    I'm creating a sql based procedure which can Accept a table load the values one at a time send the variables to a remote API Record the response of the API Write the response to a table for viewing later I have successfully implemented 1,2, and 5.     Hi I writing a WCF Service that need transfer large files, so i using streaming, but from the other hand i need to do username specific initializations. The problem is that getting the username and perform initialization every time is very expensive. If i could turn on session, i could just save initialized data in local variables in the service instance. Is there a way to turn on both streaming and session in netTcpBinding?

  • How do I conditionally redirect the output of a command to /dev/null?

    I have a script. I would like to give this script a quiet mode and a verbose mode. This is the equivalent of: if $verbose then redirect="> /dev/null" fi echo "Verbose mode enabled" $redirect # This doesn't work because the redirect isn't evaluated. I'd really like a better way of doing this than writing if-elses for every statement affected. eval could work, but has obvious side effects on other variables.

    I know that the static objects in .Net managed world are loaded in Loader Heap which is never going to be garbage collected. What happens to the instance reference parameters passed to a static methods. Are they get garbage collected once the static function executed completely Or they are going to live forever as those instance reference variables are once passed to static method?     if I have 4 variables startTime; endTime; startMerid; endMerid; startMarid and endMarid are either going to be 'AM' or 'PM'. but startTime and endTime are going to be strings like 'dd:dd' so it may be start:12:30 PM and end:5:30 PM How can I validate that the end time is not before the start time?   • Javascript returns Nan in IE, FF ok

    im very new to javascript, and writing this script to add up a shopping cart and print out subtotals and totals. it works in FF but not in IE. this function is called by onclick of one of three select options with a value of 0-25. it is in a js file called in the head. what it does is get the selected values as variables, parseint them, adds and multiplies, and changes the innerHTML of the table to reflect the subtotals, and total. You can imagine how frustrating it is to be able to write the entire rest of the site beautifully, but then fail at adding 3 numbers together. help please!

  • Python command line - add PYTHONPATH during module run

    I want to run: python somescript.py somecommand But, when I run this I need PYTHONPATH to include a certain directory. I can't just add it to my environment variables because the directory I want to add changes based on what project I'm running. Is there a way to alter PYTHONPATH while running a script? Note: I don't even have a PYTHONPATH variable, so I don't need to worry about appending to it vs overriding it during running of this script.
