  • HDMI Sound Stops Working

    When not used for a few hours the sound stops working on my HTPC.   • Sharing a session between vBulletin forum and status.net microblogging platform

    Hello, I need to integrate vBulletin 4.0.3 Publishing Suite with status.net microblogging platform. The first thing I need to do is make these 2 to share 1 session so a user logged in vBulletin forums will also be logged in to status.net and vice versa. I have installed different vBulletin components under different subdomains: forums.sample.com - vBulletin forums blogs.sample.com - vBulletin blogs sample.com - vBulletin content management All of these point to the same place (.../public_html/index.php) which includes the respective php file (content.php for sample.com | blog.php for blogs.sample.com | forum.php for forums.sample.com) depending on the $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] I have configured vBulletin to use a single cookie.domain (.sample.com) for all of these 3 domains so visiting different domains doesn't break the session. I also have status.sample.com, which is the subdomain where status.net is installed. The subdomain configuration is different so the document_root is actually a subfolder (.../public_html/status/) in sample.com Now, can you please give me some pointers on how to make all these subdomains share a single session? I'm not sure if it helps, but as I understand, status.net does no custom session handling by default, but it is possible to turn it on so it will start storing session data in a database table called "session". Any tips will be appreciated. Thank you.

    I have iPhone (iPhoneOS 3.x) OpenGL ES app that: can be in landscape/portrait orientation can be with/without status bar shown I do this by changing status bar orientation and hidden state, then updating OpenGL view frame so it won't overlap status bar and setting projection matrix appropriately. OpenGL view is in portrait orientation at all time. View controller's shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation: method returns false always, so the status bar won't start autorotating when app is in landscape mode. The problem I have is that I want to use some other UIViews, like: UIWebView, MFMailComposeView, MPMediaPicker. I could show them as modals, but this this have some drawbacks: views will always show in portrait orientation, even if they support landscape orientation views will not autorotate, even if they support it What I do is I take OpenGL view of the window with removeFromSuperview, set transform to the other view so it will be in portrait/landscape orientation when it shows up and place the other view on the window with addSubview:. This works fine without the status bar, but with it there are some problems I cannot work out: MPMediaPicker is sized to fit under status bar, but it slides under it anyway MFMailComposeView does not show navigation bar until it autorotates on device orientation change Does anyone has an idea how can I get it to work?

So my question is, how to display ABC.com for any URL that includes s0987465.onlinehome.us? Example : s0987465.onlinehome.us/test.aspx?id=100 should display ABC.com or ABC.com/test.aspx?id=100 in the address bar by displaying content generated by s0987465.onlinehome.us?

    I'm working through a problem where I want to select a different static content file based on the incoming Host header. The simple example is a mapping from URLs to files like this: www.example.com/images/logo.gif - \images\logo.gif skin2.example.com/images/logo.gif - \images\skin2\logo.gif skin3.example.com/images/logo.gif - \images\skin3logo.gif I have this working with the following RewriteRules, but I don't like how I have to repeat myself so much. Each host has the same set of rules, and each RewriteCond and RewriteRule has the same path. Could someone help me with the .htaccess needed to do that? The phpfile used to handle the downloads will be called download.php and it will have a get variable called $ref So i need noob.com/games.zip to goto noob.com/download.php?ref=games.zip BUT still retaining the url of noob.com/games.zip Thanks!

However I'm wanting to shorten the path to the JavaScript file (aswell as do some caching) which is why I'm rewriting all JavaScript files via .htaccess to cache.php (which handles the caching). If I access the rewrited file- http://localhost/js/functions.js directly it prints the JavaScript code, as any JavaScript file would - so I'm confused as to what I'm doing wrong... All help is appreciated! :)

  • Member Status: Inquorate in RHEL 5.6

    I've encountered a strange issue. I had to change the time on my Linux RHEL cluster system. I've done it using the following command from the root user: date +%T -s "10:13:13" After doing this, some message appeared relating to <emerg> #1: Quorum Dissolved (however I didn't capture the message completely). In order to investigate the issue I looked at /var/log/messages and I've discovered these errors. Below is the output of few commands I got when tried to investigate the issue, however I don't have enough knowledge to make use of this information.     I've been playing with this for a couple of days, so I'm sure I'm missing something simple. Love tmux. Using it for development and have so many windows I need a better way of distinguishing them in the status bar and in the buffer list. Seeing a list of "bash" and "vim" isn't really helpful at all. And since they're all on the same host - don't care about the hostname right now. I'd like to show the current working directory, and the file being worked on. For example when I view the list of buffers I currently see: (0) 0: vim [100x44] (1 panes) "murph" (1) 1: vim [100x44] (1 panes) "murph" (2) 2: bash- [100x44] (1 panes) "murph" (3) 3: bash* [100x44] (1 panes) "murph" Here's what I'd like to see 0:vim main.py ~/devl/project1 1:vim index.html ~/devl/samples/staticfiles 2:bash ~/devl/sandbox 3:bash ~/.vimrc I'd like to see similar info in the status bar for each individual window. While I am able to get PWD to show up in the status bar of a window, it's only the working directory from where tmux was launched. This isn't any help as I change directories.     i'm attempting to build a tiny (or perhaps not so tiny) formula that will contain numbers between a set min and max, but also loop these numbers so they are not clipped if they are outside of the range. so far, this is what i have. min1 = 10 max1 = 90 val1 = 92 //will make 12, which is what i want since it loops formula: min(max(min1,min(val1,max1)),mod(val1,max1)+min1) however, i'd like it to loop the other direction also, so that if val1 is 5, which is -5 outside of min1, it will become 85. another problem i'm running into is that max1 % max1 != max1 as i want it to, since the max is part of the range trying to be clear, here are some examples of desired output based on a range with looping min1 = 10 max1 = 90 ---------------------------------------------- val1 = 30 //within range: stays as 30 val1 = 90 //within range: stays as 90 val1 = -6 //below range: loops to becomes 84 val1 = 98 //above range: loops to becomes 18 i'd like not to resort to using a series of if/else statements, but one would be fine if it's absolutely required. is that even possible?

