    Hi guys Is there a way to check the data sent by a form to a PHP page return to the form page WITHOUT resetting the data sent and show a error? The form has 20 fields and I need to check one of them on a bd. If it fails the user may be redirected to the form page with the form populated and displaying a error message on the field which is 'wrong'. I would like any advice of a technique instead of populating each field using PHP.

Let's say I have a theoretical, base 10, floating point calculator with the following characteristics Only 3 digits for mantissa 1 digit for exponent Sign for mantissa and exponent How would this machine compute the following? 300 + \sum_{i=1}^{100} 0.2 The correct result is 320. The machine's result is 300. But why? Can't get where the 20 goes goes missing... Thanks for your time.

Obviously this is going to cause a (Divide by zero error encountered) problem when base.[XXX_DataSetB] returns 0 which may happen some of the time. Does anyone know how i can deal with this in the most efficient manner?     Has anyone else having an issue with browser caching when using .net? I am using VS 2008 and IE8. And I include all the recommended code to ensure that there is no caching, still 20% of the time, I get cached values. This was never an issue with classic asp. Any ideas?

    I have a container div. Width: 80%, margin-left: 10% and margin-right 10%. The problem is, the container is displaying to the left in all the browsers I check. If I change the value of margin-left to 20%, it looks ok. I will supply code if necessary but is there anything obviously wrong here? Isn't 80 with a margin of 10 on each side correct to center a div? GF

    I came upon a comment on another forum today and one user responding to another suggested that a CS degree is really only good for one through two years at the most, and after that its as if you never had it. Is this really true? is this what employers think? When I did CS I never learned anything new, we learned fundamentals like data structures, algorithms, time complexity, OS fundamentals, language characteristics. Most of this stuff has been around for the past 20 years or so.

When the 11th element is added, it is created a new list with room for 20 elements, and the 10 elements are copied into the new array. This will repeat as until there are no more elements to add, or to a maximum size. Is the List in .NET constructed the same way?

The question is, lets say 5 users create accounts at exactly the same time. Will it return the ID from the database for that users profile that was just created, or will it return the last insert?
