So i have entered into my DOS prompt and i choose the DISK TYPE and i choose external DD and i tried to CLEAN it , Immediately my external HD is asked for FORMAT and i rejected it .   I've been using Mac OS X's VNC service to connect remotely from a Windows XP box, via TightVNC. Everything seems to work normally, except that frequently - anywhere from ten seconds to ten minutes - the connection locks up entirely, without any sort of error message. The only solution is to reconnect and wait for it to lock up again. How can this be fixed permanently?

• Why Is My Media Card Reader not working in Windows-7?

  I have a Dell 2407FWP monitor that has a built in media card reader and USB ports. The USB Ports work fine but the media card reader shows up in Devices as a USB 2.0 device with the error that it can't start. The card reader worked fine under XP Pro SP3 so I'm at a bit of a loss.   I am running windows XP, I have a MS Natural Erganomic Keyboard 4000 v1.0, now and again the Ctrl button will stick (not physically), usually in the process of changing to a different window. It happens around 6 or 7 times a day. Really annoying. I've changed Keyboards (same type). Anyone know how to prevent this from happening?

Is there any ftp program, like in regular managed hostings, to just upload files with? I was thinking about proftpd, but don't have a clue how to get it to work. I am using my home-laptop with windows xp to command the VPS. Thanks

I downloaded and install Smartware software in both my desktop (windows xp) and laptop (Windows 7) but in both case the s/w is not able to detect the external hard disc. • Win7 finding location of installed program

  Usually on windows XP if I wanted to know the location of an installed program I would just click 'Properties' and it would show where the executable is located. On windows 7 I do the same thing and I get this: How can I find out where programs are located based on the shortcut? I did however notice that for some programs it does show a shortcut under the 'Target', but not in the case with iTunes for example.
