• Updating data source on multiple pivot tables within Excel

  Is there an easy way to update the data source for multiple pivot tables on a single Excel sheet at the same time? All of the pivot tables reference the same named range, but I need to create a second worksheet that has the same pivot tables, but accessing a different named range. Ideally I would like to be able to do some kind of search and replace operation (like you can do on formulae), rather than updating each individual pivot table by hand. Any suggestions?

  I couldn't figure out how to cleanly do a tag cloud with JPA where each db entity can have many tags. E.g Post can have 0 or more Tags User can have 0 or more Tags Is there a better way in JPA than having to make all the entities subclass something like Taggable abstract class?   Hi, what I want to do is to know where (not in terms of position (x, y), but a reference to the DOM element) an object was dropped. I have a grid made up with divs where you can drop various items and I need to know which div on the grid was the item dropped on (getting its id would be fine). The callback function function(event, ui) { //code here } has just that ui object who doesn't apparently contain any information about this, but only about the draggable item or its helper.

  When I look at an NSDate value in the debugger, I get something like this: 1.4.2010 22:01:47 +0100 I don't get it what this +0100 is good for. Sometimes it is +0200. Is that supposed to be the time zone or something like that? What's it exactly? How does it affect the "since reference date" value?

  This is sort of a follow-up to this question. If there are multiple blobs with the same contents, they are only stored once in the git repository because their SHA-1's will be identical. How would one go about finding all duplicate files for a given tree? Would you have to walk the tree and look for duplicate hashes, or does git provide backlinks from each blob to all files in a tree that reference it?

• How to do bulk update of views?

  My database has about 30 views, most of which have a reference to another database on this server (call it DB1). Now, without going into the reasons why, I need to update all those views to DB2, also on the local server. I would hate to have to do this manually on each view. Is there some SQL query I can run that will replace all occurrences of the string 'DB1' with 'DB2' in all my views?

  I've been trying to figure how whether the iPhone (either 3G or 3Gs) camera puts metadata into it's images. Anecdotally, it appears that it does (e.g., I've seen images posted on the web that included a bunch of metadata), but I can't find reference to it anywhere in the SDK documentation. So....does anyone have a definitive answer? Also, if there is metadata, how do I get at it?

Note that AbsoluteTime with an integer argument is undocumented.   I'm looking for a Python IDE that can help me easily locate and manage and use the libraries on my system (Ubuntu). Specifically Twisted. Code completion is important including the symbols I import. (I've so far had a look at PyDev as well as OpenKomodo, but while both offer code completion for default Python concepts, I wasn't able to get either to import Twisted into my project and was thus getting reference errors.)   My question is easily summarized as: "Why does the following not work?" teststruct = struct('a',3,'b',5,'c',9) fields = fieldnames(teststruct) for i=1:numel(fns) fns(i) teststruct.(fns(i)) end output: ans = 'a' ??? Argument to dynamic structure reference must evaluate to a valid field name. Especially since teststruct.('a') does work. And fns(i) prints out ans = 'a'. I can't get my head around it.
