I want to make the contenteditable="true" or contenteditable="false" on that toggle function. I've it would be easy if I would have to change a class or ID. • C# WPF: Combobox isn't jumping down the list as I type when I use a multiconvert on it.

  Basically, I have a combobox that is built by doing multibinding (multiconverter) for the memberdisplaypath. The problem is if the combobox is selected and I start typing, it doesn't jump down the list. Doesn't it go by what's displayed in the combobox for typing? That is, if the combobox is setup like so: //value/display (please disregard how weird the numbering is...) //ref - the value is built upon an observablecollection of a class. ref / "" ref / "10 - Very much agree." ref / "15 - Somewhat agree." ref / "19 - No weight." ref / "23 - Somwhat disagree." ref / "33 - Very much disagree." How i can maintain the current state of UIWebView. • Why the current working directory changes when use the Open file dialog in XP?

  I have found an strange behavior when use the open file dialog in c#.   What I want to do: The report parameter that the user can select from is a subset of the data available in a dimension. I have a query to retrieve this subset and it works fine. I am then trying to use the selection as a filter in a dataset. In the dataset properties, you can add a parameter based on the ones you have specified on the report, but when you look in the filters pane, there seems to be no way to select this. If I try and select something in there, it creates a whole new parameter and dataset. How can I get a dataset to consume and filter by a parameter that the user has selected?

I want to make it so that when I change the value of the country, a new drop down list appears below it, showing a list of companies whose country of origin is the particular selected company. The thing is that I do not want to rely too much on controller actions because I'm using it in a Template Helper which is a "headless" view. Can I bind it somehow?

• Using PHP variables inside SQL statements?

  For some reason I can't pass a var inside a mysql statement. I have a function that can be used for multiple tables. So instead of repeating the code I want to change the table that is selected from like so, function show_all_records($table_name) { mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $table_name"); etc, etc... } And to call the function I use show_all_records("some_table") or show_all_records("some_other_table") depending on which table I want to select from at the moment. But it's not working, is this because variables can't be passed through mysql statements?

  Hello I'm trying to develop a function that can sort through a string that looks like this: Donny went to the {park|store|{beach with friends|beach alone}} so he could get a breath of freash air. What I intend to do is search the text recursively for {} patterns where there is no { or } inside the {}, so only the innermost sandwiched text is selected, where I will then run a php to array the contents and select one at random, repeating process until the whole string has been parsed, showing a complete sentence. I just cannot wrap my head around regular expressions though. Appreciate any help!

• Shell Extension: DragQueryFile returns at most 16 (in Windows 7)

  I've writtten a shell extension (guided by The Complete Idiot's Guide to Writing Shell Extensions) which worked as it should until I upgraded to Windows 7(32bit). Now, the function DragQueryFile UINT uNumFiles = DragQueryFile(hDrop,0xFFFFFFFF,NULL,0); returns the right number of selected files until the number is above 16. Then always 16 is returned. I've tested it in XP(32) and Vista(32), there it works, in Windows7 (32/64) it doesn't. Any ideas? Thanks.

• Set bold rows in a QTreeView

  I have a custom subclass of a QTreeView in a pyqt application. I'm trying to give the user the ability to highlight and "lowlight" (for lack of a better term) rows. Highlighted rows should have bold text and (optionally) a different background color. Any ideas? I'm considering StyleSheets as an option, but have so far been unable to get that to work. If I set the QTreeView's stylesheet: self.setStyleSheet("QTreeView::item:selected {border: 1px solid #567dbc;}") I can't figure out how to manually enable 'states' that would keep only the desired rows at a particular state. If I try setting an individual item's stylesheet: #modelIndex is a valid QModelIndex modelIndex.internalPointer().setStyleSheet() I get a segfault. I'm not convinced stylesheets are the way to go, I'm open to all ideas. Thanks!

  I have an ASP.NET 2.0 ListView control (aka:parent) and configured inside this ListView I have another ListView (aka:child). For each row the parent has there is potentially a child ListView control which can have 1-3 rows. Each row has two checkboxes (a select checkbox and a deny checkbox). I need to process these checkboxes in JavaScript so that if one select is chosen on any of the rows all other select checkboxes are unchecked AND the deny checkbox for that row only is unchecked. The rows which were NOT selected CAN have the deny checkboxes checked. What is the best approach to this?

