  • Using one mixin from LESS within another mixin

    I am trying to use a mix that calculates the base line height in another that contains my base font styles. Each time I try to compile, I get an error.   • Unable to create more then one gadget in GateIn portal

    Repost from: Jboss GateIn Discussion. Please refer that post for screenshots. Here what happens when I try to create 2 gadgets: I press "Create a new gadget" Leave content as is and press "Save". As the result gadget gets name "CHANGME" and there is no way to change it. Press "Create a new gadget" and change title to "hello2 ...." Press "Save". New gadget replaces previous gadget in the left menu and gets the same name "CHANGME" with no way to change it Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong?

  • System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization Namespace Fine in One Class but Not in Another

    Hi. I'm getting this error The type or namespace name 'DataVisualization' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Windows.Forms' (are you missing an assembly reference?) Here is my using section of the class: using System; using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.Borders3D; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.ChartTypes; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.Data; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.Formulas; using System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting.Utilities; namespace myNamespace { public class myClass { // Usual class stuff } } The thing is that I am using the same DataVisualization includes in another class. The only thing that I can think that is different is that the classes that are giving this missing namespace error are Solution Items rather than specific to a project. The projects reference them by link. Anyone have thoughts on what the problem is? I've installed the chart component, .Net 3.5 SP1, and the Chart Add-in for Visual Studio 2008. UPDATE: I moved the items from Solution Items to be regular members of my project and I'm still seeing the same behavior. UPDATE 2: Removing the items from the Solution Items and placing them under my project worked. Another project was still referencing the files which is why I didn't think it worked previously. I'm still curious, though, why I couldn't use the namespace when the classes were Solution Items but moving them underneath a project (with no modifications, mind you) instantly made them recognizable. :\

  • file upload working in one and not the other help

    Hi All, I have a web application which has 2 different versions deployed. 1 is a ASP.Net web forms version and the other is an ASP.Net MVC version I have a File Upload page which dynamically creates a directory folder for the target location of the file to be uploaded to. The application is using Forms Authentication for outside users and Integrated Windows Authentication for inside the network users. I have an issue where a user can upload a file in the ASP.Net Web Forms version fine. But when the same user tries to upload the file in the MVC version the user gets a File.IO permission error. Here's a kicker: I can upload the same file in both versions. The user is in a remote location but I believe they're still inside the network because they can work on the other parts of the application just fine. Possible clues: In the event log there's an info that says Event code:4005 Forms authentication failed for the request. Reason: Ticket supplied was invalid. What would be your initial thoughts on why this is happening? Thanks, Rod.

    Hey I have an .htaccess file with the following code: <Files ~ "item|profile|category|search"> ForceType application/x-httpd-php </Files> What I want is to add a re-write rule as well which changes any body who navigates tot he site ot use http://www.domain.com sintead of http://domain.com I have the code stored somewhere else for it however I can't seem to just place in the file as it corrupts?     I am passing variable to template in web.py and have the same condition in some places. Like this: $if myvar=="string1": $passed argument1 ............ $if myvar =="striung2": $passed argument2 If say myvar is "string1" and I pass passed = "AAA" then I have AAA argument1 on my page, but the other if statements get replaced by empty string? How to avoid that? I.e. how to leave other statements intact?

  • NSKeyedUnarchiver chokes when trying to unarchive more than one object

    We've got a custom matrix class, and we're attempting to archive and unarchive an NSArray containing four of them. The first seems to get unarchived fine (we can see that initWithCoder is called once), but then the program simply hangs, using 100% CPU. It doesn't continue or output any errors.     Hello! I write a simple OLAP viewer for my web-site. Here are the classes (abstract example): Employee { ID; Name; Roles[]; //What Employee can do } Order { Price; Employee Manager; Employee Executive; //Maybe wrong english. The person which perform order } Employee can be Manager and Executive in the order at the same time. This means that Employee role is not fixed. I have to group orders by employees and finally get IGrouping with Employee key. So .GroupBy(el=new {el.Manager,el.Executive}) is not allowed. I considered some tricks with IEqualityComparable, but found no solution. If somrbody will help I'll be vary glad, thank you.

  • Building two executables in one project

    Hi, I've a project that must produce two executables: the main application and an executable that is called by a separate process. I've created the second file in Xcode and added a second target of type Cocoa Shell Tool. I can now build the second executable but when I try to build my project normally I get an error saying there's two executables present: ld: duplicate symbol _main in <path>/SecondExecutable.o and <path>/main.o (<path> was added by me to protect the innocent and their intelectual property). How can I configure Xcode to build both at the same time?

  • How does one enhance Silverlight WritableBitmap quality when replacing UIElements for animations

    I'm doing an animation where I temporarily drop down the visibility of UIElements and overlay WritableBitmap versions of the original Image. The problem I have is that when I do this on element with text, it results in a noticeably blurry and darker image meaning the switch from UIElement to Image is noticeable. Has anyone experienced this and/or know how to deal with this issue?

    Hello, I was wondering which libraries or API's would be useful in this. what im aiming for is to be able to type a command into a prompt and then specify which computer(out of all of them that are networked together) to execute that command on. the second part is i want to be able to see that command execute and the result on the computer that was specified. for example if i enter "firefox www.google.com, desktop2" i want to be able to see the window open on the monitor of that computer.     I recently heard about the use of several different languages in a (big) project, I also read about famous services such as Twitter using Rails as frontend, mixed with some other languages, and Scala I think it was as backend. Is this common practice? Who does that? I'm sure there are disadvantages to this. I think that you will have problems with the different interpreters/compilers and seamlessly connecting the different languages. Is this true? Why is this actually done? For performance?

    I have a games table which holds the data about a game. Then another table which holds the data about news. So far so good. First I thought about creating a junction table for game_news so I could relate news to games. This way works as intended when the game exists. So whenever I insert a news I can relate it to a game using the junction table. However there are cases when there is news about game but the game isn't published and it doesn't exists. So my question would be; is there a way to relate these news to a particular game when the game record is created. What is the best way to do this? Any ideas?

  • How to read a string one letter at a time in python

    I need to convert a string inputed by a user into morse code. The way our professor wants us to do this is to read from a morseCode.txt file, seperate the letters from the morseCode into two lists, then convert each letter to morse code (inserting a new line when there is a space). I have the beginning. What it does is reads the morseCode.txt file and seperates the letters into a list [A, B, ... Z] and the codes into a list ['– – . . – –\n', '. – . – . –\n'...]. We haven't learned "sets" yet, so I can't use that. How would I then take the string that they inputed, go through letter by letter, and convert it to morse code? I'm a bit caught up.
