• Clearing a form field when page goes back (html / javascript)

  Do you know when you use in a form the password field, like this: <input type="password" name="pass"> And you do a GET or POST submit to the same page who have the form and if the user hit back in the browser the password field gets blank. Well thats good, but i need to get blank another form field when the user hit back. Thats because i asking for a captcha and the text field who hold the information entered by the user ramain fill when he hit back, but the captcha image change, and if i dont blank the field the user (sometimes) dont get that he needs to re-enter the captcha. • EditText and Button on the same line with Textiew underneath?

  Hi, I am trying to have an EditText widget next to a button with a text view underneath. The EditText should resize and fill the screen accordingly, while the button's width is always only what it needs to be by setting the width to wrap_content. The layout should not be relative. Below is the code I have so far some of which was found here on StackOverflow. Removing the text view gives the desired appearance for the EditText and button, but when the TextView is added the view goes to ... well. Not sure why the code is not showing? • Where's the rest of the space used in this table?

  I'm using SQL Server 2005. I have a table whose row size should be 124 bytes. It's all ints or floats, no NULL columns (so everything is fixed width). There is only one index, clustered. The fill factor is 0. After inserting a ton of data, sp_spaceused returns the following name rows reserved data index_size unused OHLC_Bar_Trl 117076054 29807664 KB 29711624 KB 92344 KB 3696 KB which shows a rowsize of approx (29807664*1024)/117076054 = 260 bytes/row. Where's the rest of the space? Is there some DBCC command I need to run to tighten up this table (I could not insert the rows in correct index order, so maybe it's just internal fragmentation)?

I guess that it makes no sense to store those on a separate table called advantages, because it will never be used to anything else despite display, and I fill it as too overkill. So I was thinking about creating a varchar255 field on this product table, and allow values to be inserted like: Very nice;Very good;Very cool On a free-form text input field. Then split those on a php array. My question is: Is it out there, a better approach ?

• Dtaset holds a table called "Table", not the table I pass in?

It does not represent the table name I pass in as the parameter TableName and this parameter does not get mutated so I don't know where the name Table comes from. I'd expect the table to be the same as the tableName parameter I pass in? Any idea why this is not so? Thanks

• Need a Concatenating VBA code to prevent memory issue workaround

  My set up: Have 50,000 rows of data. ( My row count will increase in the future. So might as well say I have a full worksheet of 64000+ rows.) All Data is TEXT, no formulas, etc. Column A is open Columns B thru AC contain the Data that needs to be concatenated The Data in the rows once concatenated to Column A will contain 60,000 digits or 6kb in file size. After additional maniuplation each cell will become a file. I have tried concatenating in Excel and I run into memory issues. The memory issue is when I Select and fill down the concatenating function into the worksheet. It crashes at the 8200 +/-row. My system is 2gb of ram, windows xp professional and Excel 2003. Have 4GB of disk space Hoping to find a VBA code that will conserve memory, and not crash like it does in excel. Thank you

  I'm coding up a small Vista/7 sidebar gadget for our web based employee schedule system and I've run into a Javascript problem that my Google-FU can't solve. I can't figure out how to fill in a login form from the client. I'm creating a new ActiveXObject, navigating to the site, but lost as to where to go from here. var conn = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); conn.open("POST", "url", false); conn.send(null); Can access the form from the ActiveXObject based on the form id? I'd also assume I'm going to need to change a few headers for a POST vs. a GET? Thanks for any tips or links to references! I can't seem to find much and JavaScript isn't my forte.

• Forcibly clear memory in java

  I am writing an application in java that I care about being secure. After encrypting a byte array, I want to forcibly remove from memory anything potentially dangerous such as the key used. In the following snippet key is a byte[], as is data. SecretKeySpec secretKeySpec = new SecretKeySpec(key, "AES"); Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("AES"); cipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, secretKeySpec); byte[] encData = cipher.doFinal(data, 0, data.length); Arrays.fill(key, (byte)0); As far as I understand, the last line above overwrites the key with 0s so that it no longer contains any dangerous data, but I can't find a way to overwrite or evict secretKeySpec or cipher similarly. Is there any way to forcibly overwrite the memory held by secretKeySpec and cipher, so that if someone were to be able to view the current memory state (say, via a cold boot attack), they would not get access to this information?

  I have a List component from which I'd like to be able to remove items using drag & drop, but without having a specific target. If you use the mac, the behaviour I'm looking for is something like what the Dock uses; when you drag something out of the bounds of the control it should get an icon that indicates that it'll be deleted (OSX uses a cloud or something?) and then if you release it it will be removed from the list. The question is whether this structure is OK for ORM or I whether should add a processing layer that would create a more convenient structure every time something is inserted into the original DB. (1, 'John Doe') ...I could have three properties: (1, 'phone', '555-55-55'), (1, 'email', '[email protected]), (1, 'type', 'employee') By using ORM I would like to get a "person" object that would have properties "name", "phone", "email", "type". Can Propel do that? How efficient is it? Is it a better idea to create a table with columns "phone", "email", "type" and fill it automatically as new rows are inserted into the properties table?
