    I have a dropdown to display status, which can be Enabled(true) or Disabled(false). Here is my xml instance. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <page> <file-name></file-name> <status></status> </page> By default, status should be true. So I have set it in binding as follows. <xforms:bind nodeset="./status" xxforms:default="true()" /> When user chooses Disabled in the dropdown, the status should get saved as false. Here is the xml that gets saved when I save the form. <page> <file-name>StatusDisabled.xml</file-name> <status>false</false> </page> When I open the form in edit mode, this is the xml I get in the XML inspector widget. <page> <file-name>StatusDisabled.xml</file-name> <status>true></status> </page> Status gets set to true because of xxforms:default, even though the xml is saved with a false value for status. How can I fix this? Am i not understanding the scopes of JSF? or are they not testing it properly? Further, if you remove c:forEach and replace it with ui:repeat, then it works fine. Waiting for replies to confirm whether it is bug or it is intentional to stop the programmers from using jstl?

    Hi, i'm trying to learn a little bit XSD and I'm trying to create a XSD for this xml: <Document> <TextBox Name="Username" /> <TextBox Name="Password" /> </Document> ... so there's an element, which is an abstract complex type. Every element have elements and so on. Document and TextBox are extending Element.   • Why does Keychain Services return the wrong keychain content?

    I've been trying to use persistent keychain references in an iPhone application. I found that if I created two different keychain items, I would get a different persistent reference each time (they look like 'genp.......1', 'genp.......2', …). However, attempts to look up the items by persistent reference always returned the content of the first item. Why should this be? I confirmed that my keychain-saving code was definitely creating new items in each case (rather than updating existing items), and was not getting any errors. And as I say, Keychain Services is giving a different persistent reference for each item. I've managed to solve my immediate problem by searching for keychain items by attribute rather than persistent references, but it would be easier to use persistent references so I'd appreciate solving this problem.   • Variable mysteriously changing value

    I am making a simple tcp/ip chat program for practicing threads and tcp/ip. I was using asynchronous methods but had a problem with concurrency so I went to threads and blocking methods (not asynchronous). I have two private variables defined in the class, not static: string amessage = string.Empty; int MessageLength; and a Thread private Thread BeginRead; Ok so I call a function called Listen ONCE when the client starts: public virtual void Listen(int byteLength) { var state = new StateObject {Buffer = new byte[byteLength]}; BeginRead = new Thread(ReadThread); BeginRead.Start(state); } and finally the function to receive commands and process them, I'm going to shorten it because it is really long: private void ReadThread(object objectState) { var state = (StateObject)objectState; int byteLength = state.Buffer.Length; while (true) { var buffer = new byte[byteLength]; int len = MySocket.Receive(buffer); if (len <= 0) return; string content = Encoding.ASCII.GetString(buffer, 0, len); amessage += cleanMessage.Substring(0, MessageLength); if (OnRead != null) { var e = new CommandEventArgs(amessage); OnRead(this, e); } } } Now, as I understand it only one thread at a time will enter BeginRead, I call Receive, it blocks until I get data, and then I process it. The problem: the variable amessage will change it's value between statements that do not touch or alter the variable at all, for example at the bottom of the function at: if (OnRead != null) "amessage" will be equal to 'asdf' and at if (OnRead != null) "amessage" will be equal to qwert. As I understand it this is indicative of another thread changing the value/running asynchronously. I only spawn one thread to do the receiving and the Receive function is blocking, how could there be two threads in this function and if there is only one thread how does amessage's value change between statements that don't affect it's value. As a side note sorry for spamming the site with these questions but I'm just getting a hang of this threading story and it's making me want to sip cyanide. Thanks in advance. The client inherits the Abstract client and when the server accepts a socket it create's it's own local AbstractClient, in this case both modules access the functions above however they are different instances and I couldn't imagine threads from different instances combining especially as no variable is static.

