  • Need help with an xpath query!

    - by gerrod
    Can anyone help with the following XPath question? Given the node-set: <table> <rows> <row> <value column="Product">Coal</value> <value column="Quantity">10000</value> </row> <row> <value column="Product">Iron</value> <value column="Quantity">5000</value> </row> <row> <value column="Product">Ore</value> <value column="Quantity">4000</value> </row> </rows> </table> I want to query to find the node sub-set with a given product name. Note that the product name is being supplied by an attribute of the current node being processed (i.e. "@name"). So when the @name attribute has the value of "Coal" I would expect this to be returned: <row> <value column="Product">Coal</value> <value column="Quantity">10000</value> </row> This is what I've come up with; I know it's wrong, because I don't get anything back. $table/rows/row[value[@column='Product'][text()=@name]] </code>

  • XSLT 1 Plain Text Spacing

    - by justkt
    Using Perl's XML::LibXSLT necessitates that I use XSLT 1.0, which means that I am stuck without XSLT 2.0 features. Is there a way that I can still pad text cleanly in a plain-text output from my processing? What I want is: <values> <headers> <header>Header 1</header> <header>Header 2</header> </headers> <value> <one>First value 1</one> <two>First value 2</two> </value> <value> <one>Second value 1</one> <two>Second value 2</two> </value> .... <value> <one>Nth value 1</one> <two>Nth value 2</two> </value> </values> To become Header 1 Header 2 First value 1 First value 2 Second value 1 Second value 2 .... Nth value 1 Nth value 2 I realize that XSLT isn't necessarily ideally suited for this type of formatting, but the data will likely also be formatted in other ways.

  • form element not showing up after adding in through jquery

    - by ooo
    inside a jquery method (on a click event of a button) i have the following code: $(selector).html("<form action='/Tracker/CopyFood' method='post'><input type='hidden' name='Id' value=" + id + "><input class='very-small-input' type='text' name='Quantity' value='1' /> for <select name='Date'><option value='Today'>Today</option><option value='Yesterday'>Yesterday</option></select><select name='Meal'><option value='Breakfast'>Breakfast</option><option value='Lunch'>Lunch</option><option value='Dinner'>Dinner</option><option value='Evening Snack'>Evening Snack</option></select><input type='button' class='submitCopyFood' value='Add'> or <div style='display:inline' class='CancelCopy'>Cancel</div></form> "); it seems to work on the screen, but the button click "submitCopyFood" wasn't firing. When i click "View Selection Source" in firefox, i see the issue. All i see is this: <input name="Id" value="128" type="hidden"><input class="very-small-input" name="Quantity" value="1" type="text"> for <select name="Date"><option value="Today">Today</option><option value="Yesterday">Yesterday</option></select><select name="Meal"><option value="Breakfast">Breakfast</option><option value="Lunch">Lunch</option><option value="Dinner">Dinner</option><option value="Evening Snack">Evening Snack</option></select><input class="submitCopyFood" value="Add" type="button"> or <div style="display: inline;" class="CancelCopy">Cancel</div> Its like i never added the form anywhere. Is there any reason why i dont see the: <form action='/Tracker/CopyFood' method='post'> or the </form> in the source code inside the selected source. Is there something special that i need to do here?

  • SQL SERVER – Find Referenced or Referencing Object in SQL Server using sys.sql_expression_dependencies

