• Customizing the Visual Studio 2010 Toolbar - Open Project

  I'm trying to customize the Standard Toolbar in VS2010 to add Open Project (on the File menu), but it's not available.. Steps: Tools Customize... On the Commands Tab, select Toolbar, then Standard from the list Click Add Command... button Select File in the list and no Open Project ??? Can't seem to find it anywhere else either. Any idea, or how else to add it? Thanks!

  If I have the below sudoers entry usera ALL=(userb) NOPASSWD: /home/userc/bin/executable-file usera ALL=(userb) NOPASSWD: /home/userc/bin/link-to-another-executable-file When I log-on as usera and try running the below commands, it works sudo -u userb /home/userc/bin/executable-file but NOT the one below. sudo -u userb /home/userc/bin/link-to-another-executable-file Sorry, user usera is not allowed to execute '/home/userc/bin/link-to-another-executable-file' as userb on hostname. Any ideas?

• How do I specify a relative local file path in DOS?

  I am using c#.NET 2.0 to execute DOS commands to ftp a file. All works except for 1 thing, in the cmd file I call, it runs a PUT statement. Right now the put statement has a hardcoded local file path. I need to specify a dynamic path. I've tried put %~dp0\myfile.DTL myfile.dtl but it says it can't find the file.

  I'm looking for a way to find what I know will be a unique file, and then change into the directory containing that file. Something along the lines of: find . -name 'Subscription.java' | xargs cd Or: find . -name 'Subscription.java' -exec cd {} \; I know this won't work because it's both trying to cd supplying the entire absolute path, which contains the file, and also because xargs can't do any built in shell commands...but you get the point of what I want to accomplish.

• Is it possible to create a patch using a set of changelists?

  Problem: 2 projects shared trunk and were updating some of the same files. Now one project needs to be released, so a new branch was created from a checkpoint before the projects started. I have a list of just my changelist numbers from the mainline. Using that I can generate a list changed files and diff output using a script with a series of 'p4 describe #' commands. Can I reformat that output and apply it to the new branch somehow?

  Hi, I have these 3 file in my program: sample1.h (method in sample1.cpp are defined here) sample1.cpp (all the actual implementations) demo.cpp (I am using the methods in sampe1.cpp here, and have included sample1.h) Now, I am using GDB to debug and I know the basic commands like "break lineno." or "break methodname". Although ssh works fine for executing commands like ls, pwd, etc editors do not work well with my screen reader and an ssh session. I was wondering if it is possible to mount a Linux folder over ssh so it appears as a windows drive? This way I could edit any files I needed to with accessible software and not have to constantly use SCP to send files back and fourth.

  Hi everyone, I've playing around with linux and noticed that for some mysterious reason commands like '/bin/sh ' just will not work. Each time I'm trying to start a process it yields 'cannot execute binary file' error message. m@sanctuary:~$ sh sed /bin/sed: /bin/sed: cannot execute binary file When I first launch sh and try to execute sed, it succeeds.   Trying to write a deployment script, working on a repo in a different path. The "git-dir" flag seems to work fine for most commands, but not for submodule work. Am I missing a path directive?   I would like to have a quick script listing all active hosts in a LAN, and I am a bit lost. From other posts I figured that this can be done most effectively by polling the DHCP server (in my case a Lancom router) using SNMP. However, I am not familiar with the SNMP commands in PHP. Is snmpwalk() the correct function? Can I get snmpwalk() or any other php function to return an array that contains a list of all live hosts?

  I have a batch file with some commands that I need to run with my installer, but I'd rather a console not appear (in Windows). I'm executing the batch file from a WiX installer, via a custom action. I tried adding an @ECHO OFF to the top of the file, but that didn't seem to do anything. Is there a way that I can run this batch file silently?
