    i have already user observe field in cakephp 1.3 Now i want to do the same thing in cakephp 2.0 I have one form.there is a one field named email.     Hi to everyone I'm trying to create a server/client application for a school project. This is the scenario: a server on a given port, multiple user connected, each user has it's own username. Now I want to check if a user that try to connect to the user use a valid username, for example if a user with username A it's already connected a new user that want to connect cannot use the username A. If this happen the server answer to the new client with an error code.     I have an NSArray with Store objects. Each Store object has two NSString objects; StoreID and Name. I would like to check quickly if an ID exists in this NSArray with Store objects. Example: Store *s1 = [[Store alloc] init]; s1.name = @"Some Name"; s1.id = @"123ABC"; Store *s2 = [[Store alloc] init]; s2.name = @"Some Other Name"; s2.id = @"ABC123"; NSArray *array = [[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects:s1, s2, nil]; NSString *myIdOne = @"ABCDEF"; NSString *myIdTwo = @"123ABC"; BOOL myIdOneExists = ...? BOOL myIdTwoExists = ...? Its the ...? I need to figure out. I know I can do this using a for loop and break when found... but this seems to me like an nasty approach since the NSArray could contain thousands of objects,... theoretically. So I would like to know about a better solution.

  • Set up tunnel to HE.net and now only ipv6.google.com works, but other sites ping fine.

    I'm setting up IPv6 using my router which is running OpenWRT, version Backfire 10.03.1-rc4. I made a tunnel using Hurricane Electric's tunnel broker and set it up on the router and I'm using RADVD to hand out IPv6 addresses. My problem is that on computers on the network, I can only access ipv6.google.com using a browser, but other sites seem to be loading forever and won't open in any browser. I can ping and traceroute to them fine, but can't open them with a browser. I can open any site normally with a browser from the router. Stopping firewall service on the router doesn't help, so it's probably not a firewall issue. All AAAA records resolve fine, so it's probably not a DNS issue. Computers on the network get their IPv6 addresses fine, so it's probably not a radvd issue. Similar setup worked fine for SixXs, but I'm having problems with my PoP there, so I decided to move to HE.     I have analyzed a hibernate generated oracle database and discovered that a delete of a row from a single table will spawn the firing of 1200+ triggers in order to delete the related rows in child tables. The triggers are all auto-generated the same - an automatic delete of a child row without checking for existence first. As it is impossible to predict which child tables will actually have related rows, I think a viable solution to preventing the firing of the cascaded delete down a deeply branched completely empty limb, would be to check for the existence of a related row before attempting to delete. In other dbms', I could simply state " if exists....." before deleting. Is there a comparable way to do this in oracle?

    Hello all! I have some questions about antlr3 with tree grammar in C target. I have almost done my interpretor (functions, variables, boolean and math expressions ok) and i have kept the most difficult statements for the end (like if, switch, etc.) 1) I would like interpreting a simple loop statement: repeat: ^(REPEAT DIGIT stmt); I've seen many examples but nothing about the tree walker (only a topic here with the macros MARK() / REWIND(m) + @init / @after but not working (i've antlr errors: "unexpected node at offset 0")). How can i interpret this statement in C? 2) Same question with a simple if statement: if: ^(IF condition stmt elseifstmt* elsestmt?); The problem is to skip the statement if the condition is false and test the other elseif/else statements. 3) I have some statements which can stop the script (like "break" or "exit"). How can i interrupt the tree walker and skip the following tokens? 4) When a lexer or parser error is detected, antlr returns an error. But i would like to make my homemade error messages. However, I sometimes want to set the values of the parent and target from a DB (I want to default them, based on a code entered by the user; the whole thing is wrapped in an update panel). So if the user keys in ABC, I look up ABC in the DB and default the Parent DropDown to ID 10 and Child DropDown to ID 101. However, this fails because the child has no items when the server side code runs (the web script method hasn't run, because the content of the parent dd wasn't changed on the client side) Does anybody know how to work around this?     I must be missing something obvious here but ... UIControl has a method - (void)addTarget:(id)target action:(SEL)action forControlEvents: (UIControlEvents)controlEvents which lets you add an action to be called when any of the given controlEvents occur. ControlEvents are a bitmask of events which tell you if a touch went down, or up inside, or was dragged etc., there's about 16 of them, you or them together and get called when any of them occur. The selector can have one of the following signatures - (void)action - (void)action:(id)sender - (void)action:(id)sender forEvent:(UIEvent *) none of those tell you what the control event bitmask was. The UIEvent is something slightly different, it's related to the actual touch event and doesn't (I think) contain the UIControlEvent. The sender (UIControl) doesn't have a way to find the control events either. I'd like to have one method which deals with a number of control events as I have some common code regardless of which event or events happened but I still need to know what the UIControlEvents were for some specific processing. Am I missing a way to find out what UIControlEvents were used when the action was called or do I really have to separate my code into -(void)actionWithUIControlEventX; -(void)actionWithUIControlEventY;