    - by pinaldave
    A very common question which I often receive are: How do I find all the tables used in a particular stored procedure? How do I know which stored procedures are using a particular table? Both are valid question but before we see the answer of this question – let us understand two small concepts – Referenced and Referencing. Here is the sample stored procedure. CREATE PROCEDURE mySP AS SELECT * FROM Sales.Customer GO Reference: The table Sales.Customer is the reference object as it is being referenced in the stored procedure mySP. Referencing: The stored procedure mySP is the referencing object as it is referencing Sales.Customer table. Now we know what is referencing and referenced object. Let us run following queries. I am using AdventureWorks2012 as a sample database. If you do not have SQL Server 2012 here is the way to get SQL Server 2012 AdventureWorks database. Find Referecing Objects of a particular object Here we are finding all the objects which are using table Customer in their object definitions (regardless of the schema). USE AdventureWorks GO SELECT referencing_schema_name = SCHEMA_NAME(o.SCHEMA_ID), referencing_object_name = o.name, referencing_object_type_desc = o.type_desc, referenced_schema_name, referenced_object_name = referenced_entity_name, referenced_object_type_desc = o1.type_desc, referenced_server_name, referenced_database_name --,sed.* -- Uncomment for all the columns FROM sys.sql_expression_dependencies sed INNER JOIN sys.objects o ON sed.referencing_id = o.[object_id] LEFT OUTER JOIN sys.objects o1 ON sed.referenced_id = o1.[object_id] WHERE referenced_entity_name = 'Customer' The above query will return all the objects which are referencing the table Customer. Find Referenced Objects of a particular object Here we are finding all the objects which are used in the view table vIndividualCustomer. USE AdventureWorks GO SELECT referencing_schema_name = SCHEMA_NAME(o.SCHEMA_ID), referencing_object_name = o.name, referencing_object_type_desc = o.type_desc, referenced_schema_name, referenced_object_name = referenced_entity_name, referenced_object_type_desc = o1.type_desc, referenced_server_name, referenced_database_name --,sed.* -- Uncomment for all the columns FROM sys.sql_expression_dependencies sed INNER JOIN sys.objects o ON sed.referencing_id = o.[object_id] LEFT OUTER JOIN sys.objects o1 ON sed.referenced_id = o1.[object_id] WHERE o.name = 'vIndividualCustomer' The above query will return all the objects which are referencing the table Customer. I am just glad to write above query. There are more to write to this subject. In future blog post I will write more in depth about other DMV which also aids in finding referenced data. • Configuration data: single-row table vs. name-value-pair table

    - by Heinzi
    Let's say you write an application that can be configured by the user. For storing this "configuration data" into a database, two patterns are commonly used. The single-row table CompanyName | StartFullScreen | RefreshSeconds | ... ---------------+-------------------+------------------+-------- ACME Inc. | true | 20 | ... The name-value-pair table ConfigOption | Value -----------------+------------- CompanyName | ACME Inc. StartFullScreen | true (or 1, or Y, ...) RefreshSeconds | 20 ... | ... I've seen both options in the wild, and both have obvious advantages and disadvantages, for example: The single-row tables limits the number of configuration options you can have (since the number of columns in a row is usually limited). Every additional configuration option requires a DB schema change. In a name-value-pair table everything is "stringly typed" (you have to encode/decode your Boolean/Date/etc. parameters). (many more) Is there some consensus within the development community about which option is preferable?

  • JavaScript or PHP based WYSIWYG vector based image editor

    - by Jeroen Pluimers
    For a PHP based site of a client, I'm looking for a vector based image editor that allows: end user creation of vectored images consisting of objects supports upload of bitmap images to be used as objects inside the vector image supports adding text objects to add to the vector image, and change properties (font name, font style, font size) of the text objects preferably supports layering or grouping of objects inside the vector image integrates nicely with a PHP based site (so a PHP or JavaScript library is preferred) can store the vector image in SVG, EPS or PDF Both commercial and FOSS solutions are OK. Any idea where to find such a library? --jeroen

  • Scene Graph as Object Container?

    - by Bunkai.Satori
    Scene graph contains game nodes representing game objects. At a first glance, it might seem practical to use Scene Graph as physical container for in game objects, instead of std::vector< for example. My question is, is it practical to use Scene Graph to contain the game objects, or should it be used only to define scene objects/nodes linkages, while keepig the objects stored in separate container, such as std::vector<?

