    I've got a Windows Service that runs BackgroundWorker's, and I'm wondering if I'm doing the right thing when I stop my Windows Service. Is it enough to: Let the BackgroundWorker1_DoWork method complete (I have a while loop in it now, doing some tasks) Set the variable that holds the reference to the BackgroundWorker, to null Is there some kind of Dispose() method I need to call (In the same way the Timer class has Timer.Dispose();)?

    hi, I'm using the following lines to store the location of an object. var lightboxTop = $('#lightbox').css('top'); var lightboxLeft = $('#lightbox').css(' left'); I'm successively moving this object in my element, and I want to restore it previous position with the stored variables. But, I'm afraid javascript is saving the values by reference so I lose the initial positions. Am I correct ? How can I solve this ? thanks

    Each input field in the CKEditor dialogs are renamed with a unique number, but the number changes depending on what options are visible. I need to reference 'txtUrl' which has an id something like #35_textInput. So far I have discovered that something like this should work: alert(CKEDITOR.instances.myElement.document.$.body.getId('txtUrl')); But it doesn't. Please help.

We have to build an app that correlates the 2 images (phase/2D correlation?) and then plot using Chaco and Mayavi (2 libraries in Python).     I'm using Alberto Santini's solution to this question to get a spiral grid reference based on an items index Algorithm for iterating over an outward spiral on a discrete 2D grid from the origin It's not the accepted solution, but it's the best for my needs as it avoids using a loop. It's working well, but what I want now is to do the inverse. Based on a known x and y coordinate return the index of a location. This is as a precursor to returning the items surrounding a given location.

    Hello everyone, I am using VSTS 2008 + C# + .Net 3.5 on Windows 7. I want to use Expression Encoder 3 to generate thumbnail image for video (wmv format) every 30 seconds -- e.g. for a 5 minutes video, there will be 10 thumbnails which reflects video at the time of 0 second, 30 second, 1 minute, 1 minute and 30 seconds, etc. Any reference code? thanks in advance, George
