    Hi, I am looking for a good, standard way to generate "output" in my RCP programm and print it. This should work as it works on Windows, Mac OS and Linux with the standard print dialog. I am aware of the Birt project, but I could not find any hints about how to implement it within a RCP programm and how to invoke the standard print dialog and how to pass the Birt generated report to the printer.   • aspect ratio is changed using ffmpeg sameq and codec copy

    i am using ffmpeg to extract clip from mp4 video, i tried with "-acodec copy -vcodec copy" and "-sameq" in both, aspect ration of generated file is changed. ( ffmpeg -sameq -i "input file" "output file" ffmpeg -i "input file" -acodec copy -vcodec copy "outputfile" ) source file is of aspect ratio sar=4:3 dar=4:3 new file is has aspect ratio sar=4:3 dar=1:1 please help me to solve this problem, one weird thing is when i see details in another video tool, it shows me sar=4:3 dar=4:3 of source video but when i use command ffmpeg -i sourcefile, it shows me sar=300:400 dar=1:1 thanks vishal parekh

    Hi, I'm using the Jquery plugin Address to achieve deep linking. The generated urls come out in the format www.example.com/#/tab/image, but what I need is www.example.com/#tab/image.     I'm using Fluent Nhibernate with the following query on DerivedClass which extends BaseClass: var query = Session.CreateCriteria<DerivedClass>().SetLockMode(LockMode.Upgrade) What I want is the lock hints (updlock, rowlock) to be applied to both DerivedClass and BaseClass, but the generated SQL only applies the lock hints to DerivedClass: SELECT * FROM DerivedClass this_ with (updlock, rowlock) inner join [BaseClass] this_1_ on this_.Id=this_1_.Id WHERE ... This is the same situation described in http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HHH-2392 If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

    I am currently watching the 80 minute ASP.NET MVC introduction. Automatically generating views from a model is pretty neat, but it seems to me that that the automatically generated views could be much better. For a start, instead of inputing dates with text boxes, there could be a date control. Additionally, number inputs could be verified client side. There are probably other improvements that could be made as well. Is it possible to automatically generate better views?

    I need a monitoring system, much like ganglia / nagios that is build for the cloud. I need it to support : Adding / removing nodes dynamically. (Node shuts down, dose not imply node failure...) Dynamic node based categorization, meaning node can identify them self as being part of group X (ganglia gets this almost right, but lacks the dynamic part...) Does not require multicast support (generally not allowed in cloud based setups) Plugins for recent cool stuff such as Hadoop, Cassandra, Mongo would be cool. More features include: External API, web interface and co. I've looked at Ganglia, munin and they both seem be almost there (but not exactly). I would also go for reasonably priced Software as Service solution. I'm currently doing research, so Suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you, Maxim

I wonder if it's possible to extract the informations from the hex string in c (without using the openssl library). When I want to log in using a local account, I have to figure out what the computer's name is, and log in using the following syntax: [COMPUTER_NAME]\local_account Now I'm wondering if there is an alias that I can use instead? So instead of logging in using NB-aw35sdds\local_account, I can use something like localhost\local_account.

    Both queries below translates to the same number SELECT CONVERT(bigint,CONVERT(datetime,'2009-06-15 15:00:00')) SELECT CAST(CONVERT(datetime,'2009-06-15 23:01:00') as bigint) Result 39978 39978 The generated number will be different only if the days are different. There is any way to convert the DateTime to a more precise number, as we do in .NET with the .Ticks property? I need at least a minute precision.