  • F# Objects &ndash; Integrating with the other .Net Languages &ndash; Part 1

    - by MarkPearl
    In the next few blog posts I am going to explore objects in F#. Up to now, my dabbling in F# has really been a few liners and while I haven’t reached the point where F# is my language of preference – I am already seeing the benefits of the language when solving certain types of programming problems. For me I believe that the F# language will be used in a silo like architecture and that the real benefit of having F# under your belt is so that you can solve problems that F# lends itself towards and then interact with other .Net languages in doing the rest. When I was still very new to the F# language I did the following post covering how to get F# & C# to talk to each other. Today I am going to use a similar approach to demonstrate the structure of F# objects when inter-operating with other languages. Lets start with an empty F# class … type Person() = class end   Very simple, and all we really have done is declared an object that has nothing in it. We could if we wanted to make an object that takes a constructor with parameters… the code for this would look something like this… type Person =     {         Firstname : string         Lastname : string     }   What’s interesting about this syntax is when you try and interop with this object from another .Net language like C# - you would see the following…   Not only has a constructor been created that accepts two parameters, but Firstname and Lastname are also exposed on the object. Now it’s important to keep in mind that value holders in F# are immutable by default, so you would not be able to change the value of Firstname after the construction of the object – in C# terms it has been set to readonly. One could however explicitly state that the value holders were mutable, which would then allow you to change the values after the actual creation of the object. type Person = { mutable Firstname : string mutable Lastname : string }   Something that bugged me for a while was what if I wanted to have an F# object that requires values in its constructor, but does not expose them as part of the object. After bashing my head for a few moments I came up with the following syntax – which achieves this result. type Person(Firstname : string, Lastname : string) = member v.Fullname = Firstname + " " + Lastname What I haven’t figured out yet is what is the difference between the () & {} brackets when declaring an object.

  • Representing complex object dependencies

    - by max
    I have several classes with a reasonably complex (but acyclic) dependency graph. All the dependencies are of the form: class X instance contains an attribute of class Y. All such attributes are set during initialization and never changed again. Each class' constructor has just a couple parameters, and each object knows the proper parameters to pass to the constructors of the objects it contains. class Outer is at the top of the dependency hierarchy, i.e., no class depends on it. Currently, the UI layer only creates an Outer instance; the parameters for Outer constructor are derived from the user input. Of course, Outer in the process of initialization, creates the objects it needs, which in turn create the objects they need, and so on. The new development is that the a user who knows the dependency graph may want to reach deep into it, and set the values of some of the arguments passed to constructors of the inner classes (essentially overriding the values used currently). How should I change the design to support this? I could keep the current approach where all the inner classes are created by the classes that need them. In this case, the information about "user overrides" would need to be passed to Outer class' constructor in some complex user_overrides structure. Perhaps user_overrides could be the full logical representation of the dependency graph, with the overrides attached to the appropriate edges. Outer class would pass user_overrides to every object it creates, and they would do the same. Each object, before initializing lower level objects, will find its location in that graph and check if the user requested an override to any of the constructor arguments. Alternatively, I could rewrite all the objects' constructors to take as parameters the full objects they require. Thus, the creation of all the inner objects would be moved outside the whole hierarchy, into a new controller layer that lies between Outer and UI layer. The controller layer would essentially traverse the dependency graph from the bottom, creating all the objects as it goes. The controller layer would have to ask the higher-level objects for parameter values for the lower-level objects whenever the relevant parameter isn't provided by the user. Neither approach looks terribly simple. Is there any other approach? Has this problem come up enough in the past to have a pattern that I can read about? I'm using Python, but I don't think it matters much at the design level.

  • Does attending the upcoming Devdays 2011 have some value for a resume?

    - by systempuntoout
    This fall I'm 99% going to London to attend the awesome Devdays 2011; I have many reasons to go there and some of them are: Professional stuff Great people Awesome topics Unicorns Passion London :) Obviously all the cool technologies that will be discussed are light years far from my daily work but useful for my side projects and maybe for some future employment. Now, to get to the point; a coworker said to me that he won't come with me because Devday London is expensive, and something expensive should reward you with a certificate, a certificate that could have some value to the eyes on an employer. Is he right? Do you think that attenting to this kind of event have some value on a resume? Should it be highlighted? Does it have any value for a future employer?

  • Translating multiple objects in GUI based on average position?

