    Hi All, I have a simple WPF form with a <Grid> declared on the Form. In this Grid I then have a bunch of Rows: <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" MinHeight="30" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" Name="rowToHide"/> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" MinHeight="30" /> </Grid.RowDefinitions> So basically the row with the name "rowToHide" has a few input fields in it, and now I want to hide this row as I don't need these fields. Its simple enough to just set all items in the Row to Visibility = Hidden, but the Row still takes up space in the Grid. So need to do something like setting Height = 0 or something. But that didn't seem to work. You can think of it like this: You have a form, in there we have a drop down saying "Payment Type", and if the person selects "Cash", then hide the row containing the Card details. And it isn't an option to start the form with this hidden already. Thanks everyone!

My problem is it works fine except for the first row for the first time. When I click on it, it doesn't fire the dgData_RowDetailsVisibilityChanged event. Also, when I click on second row, firstly first row fires the event and then the second row fires it and shows the nested grid. Please help.

  • Getting rid of scroll bar for position: absolute inside of position:relative inside of overflow:auto

    Hey guys, my first question here on stack overflow. Trying to get something pretty simple to work, I'm sure I'm missing something quite obvious. Still getting used to the "standard" css, too many years working with non-functional ones! Heh. So, sample of what I'm doing: <div style="overflow: auto; border: 1px solid"> hello <div style="position: relative; z-index: 99999; top: 0px; left: 0px;"> <div style="z-index: 99999; overflow-y: hidden; position: absolute; overflow: hidden; height: 200px; left: 0; auto: 0"> <ul> <li >New</li> <li >Old</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> In essence: The first div is a container, that I would like to automatically overflow as content is added. Inside of that container, I have a popup menu, which I have simplified here. The popup menu appears (as it should) directly under "hello". My problem, however, is that instead of the popup menu "coming out" of the parent, as would be expected by the absolute position, it is actually causing a scrollbar to appear on the parent. I know that if I take otu the "position: relative" it works, but then it no longer appars where I want it (directly under the previous element). What am I missing here?   • Show/Hide RichFaces component onclick client-side? (without AJAX)

    I'm looking for a way to show/hide an arbitrary RichFaces component. In this case, I have a <rich:dataTable> that contains several rows. Each row needs to have it's own, independent Show/Hide link, such that when you click "Show details", two things happen: The "Show details" link is re-rendered as "Hide details" The associated detailsColumn is displayed. Furthermore, detailsColumns should be hidden by default (effectively rendered="true" to the client but hidden with style="display: none;"). I don't want to write my own JavaScript functions if it's not absolutely necessary. I also don't want to have a server-side bean keep track of which detailColumns are being displayed, and subsequently re-render everything over AJAX: this should be purely client-side behavior. I'm not sure how to accomplish that.   • jQuery call not working after Isotope filter is implemented

    I'm currently using the isotope plugin for a fluid layout, I can successfully filter the content, but after the filters have been called, the rest of my jQuery calls fail to work. Bear with me, I'm still new to jQuery but here's my code: jQuery(document).ready(function(){ jQuery(".pics-hidden").hide(); jQuery('.pics').click(function() { jQuery('#div'+jQuery(this).attr('rarget')).addClass('pics').removeClass('pics-hidden').delay(300).fadeIn(100); jQuery('#projectimages').isotope('reloadItems').isotope(); return false; }); var $container = $('#projectimages'); $container.isotope({ itemSelector: '.pics', animationEngine: 'css', masonry: { columnWidth: 4 } }); $('#menu a').click(function(){ var selector = $(this).attr('data-filter'); $container.isotope({ filter: selector }); return false; }); }); The filter works fine, as does the ('pics') click function, BUT after the filter has been called, the ('.pics') click function now fails to work. Is there a reason for this? Or a way to solve it? Tried all sorts, nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    I am going trough the OWASP Top 10 list of 2007 and 2010. I stumbled upon Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) this is often called session riding as you let the user usee his session to fulfill your wishes. Now a solution to this is adding a token to every url and this token is checked for every link. For example to vote on product x the url would be: 'http://mysite.com?token=HVBKJNKL' This looks like a solid solution to because a hacker can not guess the token. But I was thinking of the following scenario(I do not know if it is possible): You create a website with an hidden iFrame or div. After that you can load my website in it either using just the normal iFrame or ajax. When you have my website loaded hidden inside your website, and the user has a stored session, the following can be done. You can retrieve the token from the URLS, and still do all the actions needed. Is it possible to do something like this. Or is it not possible to do this cross domain.

  • jQuery slideToggle() Internet Explorer problem and jumpy animation

    Hey yaa! I have a big problem with my jquery. I finally made it that my slidetoggle runs in firefox. The animation is a little bit jumpy in the end of the animation. I read a lot of workarounds, but somehow nothing helped me really. Perhaps anyone of you can rescue me out of this dilemma. The other bigger problem is that the hidden divs are unfortunately shown directly on start in internet explorer. I tested it in IE6&7. And the sliding effect is also very strange. Does anyone of you know if I have to give additional styling for IE??? Here is my site I am working on: http://www.haus-plan.de/%5F01%5FHausplan/ the red titles are slideable in the content area and the two Slide words on the right panel. I noticed that Internet Explorer runs the first Slide word on the right panel correctly. Here its div is first hidden and only shows up when we click and let it slide down. But for the other divs they are shown in the beginning which is very sh..... Please help meee....
