  • MKMapView maptype not changing!

    I cannot understand why my MKMapView does not want to change to satellite view. This method is called and case 1 is called I have stepped over it but it simply does not change to satellite type it always changes to standard. It only works when it goes back to Map type.   • Does a child control inherit its parents properties of the same name

    Hi all, simple question regarding property value inheritance in UserControls. If i create a UserControl, it has some standard properties like Background, BorderBrush and BorderThickness. Within that UserControl i have a border. I want to know, if i dont specify any set value or binding for the property BorderBrush of that border, will it automatically inherit the value of BorderBrush from the parent control? Thanks!

    I have a flat file source from Excel that has a structure like this: **People** Day1 Day2 Day3 Day4 Person1 someValue ... Person2 Person3 And i would like the package to put this information in a database with standard columns 'Person', 'Day', 'Value'. Does anybody know how to do this - at the moment because the days are going along the top, the package is assuming these are seperate data columns when they are not really and the mapping is not working.

  • ASP.NET MVC subdomain shows folder name

    Hi, I'm using godaddy shared hosting, with IIS7, Integrated mode, and published up a bog standard MVC2 app to dev.lazygekko.com created with Visual Web Developer 2010. It all works, however when any of the links are clicked, they point to dev.lazygekko.com/dev/..., dev being the folder it is pointing at. Can anyone shed some light on what I may be doing wrong?     I need a simple floating point rounding function, thus: double round(double); round(0.1) = 0 round(-0.1) = 0 round(-0.9) = -1 I can find ceil() and floor() in the math.h - but not round(). Is it present in the standard C++ library under another name, or is it missing??

  • Which ISO format should I use to store a user's language?

    Should I use ISO 639-1 (2-letter abbreviation) or ISO 639-2 (3 letter abbrv) to store the user's language? Both are official standards, but which is the de facto standard in the development community? I think ISO 639-1 would be easier to remember, and is probably more popular for that reason, but thats just a guess.     When an external JavaScript file is referenced, <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.4.4.min.js"></script> is the JavaScript source (lines of code before interpretation) available from the DOM or window context in the current HTML page? I mean by using only standard JavaScript without any installed components or tools. I know tools like Firebug trace into external source but it's installed on the platform and likely has special ability outside the context of the browser sandbox.

I simply need a list of all plugged in USB devices and have the user select one to let the console application receive any data the USB device sends. I can then start playing around with the data in my program. I don't want to use library's, only standard C++ functions, and the program should work in Windows 98.

    Hi I have a usercontrol which includes some JavaScript, if I add the control to a standard web page I can start the JavaScript in the body tag, like this <body onLoad="Start()"> The problem is that I need to add the control to a webpage which is inside a masterpage, how do I then start the script when a page inside a masterpage doesn't have a body tag.
