  • Auto populate Outlook with other users' calendars

    In Outlook 2007, when in Calendar view, there's a category (group) of calendars on the left hand bar titled "People's Calendars". We're migrating from a system where all employees have access to read and write to all other employees' calendars (via a 3rd party Web Calendar). Is it possible, from an admin level, to auto-populate this People's Calendars category in everyone's Outlook with all the employees in the company, and grant everyone read / write access to everyone else's calendars?     You can, for example, to deploy an an Auto Scaling groups consists of web severs, ELB and DB using AWS CloudFormation (with Chef server): http://aws.amazon.com/cloudformation/aws-cloudformation-templates/ But, you need to initially create a CF template, is it possible to do it only using Chef Server and Knife? We don't want to rely much on the CloudFormation and seems the hosted Chef server at (http://www.opscode.com/) is able to do so. Any opensource alternative? Thanks.

    My BlackBerry Bold (9000) auto-reboots approximately daily, generally while I am listening to podcasts that have been saved to my add-in memory card. Neither the built-in card nor my add-in card are full. An OS update had no effect. I am using the default media player. Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone know how to fix this problem?

  • Auto-hide taskbar in Chrome

    I use the auto-hide taskbar feature and I have problems with Google Chrome when it is maximized: the taskbar will not pop up at mouse hover over the taskbar position (really annoying). I know that Google admits it is a bug and it hasn't been fixed yet, and probably it will never be fixed. My question is if you know a workaround to avoid this issue.

  • Auto re-attach EBS volume on start-up?

    I'm setting up a database server on EC2, and I need to ensure that an EBS volume is automatically attached and is available before the database service starts up. I'm using SMF so I can test whether a particular filesystem is available before starting the db service, so there's no problem from that perspective, however I'm not quite sure how to tell the server to auto-attach the EBS volume during/after boot. What would be the best strategy for this?

  • Exchange 2010 global auto reply - hub transport rules?

    Our office is closing for the holidays, and I want to setup an auto reply if anyone attempts to email. Rather than get everyone to do it individually I want to set a blanket message on the Exchange 2010 server. Looking around here I found hub transport rules can be used, but I don't want to send a rejection message, like in this post I want to keep the message but just say that we won't get back to you fora couple of weeks. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    In our sbs 2003 domain environment, the clients' pc's inactive for default period will be locked out automatically and only Ctrl+ Alt + Del & client password combination will unlock the client's pcs. Recently around 9 months before, all our client's pc's joined the new sbs 2011 but (usually all are locking with Win+L key combination manually)the auto lock feature is not working from the beginning onwards. Now only I am brought up with this issue by clients. Please help me set that option!

    I am using the follwing to auto login and then run file containng a command. C:\path\to\putty.exe -load "[Sessionname]" -l [user] -pw [password] -m C:\path\to\commands.txt Commands.txt contains the following command ps -elf|grep 'sometext' but when I try to do so a new window for putty comes and exits instantly after login. I cannot see the output of command in commands.txt What is the problem;. Is there error in my approach or I need some more command to make the putty window pause for sometime before exiting.

    Hi, I have configured my Postfix server with vacation for a domain. Sending a message to [email protected] causes two events: The message is delivered to the recipient ([email protected]) An auto-reply message is sent to the sender, alerting that [email protected] should be used instead. Everything works well except for one particular drawback: the auto-reply is also sent to the recipient, so it receives two messages in the end. What can I do to avoid that? I'm only using the $TO variable in the custom vacation.msg message. And here is Postfix's master.cf vacation line: autoreply unix - n n - - pipe flags=Rhu user=vacation argv=/usr/bin/vacation -j -m /home/vacation/.vacation.msg -f /home/vacation/.vacation.db vacation I know using the -j is a little bit risky according to man page, but I'm kind of testing here.

I'm open to what the username would be, as long as its intuitive for the user.     With a "normal" (i mean "full") linux distro, it works just fine: sleep $(echo "$[ ($RANDOM % 10 ) ]") ok, it waits for about 0-9 sec but under OpenWRT [not using bash, rather "ash"]: $ sleep $(echo "$[ ($RANDOM % 9 ) ]") sleep: invalid number '$[' $ and why: $ echo "$[ ($RANDOM % 9 ) ]" $[ ( % 9 ) ] $ So does anyone has a way to generate random numbers under OpenWRT, so i can put it in the "sleep"?     If i have xsd file in the following directories src/main/resources/xsd src/main/resources/schema/common src/main/resources/schema/soap How can i instruct the maven jaxb plugin to generate jaxb classes using all schema files in the above directory? I can get it to generate the class files if i specify one of the folders but i cant get i dont know how to include all three folders.     I used to work with rails 2.3.2 before and then I decided to upgrade to version 2.3.4.
