• Binding redirect problem in .net

  I have a class library called "MyAssembly" that is internally referencing a.dll, b.dll of version 3.1.1.0; I have build the project which outputed MyAssembly.dll. On a different system (box) I have created a web application project and referenced the MyAssembly.dll. the new system has new versions of a.dll and b.dll 4.0.0; I used binding redirect in web.config like below. But still unable to compile the web application. it says missing assembly reference a.dll, version 3.1.1.0. Could any body help in solving this issue? Thanks, Suresh

  Hello, I hope that I have come to the right post for a beginner’s question abut Android programming. If not, please feel free to direct me to a better forum. I created a hello world application, and the system generated most of the Android language below. When running the app without the system.out statement, there is no “hello” in the emulator. Then, using the Eclipse tutorial, I read that I can add the system.out.println statement to main. Again the app runs, but there is no output. • UIView autoresize problem

When I change the frame property of the view, the imageView's size changes accordingly, but the rest of the subviews remain in their original size! I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Edit: It appears as thought the mousemove() event isn't binding for earlier elements than the one currently being dragged (should be bound upon their mouseover).

  Hello. I want to list messages that received specific user from other users group by ID's and ordered by last message received. If I use this query: SELECT MAX(id), fromid, toid, message FROM pro_messages WHERE toid=00003 GROUP BY fromid I do not get last message sent from user "fromid" to user "toid" but the first message sent. Can I do that in some other way or I need to do it with two queries or join tables? id - message id fromid - id of user who sent message toid - id of user who receive message (in this case user 00003)

• Problem upgrading eclipse rcp app from 3.3 to 3.5 on Mac OS

  I previously had an eclipse rcp app based on eclipse 3.3 pugins deployed on both windows and mac OS X 10.4. i'm now trying to port the app to java 1.6 and eclipse 3.5 (Build id: 20100218-1602) plugins on Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard). I can launch the product from eclipse 3.5 on windows but not on Mac OS X. I have the 64bit cocoa eclipse IDE and java 6. In the launch configuration I set runtime JRE to JVM 1.6.0 and added required plugins. I got very demoralized that nowadaysy job scope is all about delegating other to do the work but I can't learn much technical stuff? • SharePoint 2010 HttpModule problem

  I'm trying to write an HttpModule to run on our SharePoint farm - essentially it will check whether the user is authenticated and if they are it will validate some info against another database and potentially redirect the user to sign a variety of usage agreements. Whenever I enable the module in the web.config I'm finding that SharePoint has issues rendering the page - it's almost like the CSS is not getting loaded as the page is devoid of any styling. As a test I've even tried an empty module - i.e. an empty init block so it's not even hooking up any code to any events and the same issue arises. At this point it's an empty class that just implements IHttpModule so it's not even my dodgy coding causing the issue! The module is in a class library that I've dropped in to the bin folder of the application it needs to run against. In the web.config of the app I've simply added an entry as below: <modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true"> ... (default stuff ommitted) <add name="SharePointAUP" type="SPModules.SharePointAUP" /> </modules> I must be missing something really obvious here as I've done exactly the same as every sample I've found and yet I'm getting this strange behaviour. Is there something extra I need to do to get SharePoint to play nice with a custom module?

  In a user control, I've got a Repeater inside of an UpdatePanel (which id displayed inside of a ModalPopupExtender. The Repeater is databound using an array list of MyDTO objects. There are two buttons for each Item in the list. Upon binding the ImageURL and CommandArgument are set. This code works fine the first time around but the CommandArgument is wrong thereafter. It seems like the display is updated correctly but the DTO isn't and the CommandArgument sent is the one that has just been removed. Can anybody spot any problems with the code? • [C#] A problem of downloading webpage's HTML source.

  I use System.Net.WebClient.DownloadString(url) to get the HTML source of http://kqxs.vn but what I recieved is a caution text from the web server which says in Vietnamese as: "Xin loi. Chung toi khong the dap ung yeu cau truy cap cua ban... Vui long lien he : [email protected]. Chao ban" which is translated in English as "Sorry. We cannot response to your request... Please contact... Good bye." This is strange because when I use a WebControl to get the HTML ( by calling .Navigate(url) and then .DocumentText), I receive the different HTML codes - which in turn is exactly what I see when open the website by Firefox & view the source code from Firefox. I read DownloadData() is downloading source that is completely wrong. Source view in Firefox different than that downloaded. - Stack Overflow and found the answer to my symptom. But I don't know how to set the User-Agent. Please help.

• Telerik RadAlert back button cache problem

  Hi, I'm sure you have had this one before so if you could point me to something similar.... I have a server side creation of a RadAlert window using the usual Sys.Application.remove_load and add_load procedure however the alert keeps popping up as it seems to be caching when the user hits the back button after it has been activated. I have tried to put a onclick event on a button to clear the function using remove_load before it moves to the next page however it still doesn't seem to clear it. Its used in validation so if a user inputs failed validation it pops up. If they then go and enter correct validation it then moves onto the next page. If they then use back button this is where it pops up again. Any ideas? I have installed the Report Viewer Re-distributable (I've tried 2005, 2005sp, 2008 and 2008sp) I've Mapped a handler in IIS for Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd to type Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler, Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a However whenever I run a report on the website I get the following error message: Could not load type 'Microsoft.Reporting.Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler' from assembly 'Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'Microsoft.Reporting.Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler' from assembly 'Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'. I am stumped. Any ideas?

  I am using sample code of AudioStream.zip,but when i use this to play Mp3 file , it gives wrong total amount of playing time(after played completely through streaming).... i checked through downloading that Mp3 file into Document Directory and played in Itune it exactly is played for 2.10 seconds.but in streaming through that code(- (double)progress method) gives total playing time only 2.3 sec, is there any sample code for AudioStreaming except that one to give right Total playing Time?

• the Memory problem about MySQL "SELECT *"

  Dear all: I'm new to MySQL, and I have a question about the memory. I have a 200mb table(MyISAM, 2,000,000 rows), and I try to load all of it to the memory. I use python(actually MySQLdb in python) with sql: SELECT * FROM table. However, from my linux "top" I saw this python process uses 50% of my memory(which is total 6GB) I'm curious about why it uses about 3GB memory only for a 200 mb table. Thanks in advance!

• problem installing VS 2010 after uninstalling the RC

  Hi I uninstalled my VS 2010 RC to install VS 2010. However, it fails to install with the following error in the log files: d:\vs_setup.msi could not be opened. I've tried running the windows clean install and deleting any VS2010 files; also renamed the Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0 folder in the registry, but I keep getting the same error. I can see the vs_setup.msi on the dvd, it just won't allow me to run it directly. I have to run setup.exe. Any ideas?