    I'm trying to port an application I'm developing to autotools. I'm not an expert in writing makefiles and it's a requisite for me to be able to use autotools. In particular, the structure of the project is the following: .. ../src/Main.cpp ../src/foo/ ../src/foo/x.cpp ../src/foo/y.cpp ../src/foo/A/k.cpp ../src/foo/A/Makefile.am ../src/foo/Makefile.am ../src/bar/ ../src/bar/z.cpp ../src/bar/w.cpp ../src/bar/Makefile.am ../inc/foo/ ../inc/bar/ ../inc/foo/A ../configure.in ../Makefile.am The root folder of the project contains a "src" folder containing the main of the program AND a number of subfolders containing the other sources of the program. The root of the project also contains an "inc" folder containing the .h files that are nothing more than the definitions of the classes in "src", thus "inc" reflects the structure of "src". I have written the following configure.in in the root: AC_INIT([PNAME], [1.0]) AC_CONFIG_SRCDIR([src/Main.cpp]) AC_CONFIG_HEADER([config.h]) AC_PROG_CXX AC_PROG_CC AC_PROG_LIBTOOL AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE([foreign]) AC_CONFIG_FILES([Makefile src/Makefile src/foo/Makefile src/foo/A/Makefile src/bar/Makefile]) AC_OUTPUT And the following is ../Makefile.am SUBDIRS = src and then in ../src where the main of the project is contained: bin_PROGRAMS = pname gsi_SOURCES = Main.cpp AM_CPPFLAGS = -I../../inc/foo\ -I../../inc/foo/A \ -I../../inc/bar/ pname_LDADD= foo/libfoo.a bar/libbar.a SUBDIRS = foo bar and in ../src/foo noinst_LIBRARIES = libfoo.a libfoo_a_SOURCES = \ x.cpp \ y.cpp AM_CPPFLAGS = \ -I../../inc/foo \ -I../../inc/foo/A \ -I../../inc/bar And the analogous in src/bar. The problem is that after calling automake and autoconf, when calling "make" the compilation fails. In particular, the program enters the directory src, then foo and creates libfoo.a, but the same fail for libbar.a, with the following error: Making all in bar make[3]: Entering directory `/user/Raffo/project/src/bar' make[3]: *** No rule to make target `all'. Stop. I have read the autotools documentation, but I'm not able to find a similar example to the one I am working on. Unfortunately I can't change the directory structure as this is a fixed requisite of the project I'm working on. I don't know if you can help me or give me any hint, but maybe you can guess the error or give me a link to a similar structured example. Thank you.

  • Updating target workbook - extracting data from source workbook

    My question is as follows: I have given a workbook to multiple people. They have this workbook in a folder of their choice. The workbook name is the same for all people, but folder locations vary. Let's assume the common file name is MyData-1.xls. Now I have updated the workbook and want to give it to these people. However when they receive the new one (let's call it MyData-2.xls) I want specific parts of their data pulled from their file (MyData-1) and automatically put into the new one provided (MyData-2). The columns and cells to be copied/imported are identical for both workbooks. Let's assume I want to import cell data (values only) from MyData-1.xls, Sheet 1, cells B8 through C25 ... to ... the same location in the MyData-2.xls workbook. How can I specify in code (possibly attached to a macro driven import data now button) that I want this data brought into this new workbook. I have tried it at my own location by opening the two workbooks and using the copy/paste-special with links process. It works really well, but It seems to create a hard link between the two physical workbooks. I changed the name of the source workbook and it still worked. This makes me believe that there is a "hard link" between the tow and that this will not allow me to give the target (MyData-2.xls) workbook to others and have it find their source workbook.

    However it happens only on Windows 7. On Windows XP once it built and intact, no more builds. I narrowed down the issue to one prerequisite - $(jar_target_dir).     I just finished the Netbeans introduction to Hibernate tutorial ( http://netbeans.org/kb/docs/web/hibernate-webapp.html#01 ) and I am getting the following error: "This page calls for XML namespace declared with prefix br but no taglibrary exists" Now, I have seen a similar question somewhere else: http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5430327 but the answer is not listed there. Or, if it is, then I am clearly missing it -- line one of my index.xhtml file reads "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml". It also does not explain why, when I reload localhost:8080, the message disappears.   • Entity Framework: An object with the same key already exists in the objectstatemanager

    I see that this question has been asked a lot, however I haven't found anything yet that solves the problem I'm having. Obviously i'm using the Entity Framework to perform an update to a record. Once the updates are complete, however, whenever I try to save I get the following error message: An object with the same key already exists in the objectstatemanager At first I was passing in a collection object from the view that contained a copy of the the ZipCodeTerritory model object zipToUpdate. I changed the code by pulling this object out and just sending in the relevant fields instead. However, I'm still getting the same error. What's also weird is the first time I run this code, it works fine. Any attempt after that I get the error.   • Change Makefile variable value

    Is there a way to reassign Makefile variable value inside of the target body? What I am trying to do is to add some extra flags for debug compilation: %.erl: %.beam $(ERLC) $(ERLFLAGS) -o ebin $< test: clean debug_compile_flag compile compile_test debug_compile: $(ERLCFLAGS) += -DTEST So if I invoke test target I would like to clean up my environment, add some new flags (like -DTEST to the existing ones), compile the whole code once again (first sources, then test modules). I do not want to copy/paste the code for compiling with some new flags set since there is a lot of logic put here and there. Is there some easy way to redefine the variable value so I can reuse the existing code?

  • What happens when I release a upgrade with higher targeted sdk as previous version?

    SoundPool has a serious bug in it in Android 1.5. I fixed it with a workaround, but since it really limits my app, I want to target 1.6+ for the next version of it. I am wondering: What happens when I release a upgrade that has a higher target SDK version then the previous version of my app? Will only 1.6+ users be able to upgrade their app? Or will also the 1.5 users be able to upgrade since they have the program already installed? Anybody experience with this?
