If I comment out a line of code that sets the images for the context menu entries then it stops throwing the exception. Any ideas?

  I need to generate different assembly names depending on the platform target. For example, I have a console application "bob.exe". Instead of building for AnyCPU, I need to build explicitly for x86 and x64 and thus want "bob32.exe" and "bob64.exe". The Application tab in Visual Studio 2010 project options disables the Platform combobox. Build Events also don't allow options per platform so I can't rename it afterwards very easily.

Not any one category, but ALL categories Eg, if I want to search all the items that belongs to category id 3 and 5 I would like to use as simple a way as possible. I have tried AND and a nested NOT EXISTS as stated in the mysql manual. Nothing worked.

  Say i have a svn repository at https://www.mysvn.com/svn/. How can i use SharpSVN to figure out whether the remote folder https://www.mysvn.com/svn/a/b/c exists on the server? I need to do it an a way that allows me to tell the difference between a failed connection (ie server down) and the folder simply not having been created yet. Calling info on the full https://www.mysvn.com/svn/a/b/c path does not seem to give an exception that enables me to tell the difference between no repository at all and just a missing folder. I could list all files for https://www.mysvn.com/svn/ but the repository can easily be so big that this can take too long. Right now im doing an info on first the root url and then on the full url. If the root url fails i treat it as a server problem, but if it succeeds and the full url fails i assume its because part of the path hasnt been created on the server.

I only want to make one JSP, but I don't know in advance if the object has an attribute or not. • Using the sharepoint stsadm import command fails when list exists

  When using the stsadm -o import command in sharepoint I am getting an error relating to a list already existing, the import then seems to fail. Should it not handle this scenario of a list already existing on the destination server? I then used the UI to delete the existing list and ran the import again. It then seemed to fail at the same point saying the list exists. In the UI the list appears but when I click it, it reports that the list does not exist - almost as if it's stuck in a half created state, unable to be deleted or created by the import. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

  I'm trying to write a SQL Server database update script. I want to test for the existence of a column in a table, then if it doesn't exist add the column with a default value, and finally update that column based on the current value of a different column in the same table. I want this script to be runnable multiple times, the first time updating the table and on subsequent runs the script should be ignored. • CComPtr CoCreateInstance returns 0x80070582 (Class already exists.)

  I have a StartComObjects function called when the user presses the Login button and a StopComObjects function called when the user presses the Cancel button. The StartComObjects function uses CComPtr.CoCreateInstance to create the COM object and sets up some connection points using AfxConnectionAdvise. When the user presses the Cancel button the connection points are disconnected using AfxConnectionUnadvise and the COM object is stopped before calling Release on the CComPtr. When I press the login button a second time the CComPtr.CoCreateInstance returns 0x80070582 (Class already exists). This prevents the COM object from being created on the second call to StartComObjects. I am not sure why this isn't working. Shouldn't CComPtr::Release free the COM object and allow me to create a new one after the old one was stopped? Is there any way to get around this?

I know how to make the connection and make the SqlCommand to query the table for an existing record. But I don't know how to check the record count from the sqlCommand I made. Does that make sense?   Hi, I've got a very simple question (I hope!) - I just want to find out if a blob (with a name I've defined) exists in a particular container. I'll be downloading it if it does exist, and if it doesn't then I'll do something else. I've done some searching on the intertubes and apparently there used to be a function called DoesExist or something similar... but as with so many of the Azure APIs, this no longer seems to be there (or if it is, has a very cleverly disguised name).   I want to read data from a table whose name is supplied by a user. So before actually starting to read data, I want to check if the database exists or not. I have seen several pieces of code on the NET which claim to do this. However, they all seem to be work only for SQL server, or for mysql, or some other implementation. Is there not a generic way to do this? (I am already seperately checking if I can connect to the supplied database, so I'm fairly certain that a connection can be opened to the database.)

  In my goal to have a Many-to-Many relationship in my MySQL database I have arrived at another bridge to build. Current Tables: Users (id, name) Tags (id, name) User_Tags (user_id, tag_id) Here is the goal: I would like to have the ability to take a tag i.e: #fb and insert it into my Tags database which has a unique constraint on name and if the tag exists I would like to return it's id I would like to insert the tag.id and the current user's user.id into User_Tags. I do not have any unique constraints on the User_Tags table because I would like to be able to track the user's most commonly used tags and present them in a list ordered by frequency of use. I am currently developing this project in PHP using prepared statements. Additionally, performance is not currently an issue as my user count is still fairly small, but it is steadily growing and may be an issue in the future.

• IO.Directory.Exists always returns true

  I am executing a IO.Directory.Exists on a network share from an ASP.NET application running under a specific Application Pool with a specific user account. The call always returns true. I have tried several variations: \\server\share$\directory \\192.168.0.1\share$\directory H:\directory I have checked that directory and share permissions are available to the account. The path does have spaces in it \\server\share$\directory\name name\test test, which should make no difference, however I have read otherwise. I will continue to check permissions, as it does work from my local machine (with the built in VS web-server and I am an administrator on the network), but when deployed to the IIS 6.0 virtual directory, and run under the Application Pool, it does not work.

• Alternative to NOT EXISTS

  Hi all, I have two tables linked by an ID column, lets call them Table A and table B. My goal is to find all the records in table A that have no record in table B. For instance: Table A: ID----Value 1-----value1 2-----value2 3-----value3 4-----value4 Table B ID----Value 1-----x 2-----y 4-----z 4-----l As you can see, record with ID = 3 does not exist in table B, so i want a query that will give me record 3 from table A. the way i am currently doing this is by saying AND NOT EXISTS (SELECT ID FROM TableB) but since the tables are huge, the performance on this is terrible. Also, when i tried using a Left Join where TableB.ID is null, it didnt work. Can anyone suggest an alternative?

  MSDN says that public static members of System.Windows.Application are thread safe.   I'm trying to construct a query in NHibernate to return a list of customers with no orders matching a specific criteria. My Customer object contains a set of Orders: <set name="Orders"> <key column="CustomerID" /> <one-to-many class="Order" /> </set> How do I contruct a query using NHibernate's ICriteria API to get a list of all customers who have no orders? Using native SQL, I am able to represent the query like this: select * from tblCustomers c where not exists (select 1 from tblOrders o where c.ID = o.CustomerID) I have been unable to figure out how to do this using aliases and DetatchedCriteria objects.
