I don't see a coressponding Property like Visibility for ListItem. When I set fontsize="0.1" then application hangs (it goes into infinite loop).

  • msys+mingw - is there installer or at least .tar.lzma/.zip?

    I try to install n'th time the msys+mingw - however with little success. I need the minimal developer system (standard tools such as sed/awk+autotools+gcc) however each time something is not working (for example currently when I try to run autotools m4 goes into some error loop on AC_INIT). I know they stopped providing installer 'for easy update of components' and they are working on something but maybe there is something unofficial.

    Hi, Weird question, but I have a dictionary created with StringComparer.OrdinalIgnoreCase, looks something like this AaA, 10 aAB, 20 AAC, 12 I then use myDictionary["AAA"] to find the value associated with the key, but what I also need to know is what the actual spelling of the key is in myDictionary, e.g. in this case I want it to return AaA. Any way to do this without a loop? Thx.

  • Orphaned SQL Recordsets/Connections with IIS

    I have an IIS 6 site running on Windows 2003 Server x86 with MS SQL2005 Enterprise edition running ASP Classic (no choice). The site runs very fast with about 8000 page views per hour. All of my SQL tables are indexed and I have used the profiler to check my queries, the slowest of which is only about 10-15ms. I have autoshrink disabled, autogrow is set to 250mb, database is 2gb with 800mb of free space. My problem is that every now and then the site will slow to a crawl for no reason. Pages that just have a simple 'connect to databse and increment a hit counter' work ok, but more SQL intensive pages that normally execute in about 60ms take 25,000ms to run. This happens for about 30 seconds and then goes away. I was having an issue with orphan recordsets and connections due to the way I was releasing them. I have fixed this up and the issue is much better, but I am still getting them. Is there a way with permon, etc. to track when SQL Server or Windows closes these Orphan connections? At least if I can monitor the issue I will know if I am making progress or if I am even looking at the right things. Is there anything else I might be missing? Thank you!

  • Is it possible to convert this asp to asp.net?

    I have been tasked with sifting through the worst classic asp spaghetti i've ever come across. The script runs a series of recordsets in sequence, getting 1 record at a time. As the record is built it takes the id and passes it to the next loop, which gets data, and passes on the id to the next loop. It then continues in this manner and builds an unordered list, kicking out the required html as it goes. Here are my efforts so far: have a class delivering data via sqldatareaders and output these to nested repeaters (this failed due to not being able to loop and get the id) Have a datatable populated with all the required data, then datatable.select to filter it out. have 4 datareaders looping and building the ul arraylists (I couldnt get the id's to match up) Please can you suggest the best method (with a bit of sample code if possible) to go about doing this conversion?   • Simaltaneous connections with PHP and SOAP?

    I'm new to using SOAP and understanding the utmost basics of it. I create a client resource/connection, I then run some queries in a loop and I'm done. The issue I am having is when I increase the iterations of the loop, ie: from 100 to 1000, it seems to run out of memory and drops an internal server error. How could I possibly run either a) multiple simaltaneous connections or b) create a connection, 100 iterations, close connection, create connection.. etc. "a)" looks to be the better option but I have no clue as to how to get it up and running whilst keeping memory (I assume opening and closing connections) at a minimum.
