  Is it possible to deceive SQL Server to return a different date on GetDate() without actually changing the machine date? This would be great, since we have a database with old data and I'm trying to test some queries that use getdate(). I can change my machine date but that brings some other problems with other applications... Any tips? Thanks!

The time macro returns the value of the evaluated function, which makes it great to use it inline. However I want to automatically measure the runtime under specific circumstances. is there a function which returns the elapsed time in some library to hep with this benchmarking?

Do I need to pass pointers, references, or non-pointer and non-reference values? I remember in Java there are no such issues since we pass just the variable that holds reference to the objects. It would be great if you could also explain where to use each of those options.

• Changing UI color in Eclipse

  I'm aware of this topic: I've used it to change most of the editor colors, and that's great. But that wasn't enought, there's still too much white (and I need to change it because it hurts my eyes). I've searched in the preferences (both using Eclipse itself and editing the files) for instances of while (255,255,255) and changed them all. • IE 8 jquery 1.4.2 event error

  I am using Xinha editor with Jquery 1.4.2 and cannot use the UI components in IE 8. Other browsers work great! include the following scripts: jstree also throws a 'data not included' exception (which stumps me since it works without including the xinha library) Is there a way to find the conflict with Xinha and either work-around or resolve it for IE 8 using 1.4.2 jquery thanks please let me know if you need more info.

Measure the difference in run-time between the two ways." Great pity he never explaines how to measure such things. Then you remember http://super.duper.domain.example Oh. So then you think, okay, find the last period, go back a word and get everything before!   Hi everyone, I've playing around with linux and noticed that for some mysterious reason commands like '/bin/sh ' just will not work. Each time I'm trying to start a process it yields 'cannot execute binary file' error message. m@sanctuary:~$ sh sed /bin/sed: /bin/sed: cannot execute binary file When I first launch sh and try to execute sed, it succeeds. I'm starting to loose my wits. It would be just great, if somebody could help me. Thank you.
