  Im working on a script to run through a CSV file (see previous post) I ran into a weird thing, where if my actual CSV file itself has a blank line at the end of it, it will open and parse just fine, but if it doesn't, if the end of the file ends at the end of the last line, it just shows up blank.

  I'm working on getting django-haystack set up on my site, and am trying to have snippets in my search results roughly like so: Title of result one about Wikis ...this special thing about wiki values is that...I always use a wiki when I walk...snippet value three talks about wikis too...and here's another snippet value about wikis. I know there's a template tag for highlighting, but how do you generate the snippets themselves? I know Solr generates these, but I can't figure out how to get them from Haystack.

  I'm using CMFCOutlookBar from the Feature Pack, and I'm trying to put an icon on the "button" of the tabbed pane - the thing that slides up and down in the bar, when you select a pane. The pane API includes a "SetIcon" function, but this doesn't do anything as far as I can tell. Neither does the "SetTabHicon" function of the bar. Does anyone know how to do this?
