  Is there any documentation on how to write software that uses the framebuffer device in Linux? I've seen a couple simple examples that basically say: "open it, mmap it, write pixels to mapped area." But no comprehensive documentation on how to use the different IOCTLS for it anything. I've seen references to "panning" and other capabilities but "googling it" gives way too many hits of useless information.

• How to roll back a google app engine transaction via web interface?

  I tried to update my app on google appengine by my wireless dropped during the process. When i tried again i got an error "Another transaction by user ajakimov is already in progress for this app and major version." I know i can rollback the update using appcfg.py but i was wondering if it's possible to do this via some sort of a web interfiace (i tried the dashboard i couldn't find anything) ? Thanks.

  I'm getting this error when starting anything that uses the Pango library. I'm using Kubuntu 9.10. I've done 'sudo apt-get --reinstall install' on libgtk* libcairo* libpango* and fontconfig, with no luck. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

When I try to insert/update details it stays on the same page without adding or updating anything into the database table. I really don't know what happened and don't know where start looking.   I've been looking around for a decent jQuery plugin that can handle both dates and times. The core UI DatePicker is great, but unfortunately I need to be able to take time in as well. I've found a few hacks for the DatePicker to work with times, but they all seem pretty inelegant and google isn't turning up anything nice.   I've got an android app that plays mp3s over HTTP. I give the Mediaplayer a URL using setDataSource, then call start in onPrepared, and all is well. Now, I'm trying to implement seeking. When i call seekTo, I don't see the Mediaplayer make a second request using the Range header to my webserver. From reading around, it seems like Android supports this. Do I need to do anything extra to get it to work? Thanks

• Android listview produces black highlighting over text when scrolling. How to stop this?

  I have a listview within which each item contains black text on a white background. When testing on a Nexus One, when scrolling down to read through the text, a black highlight appears over the text and makes it unreadable. I am trying to figure out what is this setting so I can turn it off. I do not want anything to get highlighted when scrolling down through the list. How can I accomplish this? Thanks.

• Resharper function to fix naming convention issues

  A bunch of classes doesn't comply to our naming conventions for private variables. Resharper shows this as a warning, but wants me to fix all of them by hand. Is there some magic option to auto-fix these issues? 'Clean-up code' won't do anything with this. Same goes for converting properties with backing fields to automatic properties when possible: the hint is shown, but Resharper won't fix it automatically.

Or is it just some extra DLLs that can be deployed to my applications Bin folder?