    Some details: Webserver: Apache/2.2.13 (FreeBSD) mod_ssl/2.2.13 OpenSSL/0.9.8e OS: FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE This is a FreeBSD Jail. I believe I use the Apache 'prefork' MPM (I run the default for FreeBSD). I use the default values for MaxClients (256) I have enabled mod_status, with "ExtendedStatus On". When I view /server-status , I see a handful of regular requests. I also see over 240 requests from the 'localhost', like these. 37-0 - 0/0/1 . 0.00 1510 0 0.0 0.00 0.00 127.0.0.2 www.example.gov OPTIONS * HTTP/1.0 38-0 - 0/0/1 . 0.00 1509 0 0.0 0.00 0.00 127.0.0.2 www.example.gov OPTIONS * HTTP/1.0 39-0 - 0/0/3 . 0.00 1482 0 0.0 0.00 0.00 127.0.0.2 www.example.gov OPTIONS * HTTP/1.0 40-0 - 0/0/6 . 0.00 1445 0 0.0 0.00 0.00 127.0.0.2 www.example.gov OPTIONS * HTTP/1.0 I also see about 2417 requests yesterday from the localhost, like these: Apr 14 11:16:40 192.168.16.127 httpd[431]: www.example.gov 127.0.0.2 - - [15/Apr/2010:11:16:40 -0700] "OPTIONS * HTTP/1.0" 200 - "-" "Apache (internal dummy connection)" The page at http://wiki.apache.org/httpd/InternalDummyConnection says "These requests are perfectly normal and you do not, in general, need to worry about them", but I'm not so sure. Why are there over 230 of these? Are these active connections? If I have "MaxClients 256", and over 230 of these connections, it seems that my webserver is dangerously close to running out of available connections. It also seems like Apache should only need a handful of these "internal dummy connections" We actually had two unexplained outages last night, and I am wondering if these "internal dummy connection" caused us to run out of available connections. UPDATE 2010/04/16 It is 8 hours later. The /server-status page still shows that there are 243 lines which say "www.example.gov OPTION *". I believe these connections are not active. The server is mostly idle (1 requests currently being processed, 9 idle workers). There are only 18 active httpd processes on the Unix host. If these connections are not active, why do they show up under /server-status? I would have expected them to expire a few minutes after they were initialized.

  • Google Talk chat status permanently available

    I logged into google talk from the blackberry talk application and it set the status as available. Now google talk shows me as being permanently available even though I have logged out of every possible place I can think of (including the phone). I have used the gmail feature that allows one to log out of all other locations. I have logged out and uninstalled the blackberry app. Showing status as online isn't such a problem if the chats weren't being eaten by this unknown app as well. I primarily use google chat from gmail, so if there is a way to get my chat requests properly routed to the gmail window, please let me know.

  • Windows Server 2008R2 IIS7.5, Requests getting 401 status

    We have a web site running in windows server 2008r2 iis7.5 and we are seeing several errors reported from our global error handler saying that "Request Timed Out". I matched up one to the IIS log file and see the request took 135116 (presumably milliseconds) had an sc-status of 401 an sc-sub0status of 0 and an sc-win32-status of 64. 2 requests failed in these way but lots of surrounding requests (1979 successful requests vs 2 fails) for the same user went through perfectly fine- with the same cs-username which makes a 401 seem a little odd. The target of the requests is an ASP.Net web service's web method called by the .net client library- it's called a lot of times per user (3 times per second) to keep a page updated. We're getting some users reportng seeing a freezing effect and I think this may be the cause, any ideas? Peter

  • Gather Outlook/Exchange connection Status responses from script

    I'm trying to figure out a way in-which I can remotely gather Outlook = Exchange Connection stats from systems. I know I can have the users Right-click their Outlook icon in the system notification area, and then choose "Connection Status", but I'd really like to be able to poll this information without having to as the user to do anything. I saw this previous post, and I believe what he did is similar to what I'm trying to do we created a VB application that would pull user PTO information from a backend system and send out status emails to each of the users on a monthly basis but I'm trying to do it to gather the connection information from all my sites for certain parts of the day. Ideally I would like to do this via some sort of VBScript code since that is what I'm most familiar with, but I can work with Powershell too. My environment is all Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 clients.

  • Multi-account Google Apps Calendar Free-busy status?

    I have 3 google apps domain accounts and a personal google account, and until recently, there was little need for the google app's calendars to have any real use; Now however the powers that be finally discovered the smart re-scheduler and the other google tools for managing meetings and schedules; unfortunately I'm now in a position where I've got events notifications all over the place and because each of the calendars do not know about each other, I'm losing all of the advantages of rescheduler / free-busy status. TL;DR, 4 calendars, unified 'free busy' status without having to manually copy every event please.
