  • SharePoint Documents Library - Change "Document Created By" field

    Hello, I have a code that changes the username in various SharePoint lists, mostly by the "Author" column. It all works fine on normal lists, but it doesn't seem to work on the "Shared Documents" list which is a document library. Whether I change the username in "Created By" or "Document Created By", the change doesn't seem to take effect. The item.Update command doesn't throw any exception, but it clearly doesn't update the field(s). What can I do if I want to change this field through code? Thanks

  • Setting up vsftpd, hangs on list command

When I try to connect to the ftp server using Transmit, it manages to connect but hangs on Listing "/" Then, I get a message stating: Could not retrieve file listing for “/”. Control connection timed out. Does it have anything to do with my iptables?     This is my first experience with stackoverflow and I'm afraid my question asks of a lot for a first. I was looking at this thread: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2634159/javascrypt-in-the-adress-bar-is-this-malicious and as you will see SLaks has very kindly deobfuscated the javascript and left us with what appears as the Javascript behind the automatic facebook invite code. As I'm fairly new to javascript, I was wondering, what other components were needed to get this code to work? You of course have the functions there and they are called by the obfuscated javascript but how exactly? Would it be possible to replicate this on a page of my own using the information available or is there more to this script I am missing? I am willing to financially assist somebody who could compile a solution for me. Thank you in advance.

    Why does Prolog match (X, Xs) with a tuple containing more elements? An example: test2((X, Xs)) :- write(X), nl, test2(Xs). test2((X)) :- write(X), nl. test :- read(W), test2(W). ?- test. |: a, b(c), d(e(f)), g. a b(c) d(e(f)) g yes Actually this is what I want to achieve but it seems suspicious. Is there any other way to treat a conjunction of terms as a list in Prolog?

    I have a function that will parse the results of a DataReader, and I don't know how many items are returned, so I want to use a while..do loop to iterate over the reader, and the outcome should be a list of a certain type. (fun(reader) -> [ while reader.Read() do new CityType(Id=(reader.GetInt32 0), Name=(reader.GetString 1), StateName=(reader.GetString 2)) ]) This is what I tried, but the warning I get is: This expression should have type 'unit', but has type 'CityType'. Use 'ignore' to discard the result of the expression, or 'let' to bind the result to a name. So what is the best way to iterate over a DataReader and create a list?

    I have a database table that is a dictionary of defined terms -- key, value. I want to load the dictionary in the application scope from the database, and keep it there for performance (it doesn't change). I gather this is probably some sort of "struct," but I'm extremely new to ColdFusion (helping out another team). Then, I'd like to do some simple string replacement on some strings being output to the browser, looping through the defined terms and replacing the terms with some HTML to define the terms (a hover or a link, details to be worked out later, not important).     Given that I have two lists that each contain a separate subset of a common superset, is there an algorithm to give me a similarity measurement? Example: A = { John, Mary, Kate, Peter } and B = { Peter, James, Mary, Kate } How similar are these two lists? Note that I do not know all elements of the common superset. Update: I was unclear and I have probably used the word 'set' in a sloppy fashion. My apologies. Clarification: Order is of importance. If identical elements occupy the same position in the list, we have the highest similarity for that element. The similarity decreased the farther apart the identical elements are. The similarity is even lower if the element only exists in one of the lists. I could even add the extra dimension that lower indices are of greater value, so a a[1] == b[1] is worth more than a[9] == b[9], but that is mainly cause I am curious.

  • Re-measuring custom item renderer on a List

    I'm writing an Adobe Air client to a service similar to Twitter. On the timeline (List component) I have a custom item renderer which is basically a Canvas with a fixed-width Image and a Text control, which is multi-line. If the text is long enough to change the Canvas height, it will only be resized if I manually change the width of the Window, forcing a redraw of all renderers. If I simply scroll through the List, all "new" renderers will have the minimum height possible (which is the Image height). Any ideas on how to force the re-measurement of the renderer when I set it's data? Thanks in advance! :)

    I have a list view with virtual mode set to true and other things. It doing ok. But 1) Say there are 25 items and 15 of them are visible, that is to see the rest of 10 items need to scroll down. 2) Before scrolling swap two items, say myItems[0], it must be visible & myItems[20], it must be not visible scroll required. 3) Now select the first item, it was swapped, you now have two items selected, both 0 indexed and 20 indexed ones. When after swap, those two list view items are of same Position and same Bounds. But before 20-indexed item's Position was (-1, -1) and Bounds was (0,0,0,0). How come 0-indexed item didn't change its position & size? How to solve this ?

  • Using Linq to select a range of members in a list

    Given a list of elements like so: int[] ia = new int[] { -4, 10, 11, 12, 13, -1, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, -2, 6, 15, 32, -5, 6, 19, 22 }; Is there an easy way in Linq to do something along the lines of "Select the elements from the -1 up to the next negative number (or the list exhausts)"? A successful result for -1 would be (-1, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4). Using -2 would give the result (-2, 6, 15, 32). Not a homework problem. I'm just looking at an implementation using a bool, a for loop, and an if wondering if there's a cleaner way to do it.

    We've been using Trac for a while now for our developers only. However we are now opening it up for our (internal) clients. We have a project listing page (based on the default one that comes with Trac). What we'd like to do, is display more information about the project than what is currently available. I have searched google and here, to see if I can find how to get more information. There seems to be a variable called $project which has .name, .description and .href as attributes. Is there somewhere, a list of the attributes available? Or perhaps a different solution altogether that will allow us to display more information on the project list page. Such as the number of open tickets etc.