    Hello, I'm trying to implement a basic MIME parser for the multipart/related in C++/Qt. So far I've been writing some basic parser code for headers, and I'm reading the RFCs to get an idea how to do everything as close to the specification as possible. Unfortunately there is a part in the RFC that confuses me a bit: From RFC882 Section 3.1.1: Each header field can be viewed as a single, logical line of ASCII characters, comprising a field-name and a field-body. For convenience, the field-body portion of this conceptual entity can be split into a multiple-line representation; this is called "folding". The general rule is that wherever there may be linear-white-space (NOT simply LWSP-chars), a CRLF immediately followed by AT LEAST one LWSP-char may instead be inserted. Thus, the single line Alright, so I simply parse a header field and if a CRLF follows with linear whitespace, I simply concat those in a useful manner to result in a single header line. Let's proceed... From RFC2045 Section 5.1: In the Augmented BNF notation of RFC 822, a Content-Type header field value is defined as follows: content := "Content-Type" ":" type "/" subtype *(";" parameter) ; Matching of media type and subtype ; is ALWAYS case-insensitive. [...] parameter := attribute "=" value attribute := token ; Matching of attributes ; is ALWAYS case-insensitive. value := token / quoted-string token := 1*<any (US-ASCII) CHAR except SPACE, CTLs, or tspecials> Okay. Maybe I just didn't read the RFCs correctly, but if my parser works strictly like the specification defines, the type and start-info parameters would result in a single string or worse, a parser error.   • Kindle Fire: PopupMenu$OrientationChangeListener leak

    I have a little popup menu that anchors on a button in the action bar. This works well on 3.0/3.1 Xoom and Galaxy tabs, and a 4.1 Nexus 7. However, on a 7" Fire HD (this one), I get an error about a leaked intent receiver when exiting the application. The error occurs only if the menu was not opened during that run. There is no mention of OrientationChangeListener in the one copy of the source I've found; I suspect Amazon has a different implementation. Questions: Has anyone encountered this? Does anyone know of a workaround or a fix? (Where) can I find Amazon's source code? Finally, (shudder) how important is it that I don't leak a receiver on application exit?   • Prevent lazy loading in nHibernate

    Hi, I'm storing some blobs in my database, so I have a Document table and a DocumentContent table. Document contains a filename, description etc and has a DocumentContent property. I have a Silverlight client, so I don't want to load up and send the DocumentContent to the client unless I explicity ask for it, but I'm having trouble doing this. I've read the blog post by Davy Brion. I have tried placing lazy=false in my config and removing the virtual access modifier but have had no luck with it as yet. Every time I do a Session.Get(id), the DocumentContent is retrieved via an outer join. I only want this property to be populated when I explicity join onto this table and ask for it. Any help is appreciated.     I tried this: ffmpeg -i /sdcard/video/transcode/video.avi -map 0:0,0 -i /sdcard/video/transcode/first.mp3 -map 1:0,1 -i /sdcard/video/transcode/second.mp3 -map 2:0,2 -acodec copy -vcodec py /sdcard/video/transcode/Output.avi to add two audio streams to one video file. But ffmpeg says the number of mappings should match the number of output streams. What is wrong here? I'm trying to work with an Android build of FFmepg "ffmpeg for android beta". "Does not work" means that this uncommunicative Android build of FFmpeg just stops without giving any error message. The -codec copy option does not work with this build. Now I tried the same set of files with the FFmpeg called command line tool that comes with Ubuntu 10. Something (can't say where it is from). The -codec copy option does not work with this FFmpeg too. Is there a solution to this? I cannot be the first to hit this problem?

I'd prefer to simply use .NET Diagnostics Tracing, but would like to setup a listener that sends emails on Error events. I figured I could use the Enterprise Library EmailTraceListener. Update: After examining the code, I have discovered it is not possible. The Ent Lib TraceListeners do not actually utilize the config attributes they specify in overriding TraceListener.GetSupportedAttributes(), despite the recommendations in the .NET TraceListener documentation. My input can be any XML document, with any number of nested levels so the structure isn't known to the XSLT. Due to the tools available to me, my solution has to use XSLT version 1.0.   • XSLT Select all nodes containing a specific substing

    I'm trying to write an XPath that will select certain nodes that contain a specific word. In this case the word is, "Lockwood". The correct answer is 3. Both of these paths give me 3. count(//*[contains(./*,'Lockwood')]) count(BusinessLetter/*[contains(../*,'Lockwood')]) But when I try to output the text of each specific node //*[contains(./*,'Lockwood')][1] //*[contains(./*,'Lockwood')][2] //*[contains(./*,'Lockwood')][3] Node 1 ends up containing all the text and nodes 2 and 3 are blank. Can some one please tell me what's happening or what I'm doing wrong.     Hello. I have the following php code that adds data into XML and works correctly. However, in my second step I will create a form that deletes some of the elements. The problem is that I want to add an ID number and then the PHP file will search for it and delete entire node. My question is how can i add an ID into CD for this to work ?