• Can Visual Studio 2010 do ".inc" file syntax highlighting?

  Can Visual Studio 2010 be configured to do syntax highlighting on ".inc" files? We have numerous large projects with tons of these ".inc" files (asp files) and so changing the file extension to ".asp" is not an option. All I want Visual Studio 2010 to do is treat these ".inc" files just like ".asp" files when it comes to syntax highlighting. I've tried "Open With..." and selected the HTML Editor, which is the ".asp" default, but that did not work. I tried about every other editor in the list and none of them worked. I know Notepad++ (among others) can do this, but I would prefer this be done in Visual Studio 2010 - using another IDE or text editor is not the answer I'm looking for here. Many many thanks to anyone who knows how to configure VS 2010 to do this, I've wasted soooo much time looking for a way to do this. Even registry hacks are welcome. Thanks for any feedback you can provide!

  Hi All, I'm currently working with CKEditor (http://ckeditor.com/). I'm looking for: 1) an exhaustive list of commands available by default via 'execCommand'. 2) a mechanism by which to set styles (as in the same way the FONT and SIZE combo boxes do it). I saw the function called 'setStyle' in the documentation, however it seems to require an exact element. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do so based on the selection -- there is no way to use ID or CLASS, as the selected portions have none. I've posted to the forums but they don't seem to be terribly active as far as replies are concerned. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Best.

• DropdownList autoposback after client confirmation

  I have a dropdownlist with the autopostback set to true. I want the user to confirm if they really want to change the value, which on post back fires a server side event (selectedindexchanged). I have tried adding an onchange attribute "return confirm('Please click OK to change. Otherwise click CANCEL?';") but it will not postback regardless of the confirm result and the value in the list does not revert back if cancel selected. When I remove the onchange attribute from the DropdownList tag, the page does postback. It does not when the onchange attribute is added. Do I still need to wire the event handler (I'm on C# .Net 2.0 ). Any leads will be helpful. Thanks!

• WPF - Pausing the UI Thread?

  I have a tab control with draggable tabs. When the mouse is released it removes the selected tab from the tabControl and adds it to its new location. My problem is that the TabControl draws itself after removing the tab, and then again when adding the tab so there is a very noticeable flicker that shows the tab behind the tab being moved. Is there a way I can pause the UI thread so the tab control does not redraw until both the Remove and the Insert operations finish? Or perhaps some other alternative way of rearranging the tab items? The Drag/Drop operation exists in a separate code file as an Attached Property

• C# Changing a constant

  I have inherited a small windows form based program written in C# that uses a 'constant' (See below), I need to modify this program so 'PROPERTY_NAME' can be "jobs" and "careers". private const string PROPERTY_NAME = "jobs"; I'm guessing a constant isn't designed to change so should I need to change this. The line above is set once at the top of a class file and then PROPERTY_NAME is used throughout that file. On the main form I would like to add two radio buttons 1 called 'jobs' and one called 'careers' and then change the PROPERTY_NAME in the class file based on which is selected. Would I need to pass the radio button status to the method in the class file? I recall reading that I can't simply read the radio button value from the class file. Many thanks for your advice. Jane

• Flex Datagrid File Download old value

  Hi, We use a AIR client and WAMP server. Got a weird issue with Flex datagrid. When I download an image by double clicking on a datagrid row, the file gets downloaded correctly. But when I go on to select another row for download, even though the correct parameters are being passed, it again prompts download of old file. Upon cancelling that and trying again, it picks up the selected row. • Using set with values from a table

  I'm writing a database of all DVDs I have at home. One of the fields, actors, I would like it to be a set of values from an other table, which is storing actors. So for every film I want to store a list of actors, all of which selected from a list of actors, taken from a different table. Is it possible? How do I do this? It would be a set of foreign keys basically. I'm using a MySQL database for a Django application (python), so any hint in SQL or Python would be much appreciated. • Interface Builder "Simulate Interface" not working

  I am using Interface Builder to play around with some ideas. I never noticed that there is a "Simulate Interface" feature which apparently will render the nib in the iPhone simulator. So, I created a view, put one component in there (a Segmented Control), saved it, selected "Simulate Interface", the simulator launched but... nothing rendered in the simulator. Just a black screen. I thought maybe my nib wasn't complete enough, so I've tried it with all of my old nibs and I'm having the same problem with all of them. None of them render in the simulator at all. Is there some trick that I'm missing?