    - by user1423893
    I use this method to move a single object in 3D space, it accounts for a local offset based on where the cursor ray hits the widget and the center of the widget. var cursorRay = cursor.Ray; Vector3 goalPosition = translationWidget.GoalPosition; Vector3 position = cursorRay.Origin + cursorRay.Direction * grabDistance; // Constrain object movement based on selected axis switch (translationWidget.AxisSelected) { case AxisSelected.All: goalPosition = position; break; case AxisSelected.None: break; case AxisSelected.X: goalPosition.X = position.X; break; case AxisSelected.Y: goalPosition.Y = position.Y; break; case AxisSelected.Z: goalPosition.Z = position.Z; break; } translationWidget.GoalPosition = goalPosition; Vector3 p = goalPosition - translationWidget.LocalOffset; objectSelected.Position = p; I would like to move multiple objects based on the same principle and using a widget which is located at the average position of all the objects currently selected. I thought that I would have to translate each object based on their offset from the average point and then include the local offset. var cursorRay = cursor.Ray; Vector3 goalPosition = translationWidget.GoalPosition; Vector3 position = cursorRay.Origin + cursorRay.Direction * grabDistance; // Constrain object movement based on selected axis switch (translationWidget.AxisSelected) { case AxisSelected.All: goalPosition = position; break; case AxisSelected.None: break; case AxisSelected.X: goalPosition.X = position.X; break; case AxisSelected.Y: goalPosition.Y = position.Y; break; case AxisSelected.Z: goalPosition.Z = position.Z; break; } translationWidget.GoalPosition = goalPosition; Vector3 p = goalPosition - translationWidget.LocalOffset; int numSelectedObjects = objectSelectedList.Count; for (int i = 0; i < numSelectedObjects; ++i) { objectSelectedList[i].Position = (objectSelectedList[i].Position - translationWidget.Position) + p; } This doesn't work as the object starts shaking, which I think is because I haven't accounted for the new offset correctly. Where have I gone wrong?

  • Why is n given the initial value of 1 in this loop?

    - by notypist
    From Kochan's "Programming in C": Input: printf ("TABLE OF TRIANGULAR NUMBERS\n\n"); printf (" n Sum from 1 to n\n"); printf ("--- ---------------\n"); triangularNumber = 0; for(n=1; n<=10; ++n){ triangularNumber += n; ? printf (" %i", n); } Output (only partly pasted): TABLE OF TRIANGULAR NUMBERS n = 1 Sum from 1 to n = 1 n = 2 Sum from 1 to n = 2 Question: I understand the purpose of this, but here's what I can't get my head around: If within the loop we assign an initial value of "1" to "n", then we check if n<=10, and if that's true (which it should be with the initial value), we then add "1" to n. Shouldn't (and I know it shouldn't, just don't understand why) the initial value displayed in our table be n=2 ? Thanks in advance for your patience and effort!

  • How to find collision detection side between two objects?

    - by user2362369
    I am using box2D and I have two objects, one is bouncy ball and the other one is block. I'd like to find which side of the block is collided with, so I can only make the ball bounce when it hits the top. I tried to implement many things like fixture data and by detecting position, using manifold but not get the accurate result. I also tried to calculate distance between two object but all went wrong.

  • Significant amount of the time, I can't think of a reason to have an object instead of a static class. Do objects have more benefits than I think?

    - by Prog
    I understand the concept of an object, and as a Java programmer I feel the OO paradigm comes rather naturally to me in practice. However recently I found myself thinking: Wait a second, what are actually the practical benefits of using an object over using a static class (with proper encapsulation and OO practices)? I could think of two benefits of using an object (both significant and powerful): Polymorphism: allows you to swap functionality dynamically and flexibly during runtime. Also allows to add new functionality 'parts' and alternatives to the system easily. For example if there's a Car class designed to work with Engine objects, and you want to add a new Engine to the system that the Car can use, you can create a new Engine subclass and simply pass an object of this class into the Car object, without having to change anything about Car. And you can decide to do so during runtime. Being able to 'pass functionality around': you can pass an object around the system dynamically. But are there any more advantages to objects over static classes? Often when I add new 'parts' to a system, I do so by creating a new class and instantiating objects from it. But recently when I stopped and thought about it, I realized that a static class would do just the same as an object, in a lot of the places where I normally use an object. For example, I'm working on adding a save/load-file mechanism to my app. With an object, the calling line of code will look like this: Thing thing = fileLoader.load(file); With a static class, it would look like this: Thing thing = FileLoader.load(file); What's the difference? Fairly often I just can't think of a reason to instantiate an object when a plain-old static-class would act just the same. But in OO systems, static classes are fairly rare. So I must be missing something. Are there any more advantages to objects other from the two that I listed? Please explain.

  • How to make a jQuery plugin (the right way)?

