• Selecting MXML siblings with actionscript, like javascript?

  I'm trying to get the sibling of an mxml tag similar to the way siblings are selected in javascript. Is this possible in Actionscript? • Why does Tomcat 6 hang when I shut it down?

  I have Tomcat 6.0.24 64 bit installed on two Windows Server 2008 boxes as a Window's service. I use the Tomcat Monitor application to start and stop Tomcat. Randomly on both boxes, the server will not shutdown when the Stop Service option is selected. Both Start Service and Stop Service remain grayed out until I open a task manager and kill tomcat6.exe. This also happens with Tomcat 6.0.20 installed on these boxes, however it does not happen on my 32 bit Windows 7 machine. What is causing this?

• Enable Datepicker only when first field has a value

  Right now, the End Date selection is disabled. I want to only enable this when a Start Date is selected. if( $('#datepicker1').val().length === 0) { $('#datepicker2').datepicker("disable"); } else { $('#datepicker2').datepicker("enable"); } This clearly does not work. If I insert value = 'random date' into my first input field, it works fine. I'm not too sure on how do this. Clearly not as easy as I had hoped. My other problem, or hope, is to disable the dates including and before the first selection. You know, pick Start Date, and every date before and said date for the next picker would be disabled. But that is a whole other problem.

  I have three files named like: AjxDm.php db_test website.php What I am trying to do is AjxDm.php in this file I click and I am using Ajax.Request and it directed me to the db_test.php. In this file I am retrieving a value from the database and I assign the value into a dropdown. Again when I try to select one of the options in the dropdown it is direceting me to the Website.php using Ajax.Request with the dropdown selected value and retrieve data from database and display. The problem is that when I call from AjxDm.php to Db_test it works but when I select option in db_test.php it doesn't find a JavaScript function which direct me to the website.php. What can I do to make it work?

• C# PropertyGrid drag drop

  I'm trying to implement drag/drop support to a propertygrid in C# using VS2005 (.NET 2.0). The propertygrid can handle the dragenter etc. events, but there doesn't seem to be a way to get the griditem under the pointer during a drag event. The best I've been able to get so far is to use the selectedgriditem property to retrieve a custom propertydescriptor and set the value, but this requires a grid item to already be selected before starting the drag/drop operation. Has anyone had any luck with implementing this? Thanks :-)

It also create ISimpleDOMNode_i.c and ISimpleDOMDocument_i.c but there is no tlb file what is the wrong ?

When I click a button, I need to check the label, versus all the list items to find the matching one, when it finds that I need to assign the corresponding number. • jQuery jPicker path issues when used in WordPress Theme Options

  Anyone with experience using jPicker colorpicker in a WordPress Custom Theme options panel. I believe that the default path for the jPicker resources is /jPicker/ relative to the location the js file appears, however, I'm not seeing the picker.gif icon, so I tried changing the path in the js file like so... images:{clientPath:"../wp-content/themes/myTheme/images/" Everything else appears to be working at first load. My bound input field's background color is the same as the currently selected color. However, the picker.gif icon is missing. Where it should appear, I've just got a 2px wide by 20px tall color element (looks like a div perhaps).

  I have a NSArrayController bound to a NSTableView. With this I have the typical Add/Remove buttons. While Adding an item is very straight forward (I call a method, create an object with default values and add it) I have problems deleting objects from the controller. I know I can do this the easy way when connecting the button with the remove action from the ArrayController. But this is not what I want. I need to remove the object manually because I have some additional code to process. Anway, removing objects seems far more complcated then I expected. It already tried: NSArray *items = [doToItemsArrayController selectedObjects]; [doToItemsArrayController removeSelectedObjects:items]; or NSIndexSet *iSet = [doToItemsArrayController selectionIndexes]; [doToItemsArrayController removeSelectionIndexes:iSet]; None of them seems to work. How do I remove the selected Object from an NSArrayController with Objective-C code?

  How and with what software do major television companies display on-screen graphics during their programs? For example: On ESPN, how do they produce the news ticker on the bottom (both graphically and from a source code point of view), create and display the scores of sports, and update and show selected stats on the fly?   Lets say i have an activity with InArgument<int> ProductId I'd like to expose in the activity designer a combobox to show all Products and the user can select a product. I can show the list of product in the combo no problem. But how do I bind the selected product to the InArgument<int> of my custom activity? I suppose I need some kind of ValueConverter? • Creating own LiveWallpaperPreview?

  Hi, I would like to create my own LiveWallpaperPreview, i.e. to show the user a fullscreen preview of what the selected Live Wallpaper looks like (without the "Set Wallpaper" and "Settings" button that the built-in preview has). Rebuilding the LivePicker-Class from 2.1 (android.git.kernel.org) works fine, so I am able to select a wallpaper to be previewed, but the actual LiveWallpaperPreview-Class tries to import the following private Interfaces/Classes: import android.service.wallpaper.IWallpaperConnection; import android.service.wallpaper.IWallpaperService; import android.service.wallpaper.IWallpaperEngine; import android.service.wallpaper.WallpaperSettingsActivity; Is there any way to display a LiveWallpaper in my app without resorting to using the private APIs (which I obviously don't want to do)?   I have need to write an application which uses a speech recognition engine -- either the built in vista one, or a third party one -- that can display a word or phrase, and recognise when the user reads it (or an approximation of it). I also need to be able to switch quickly between languages, without changing the language of the operating system. The users will be using the system for very short periods. The application needs to work without the requirement of first training the recognition engine to the users' voices. It would also be fantastic if this could work on Windows XP or lesser versions of Windows Vista. Optionally, the system needs to be able to read information on the screen back to the user, in the user's selected language. I can work around this specification using pre-recorded voice-overs, but the preferred method would be to use a text-to-speech engine. Can anyone recommend something for me?
