  • Single page Web App in Java framework or examples?

    Has anyone seen an example or done the following in Java: http://duganchen.ca/single-page-web-app-architecture-done-right/ That is a design a single page web app that will work with Google SEO with out massive violation of DRY using Java technologies?     I want to ignore all directories "_notes" throughout a repository. _notes is generated by dreamweaver and is not part of the project itself, but these directories are scattered throughout the project. Somehow ^_notes$ is not doing the job in .hgignore ... Do I have to direct .hgignore to each and every directory "_notes" or does it do it recursively? I am not quite sure about the man pages

A man in the United States popped out to his local petrol station to buy a pack of cigarettes - only to find his card charged $23,148,855,308,184,500. That is $23 quadrillion (£14 quadrillion) - many times the US national debt.* In hex it's $523DC2E199EBB4 which doesn't appear terribly interesting at first sight. Anyone have any thoughts about what programming error would have caused this?

    i wanted to submit a multi-threaded job to the cluster network i'm working with - but the man page about qsub is not clear how this is done - By default i guess it just sends it as a normal job regardless of the multi-threading - but this might cause problems, i.e. sending many multi-threaded jobs to the same computer, slowing things down. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? thanks. The batch server system is sge.

    We sending data over UDP from the iPhone, sometimes, but not always, in response to our first send() of UDP data, we are getting back a -1 return code and errno set to 1 (EPERM / operation not permitted). The EPERM result for send(), sendto() and sendmsg() is not documented in the man pages as a return result from those functions. Has anyone out there encountered this and might be able to shed some light on what this errno value means in this context?

    What is the safest communication method between two applications on the same machine, both Java and C/C++ clients with a Java server. Are SSL sockets safe enough or they can be broken by "man in the middle" attacks? As i saw in the documentation and code samples, JSSE retrieves private/public keys and certificates from keystore files which a malicious user can see. The only thing that you can hide in the code is the password used to unlock the keystores. Can hackers retrieve that password?
