• Weird graphics in matplotlib when changing the scale

  Hi, I get a histogram picture in matplotlib which looks great. Now I realize I need a log scale on the y-axis, so I just add to the code: ax.set_yscale('log') but then, the histogram bars dissapear and I only get some sparse points, do you know waht could be the reason? Thanks

  I had limited success myself. I was able to hype a few persons about Scala. But in fact none of them made a meaningful effort to try to switch (usually from Java). I would like to read both success and failure stories here. Both long tries and short ones. My goal is to find ways of presenting Scala to another person, friend, co-worker (not an audience) that will make them want to use this great language.

The app is working great but the one problem I am having is that I have no way of telling whether bonjour is choosing wi-fi or bluetooth to make the connection. I would like to allow the user to be able to choose which they prefer. Also, is there way to programmatically tell is the device's bluetooth is on?

  "([\"'])(?:\\\\?+.)*?\\1" I came up to this regexp to match all quoted strings.. It seems to work great... The problem is how to match the text that isnt inside quotes.. The inverse -negative somehow... I read the documentation and (?!(([\"'])(?:\\\\?+.)*?\\1)) doesnt work

  Is there any reason to not include pdb files in an installer? I have C++ logging functionality that walks the stack, and reports line numbers and file names. It would be great if my customers could send me logs with this information. However, they would need the pdb files. Is there any downside (other than installer package size) to deploying them?

Would I need to set a delegate to call the action I need? Is there a way to catch the event in my main window controller class? I already implemented my shortcuts and they work great in firefox but not in safari. I can't for example do anything on alt+return - its not getting catched. I've looked around and there's not really much info on setting up the headers, librarys and frameworks. I just need to know where to extract them from the sdk and where to place them on my iPhone.
