  • Taking a comma separated list and creating a unordered list

    I've got a simple list which is generated by a checkbox list. The generated code is simply this white,blue,red,black I need to use jquery to wrap each of these elements in a < li tag. How do you go through the list and use the comma as a separator? I also will need to delete the comma. Sometime there will be 1 item, sometimes 3, etc. Thanks in advance!

    On Admin Edit Posts (edit.php), how can I filter for a Custom Taxonomy and see posts of ANY status, not just Published? For example, say I have a Custom Taxonomy "Color"... These queries find posts of ANY status: edit.php?category_name=foo edit.php?author=3 edit.php?tag=foo And this query works correctly: edit.php?color=red&post_status=draft But this query finds ONLY Published posts: edit.php?color=red

I've added several System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations validation rules on the entities meta-data, all which work great on the server when I call .SubmitChanges(changeSet) from the client.     http://test.jptgraphics.com/products?cat=APPAREL This works fine in Safari but shows incorrectly in the latest version of Firefox ( was fine in 3.5) and in some versions of IE. In the middle column the product thumbnails drop down below when the 'float: left;' parameter is used. It is as if it is being escaped by a tag from that point forward no 'float: left's work and all the items are centered moving forward.

I want to load a page and display tags under a video and then when a user adds a new tag by entering it into text box to add it to the database and then refresh the part of the page which shows these tags and include the new one which has just been added all without the page being reloaded.     I wrote a base class to help build my controllers more quickly and to remove duplication. It provides some helper methods, default actions and some meta programming to make these things easier to build.     As my understanding on setting hibernate, I need to create table meta data file (person.hbm.xml), include all the fields mapping java object (person.java) If we use stored procedures for all transaction, do we still need the above configuration? It seems hibernate and stored procedures will overlap, We set up the stored procedure because we don't want the to developer know all the field in db. If tables change, then we need update above files. Does it mean if we purely use stored procedure, we should just go for JDBC? If hibernate, we should stay in HQL?

    I can see this web site is somewhat over my head, but I'm having trouble finding an answer. I want to put my header, with links to other pages, over external content. Here's why: My MLM gives me a replicated web site that they maintain. I want to add links to my blog, contact info, even meta tags to the site. I though I had it done by using an iframe. I have my content at the top, and the MLM site shows up in the iframe. (here is the link www.trivanijoanne.com) The problem is that the iframe doesn't resize when the external content changes, and it is confusing for the user to need to scroll up to see the page. Also, the pdf pages don't load inside the iframe. I looked around online and see that iframes are a thing of the past. What should I be using to accomplish this task?

    Input Server - files of type jpg,tif, raw,png, mov come in via FTP Each file needs to be watermarked, if applicable, and meta data added to the file Then each file needs to be moved to an orders directory where an order file is generated and then packaged as zip file and moved to processing server. The file names are of [orderid_userid_guid].[jpg|tif|mov|png...] As I expect the volume to grow I dont want to work on one file at a time and move it through the work flow. I would prefer multi threaded/asynchronous if possible..

  • Relative paths in spring classpath resource

    Hi all, I have a bunch of spring config files, all of which live under the META-INF directory in various subpackages. I have been using import like the following... <import resource="../database/schema.xml"/> So a relative path from the source file. This works fine when I am working with a local build outside of a jar file. But when I package everything up in a jar then I get an error that it cannot resolve the URL resource. If I change the above to an absolute path (with classpath:) then it works fine. Is there any way to use relative paths with ".." in when the configs are packaged in a jar or am I restricted to descending relative paths and absolute paths only? Thanks.

Should the characters be replaced for their corresponding named entities (e.g. &aacute;, etc)? Should the doc type and the xml:lang attribute be set to English? I know I can check the W3C recommendation but I am asking more from a practical point of view.

    This page worked like a charm for years... enter the correspondng user id and password and you would be redirected to your directory. Now suddenly, all attempts to log in - valid or otherwise - result in the page remaining static... no message, no redirect, nothing.     Hi, I've got a problem with type coercion in a Java/Hibernate/BlazeDS/Flex-Setup. First of all, my classes look like this: --- JAVA --- Interface I (Abstract) Class A implements I Class B extends A --- ActionScript --- Interface I Class A implements I Class B extends A I got RemoteClass-Meta-Tags in all ActionScript-Classes/Interfaces I, A and B. Package structure and Class/Interface names are exactly the same. Now here's the problem: My Java Service successfully retrieves objects of class B from my database via Hibernate. I got another class C which has a member property of interface type I, so it should be possible to assign an object of type B. But for some reason i get the following error message: TypeError: Error #1034: cannot convert Object@28b44a89 to package.name.I I checked the Java object type in the service and it is of type B and seems to be totally fine. Why can't the object of type B be assigned to a member variable of type I? This is driving me nuts. Thanks in advance.

    (iMacros For Firefox 6.6.5.0; Firefox 3.6.3; Windows XP Pro SP3 w/all updates) I made an iMacro to select "load next 25" (comments) on a web page (CNN.COM). Unfortunately, iMacros doesn't appear to do looping (do the above until that string doesn't appear on the page anymore - i.e. all the comments are loaded). I tried putting {!iloop} in the TAG command, and it didn't work - then I read it wouldn't. So I tried the example at http://wiki.imacros.net/Loop_after_Query_or_Login I can't find any information on how to actually run the script in the above example. I searched Google and found VBS scripting is handled with .wsh files with Windows XP Pro. (The examples and other references there say Windows does VBS natively, so I looked up how with Google.) So I made the following .wsh file (modified the above example): Option Explicit Dim iim1, iret 'initialize iMacros instance set iim1 = CreateObject ("imacros") iret = iim1.iimInit() do while not iret < 0 iret = iim1.iimPlay("Load All CNN Comments") loop ' tell user we're done msgbox "End." I put the .wsh file in the ...\iMacros\Macros directory - with the iMacro "Load All CNN Comments.iim" When I run the .wsh file (by just double clicking on it's icon - I created it with Notepad, and Windows gave it an icon for that file type - it's executable) I get the message from "Windows Script Host" - "There is no script file specified." I wasn't actually expecting it to work, as I don't see how Windows would know to call iMacros to run the iim macro. It would be nice if there was a simple, COMPLETE, example of how to use a VBS script with iMacros, that isn't bogged down with unnecessary complication like filling in a form, loading multiple pages, etc. I can't find ANY example. So what do I need to do to get this to work? I just installed iMacros yesterday, because I am constantly having the problem that there are hundred of comments after a CNN.com article, and loading 25 more at a time until they are all on the page makes it impractical to read any replies to my comments. It would also be nice if I could run the Macro from Firefox, rather than by double clicking on some file somewhere. Thanks for any help.
