    I wrote the following simple groovy code that handles a request. if (init) data = "" if (line.size() > 0) { data += "--> " + line + "\n" } else { println "HTTP/1.1 200 OK\n" println data println "----\n" return "success" } I then run it by doing groovy -l 8888 ServerTest.groovy However, it doesn't seem to print any POST data. I am testing it by doing curl -d "d=test" http://localhost:8888/ Does anybody know how to get that data in groovy?

    im having troubles with parsing a feed and getting the time. i am using dateutil.parser from dateutil.parser import parse print updated, parse(updated ), parse( updated ).utcoffset() this should be a time in cali, output 2010-05-20T11:00:00.000-07:00 2010-05-20 11:00:00.000000-07:00 -1 day, 17:00:00 why is the offset -1 day 17 hours? this is causing me issues when i try to do things with it

  • Two collections and a for loop. (Urgent help needed) Checking an object variable against an inputted

    Hi there, I'm relatively new to java, I'm certain the error is trivial. But can't for the life of me spot it. I have an end of term exam on monday and currently trying to get to grips with past papers! Anyway heregoes, in another method (ALGO_1) I search over elements of and check the value H_NAME equals a value entered in the main. When I attempt to run the code I get a null pointer exception, also upon trying to print (with System.out.println etc) the H_NAME value after each for loop in the snippet I also get a null statement returned to me. I am fairly certain that the collection is simply not storing the data gathered up by the Scanner. But then again when I check the collection size with size() it is about the right size. Either way I'm pretty lost and would appreciate the help. Main questions I guess to ask are: from the readBackground method is the data.add in the wrong place? is the snippet simply structured wrongly? oh and another point when I use System.out.println to check the Background object values name, starttime, increment etc they print out fine.     Hi! I have to deserialize a dictionary in PHP that was serialized using cPickle in Python. In this specific case I probably could just regexp the wanted information, but is there a better way? Any extensions for PHP that would allow me to deserialize more natively the whole dictionary? Apparently it is serialized in Python like this: import cPickle as pickle data = { 'user_id' : 5 } pickled = pickle.dumps(data) print pickled Contents of such serialization cannot be pasted easily to here, because it contains binary data.

  • How to test unescaped &nbsps; as a whitespace

    I use apache common lang to unescape a block of html text which contains &nbsp;, I want to filter out blocks that contains only whitespaces. But I can't test the   as a whitespace. It's not in the normal whitespace list(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitespace_character), and I try to print its Hex form by calling Character.getNumericValue which return -1. &nbsp should be a whitespace,isn't? But How can I test it?

  • Why did File::Find finish short of completely traversing a large directory?

    A directory exists with a total of 2,153,425 items (according to Windows folder Properties). It contains .jpg and .gif image files located within a few subdirectories. The task was to move the images into a different location while querying each file's name to retrieve some relevant info and store it elsewhere. The script that used File::Find finished at 20462 files. Out of curiosity I wrote a tiny recursive function to count the items which returned a count of 1,734,802. I suppose the difference can be accounted for by the fact that it didn't count folders, only files that passed the -f test. The problem itself can be solved differently by querying for file names first instead of traversing the directory. I'm just wondering what could've caused File::Find to finish at a small fraction of all files. The data is stored on an NTFS file system.
