  Suppose I have a class in my package org.jake and it has a method with default access (no modifier). Then the method is visible inside the package only. However, when someone receives the jar of my framework, what is to stop them from writing a new class, declaring its package as org.jake, and using my supposedly invisible method? In other words, is there anything I can do to prevent them from doing that?

• SOAP UI Pro vs Fitnesse, has anybody used SOAP UI Pro?

  We are using Fitnesse for subsystem testing i.e. WCF & RESTful services. Now as writing Fitnesse test requires lot of effort, we are thinking of using SOAP UI Pro which gives this sort of facility. We are not 100% sure how much this is useful? Can anyone give suggestion of using SOAP UI against Fitnesse or if somebody has Pros & Cons regarding either of the thing ??

I currently am able to drag and drop any file in the program, but i only want the user to be able to drop avi or mpeg files, how do you do it?

• .net Listview control will only display largeIcon.

  I'm using the RC of visual Studio 2010. Writing a .net 3.5 application. When I launch the app, the listview control only shows in LargeIcon view. This is not the view I want. I've set the View property in the designer with no success. I've even tried to explicitly set the view during runtime lvAvailableItems.View = View.Tile; Has anyone else had this issue, and if so what was your workaround.

• Is that possible using "setAutoresizingMask" to make the view autoresizing after hiding/showing navi

  I am doing this with the following: [[self navigationController] setNavigationBarHidden:YES animated:YES]; and also I didn't use IB to create view objects. But my view did not auto-resize after hiding navigation bar(there was a blank area where the navigation bar used to be) I am wondering if I could make it auto-resize only by "setAutoresizingMask", or do I have to use some hand-writing animation stuff?

• How to prove that an email has been sent?

  I have a dispute on my hands in which the other party (landlord's real estate agent) dishonestly claims to not have received an email that I truly did send. My questions is, what are the ways to prove that the email was indeed sent? Thus far, the methods that I have already thought of are: Screenshot of the mail in the outbox Forwarding a copy of the original email I am aware of other things like HTTP/ SMTP headers etc that would exist as well. Are these useful for my purposes, and if so how do I extract these? The email in question was sent using Yahoo webmail ( http://au.mail.yahoo.com/ ). Edit: I am not seeking legal advice here, just technical advice as to how to gather this information.

  I am trying to learn how the failover clustering features works with Windows 2008 R2 as I am going to be using as part of SQL Server 2012 always on. I have been able to find information on how to set it up, and what it does. However, I am having trouble finding a nice technical document on how it actually works in detail (For example with keepalived there are docs that explain how often are heartbeat packets sent, what they look like etc). I can detect when the model has failed, but I am not able to use python (on linux) to simulate a key press event. I have some experience writing programs that deal with sql databases and I guess I'm confused how cobol stores and retrieves data that is stored in a mainframe for example. I know that it's not like relational databases but every example program I've seen takes data straight from the command line and I know thats not how real world COBOL programs process the data. • Robocopy - Compare modified dates of files?

  Hi, I've been trying to create this script that basically mirrors two sets of folders and it's content (including subfolders), but only copy files that are newer than the ones that already exist. I tried doing this by writing a vbscript, but it turns out that I manualle need to scan each subfolder and then it's content. And then that subfolder's content as well and so on and so forth. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if this can be done with Robocopy?