    - by macek
    I know there are jQuery cookie plugins out there, but I wanted to write one for the sake of better learning the jQuery plugin pattern. I like the separation of "work" in small, manageable functions, but I feel like I'm passing name, value, and options arguments around too much. Is there a way this can be refactored? I'm looking for snippets of code to help illustrate examples provided with in answers. Any help is appreciated. Thanks :) example usage $.cookie('foo', 'bar', {expires:7}); $.cookie('foo'); //=> bar $.cookie('foo', null); $.cookie('foo'); //=> undefined Edit: I did a little bit of work on this. You can view the revision history to see where this has come from. It still feels like more refactoring can be done to optimize the flow a bit. Any ideas? the plugin (function($){ $.cookie = function(name, value, options) { if (typeof value == 'undefined') { return get(name); } else { options = $.extend({}, $.cookie.defaults, options || {}); return (value != null) ? set(name, value, options) : unset(name, options); } }; $.cookie.defaults = { expires: null, path: '/', domain: null, secure: false }; var set = function(name, value, options){ console.log(options); return document.cookie = options_string(name, value, options); }; var get = function(name){ var cookies = {}; $.map(document.cookie.split(';'), function(pair){ var c = $.trim(pair).split('='); cookies[c[0]] = c[1]; }); return decodeURIComponent(cookies[name]); }; var unset = function(name, options){ value = ''; options.expires = -1; set(name, value, options); }; var options_string = function(name, value, options){ var pairs = [param.name(name, value)]; $.each(options, function(k,v){ pairs.push(param[k](v)); }); return $.map(pairs, function(p){ return p === null ? null : p; }).join(';'); }; var param = { name: function(name, value){ return name + "=" + encodeURIComponent(value); }, expires: function(value){ // no expiry if(value === null){ return null; } // number of days else if(typeof value == "number"){ d = new Date(); d.setTime(d.getTime() + (value * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000)); } // date object else if(typeof value == "object" && value instanceof "Date") { d = value; } return "expires=" + d.toUTCString(); }, path: function(value){ return "path="+value; }, domain: function(value){ return value === null ? null : "domain=" + value; }, secure: function(bool){ return bool ?   • How can I make the storage of C++ lambda objects more efficient?

    - by Peter Ruderman
    I've been thinking about storing C++ lambda's lately. The standard advice you see on the Internet is to store the lambda in a std::function object. However, none of this advice ever considers the storage implications. It occurred to me that there must be some seriously black voodoo going on behind the scenes to make this work. Consider the following class that stores an integer value: class Simple { public: Simple( int value ) { puts( "Constructing simple!" ); this->value = value; } Simple( const Simple& rhs ) { puts( "Copying simple!" ); this->value = rhs.value; } Simple( Simple&& rhs ) { puts( "Moving simple!" ); this->value = rhs.value; } ~Simple() { puts( "Destroying simple!" ); } int Get() const { return this->value; } private: int value; }; Now, consider this simple program: int main() { Simple test( 5 ); std::function<int ()> f = [test] () { return test.Get(); }; printf( "%d\n", f() ); } This is the output I would hope to see from this program: Constructing simple! Copying simple! Moving simple! Destroying simple! 5 Destroying simple! Destroying simple! First, we create the value test. We create a local copy on the stack for the temporary lambda object. We then move the temporary lambda object into memory allocated by std::function. We destroy the temporary lambda. We print our output. We destroy the std::function. And finally, we destroy the test object. Needless to say, this is not what I see. When I compile this on Visual C++ 2010 (release or debug mode), I get this output: Constructing simple! Copying simple! Copying simple! Copying simple! Copying simple! Destroying simple! Destroying simple! Destroying simple! 5 Destroying simple! Destroying simple! Holy crap that's inefficient! Not only did the compiler fail to use my move constructor, but it generated and destroyed two apparently superfluous copies of the lambda during the assignment. So, here finally are the questions: (1) Is all this copying really necessary? (2) Is there some way to coerce the compiler into generating better code? Thanks for reading!

  • Inside what the TexBox value is posted back? ViewState or post back data?

    - by burak ozdogan
    In one article I was reading on ViewState, I saw a sentence saying that I should not fall into a mistake to believe that the value of a TextBox is stored in ViewState; it is stored in PostBack data. From here what I understand is when I post back a web form, the input controls values are stored in HTTP Request body. Not in the Viewstate. But as far as I know ViewState values are stored in an hidden field called __VIEWSTATE anyway. Then does it mean that __VIEVSTATE value is not posted in HTTP POST Request body as a postback data? Sounds nonesense to me. In another words, basically if I say the ViewState mechanism for such scenerio works like this, am I seeing it right or skipping something: You enter a value on an empty TextBox and submit the page The value of text box is posted back inside POST HTTP Request body. Nothing inside __VIEWSTATE at this point from the TextBox On the server side, the TextBox is created with the default value on OnInit method of the page The TrackChange property of ViewState is set to true. The posted back data of TextBox is loaded. Because it is different than the TextBox defalut value(because the user entered something), the ViewState of this text box is marked as DIRTY. The new value of the textbox is written into __VIEWSTATE hidden field From now on __VIEWSTATE hiddenfeild contains the last given value of the TextBox The page is sent to the user's browser having the __VIEWSTATE hidden field. But this time containing the last value entered by user which will be ready to be rendered Thanks guys! burak ozdogan

  • can I store an id value in array of float type ?

When I try to assign the values to array it is giving error:incompatible types in assignment. I tried to cast the value but I got error: pointer value used where a floating point value was expected. I need to store the values in an 2 dimensional array . How can I make it ? Thank You. @implementation fromFileRead1 NSString *fileNameString; int numberOfEnemies, numberOfValues; -(id)init { if( (self = [super init]) ) { NSString *path = @"/Users/sridhar/Desktop/Projects/exampleOnFile2/enemyDetals.txt"; NSString *contentsOfFile = [[NSString alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:path]; NSArray *lines = [contentsOfFile componentsSeparatedByString:@"\n"]; numberOfEnemies = [lines count]; NSLog(@"The number of Lines: %d", numberOfEnemies); for (id line in lines) { NSLog(@"Line %@", line ); NSString *string1 = line; NSArray *split1 = [string1 componentsSeparatedByString:@","]; numberOfValues = [split1 count]; NSLog(@"The number of values in Row: %d", numberOfValues); for (id value in split1) { NSLog(@"value %@", value); float value1; value1 = [split1 objectAtIndex:2]); NSLog(@"VAlue of Value1 at index 2: %f", value1 ); } } } return self; } @end In enemyDetal.txt I have 1,3,3 2,3,2.8 10,2,1.6

  • getting the value of a pseudo-element with protractor

    - by bodine
    I'd like to verify the text content of a pseudo-element. The promise returned from using ptor.executeScript("window.getComputedStyle(jQuery('.my-class')[0], ':after').content").then(function(data){ console.log(arguments) // {'0':null} }); I've also tried dropping that in the expectation, but I'd guess that fails for the same reason. Since the CSS Declaration for this is pointing at one of the element's attributes anyway, should I just try to read that attribute?

  • jQuery post with FileStreamResult as return value

    - by karl
    Hello, I'm quite new with jquery and asp.net mvc. My problem is that I'm calling a method in a controller that returns a FileStreamResult. This is working fine, but when I'm calling it with the jQuery post it doesn't work. I can see with vs debug tool that the progam is exectuting the method. Therefor I think it has something to do with that my jQuery call should take care of the return parameter? Somenoe? The jQuery code: <script type="text/javascript"> function createPPT() { $.post("<%= Url.Action( "DownloadAsPowerpoint", "RightMenu" )%>"); } </script> The method in the controller: public ActionResult DownloadAsPowerpoint() { Stream stream; //... HttpContext.Response.AddHeader("content-disposition", "attachment; filename=presentation.pptx"); return new FileStreamResult(stream, "application/pptx"); } Could someone explain and give me some example code?

  • (C#) Label.Text = Struct.Value (Microsoft.VisualStudio.Debugger.Runtime.CrossThreadMessagingException)

    - by Kyle
    I have an app that I'm working on that polls usage from an ISP (Download quota). I've tried threading this via 'new Thread(ThreaProc)' but that didn't work, now trying an IAsyncResult based approach which does the same thing... I've got no idea on how to rectify, please help? The need-to-know: // Global public delegate void AsyncPollData(ref POLLDATA pData); // Class scope: private POLLDATA pData; private void UpdateUsage() { AsyncPollData PollDataProc = new AsyncPollData(frmMain.PollUsage); IAsyncResult result = PollDataProc.BeginInvoke(ref pData, new AsyncCallback(UpdateDone), PollDataProc); } public void UpdateDone(IAsyncResult ar) { AsyncPollData PollDataProc = (AsyncPollData)ar.AsyncState; PollDataProc.EndInvoke(ref pData, ar); // The Exception occurs here: lblStatus.Text = pData.LastError; } public static void PollUsage(ref POLLDATA PData) { PData.LastError = "Some string"; return; }
