    I'm trying to call a method of the below (Scroll animation class) type from a viewcontroller class. -(void)CreateLabel:(CGRect )frame andLabel:(UILabel *[NUM_LABELS])label andview:(UIView *)view; I got some errors when I tried passing the argument. Any suggestion on how to call this?     Suppose I have an application a search for all gas stations within 10 mile radius of a certain location. However one side of this location is surrounded by a mountain range that you have to drive 50 miles to get around. You would not want to return results from the other side of the mountain. What are some good algorithms/techniques to deal with such a problem? I know with point to point searches you can use path costs but I am not sure what the technique is with radius searches.

    I have an array of structs and one of the fields in the struct is a float. I want to pick one of the structs where the probability of picking it is relative to the value of the float. ie struct s{ float probability; ... } sArray s[50]; What is the fastest way to decide which s to pick? Is there a function for this? If I knew the sum of all the probability fields (Note it will not be 1), then could I iterate through each s and compare probability/total_probability with a random number, changing the random number for each s? ie if( (float) (rand() / RAND_MAX) < probability)...

    Hello, Using Visual Studio 2010 10.0.20319.1 RTMRel and SQL Server Express 10.50.1600.1 I'm trying to add a new SQL Server Database .mdf, however, I receive the following error: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 25 – Connection string is not valid) I have enabled TCP/IP and Named Pipelines, added Firewall Exceptions for Sql Server, I am successfully connecting from VS in the Server Explorer window. I would appreciate if someone can pint me to a solution to my problem. Thank you.

  • Cannot running next process when a variable save no value

    First, I wanna compare between 2 tables tb_wrapper and tb_summary to get the data in the tb_wrapper that doesn't exist in the tb_summary then save in $link. If I don't get the same data, I want to print the result $link. When I don't get the not same data, I want it to go to another process.     I am using dataTables plugin for a table on a page I am working on. Its basically fetching rows through an ajax call and in this ajax call, I send the search params that the user selects and the page number required. I need the Next, Previous, First and Last buttons to also fire the same ajax call, but with different page numbers, as the back-end interceptor depends on the page number. This api call would return total no. of rows(say 1000) belonging for these search params and the rows with the page size( say 50). Is there any way, I can use data table to do this?

Consider: Perhaps a list the 50 United States names is an easy thing to find (does one include DC?) , but the countries are not. Nearly every site you find has a differing list with all of the political goings on over the years, and they become outdated quickly. What's the best practice regarding population of these kinds of lists? Is there an official list somewhere that one uses to populate these kinds of formal/official fields? Where do you get this data from, when it's not exactly specified in the specs?

    I am trying to understand how can I make Azure Service Bus Topic to be scaleable to handle 10,000 requests/second from more than 50 different clients. I found this article at Microsoft - http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/hh528527.aspx. This provides lot of good input to scale azure service bus like creating multiple message factories, sending and receiving asynchronously, doing batch send/receive. But all these input are from the publisher and subscriber client perspective. What if the node running the Topic can not handle the huge number of transactions? How do I monitor that? How do I have the Topic running on multiple nodes? Any input on that would be helpful. Also wondering if any one has done any capacity testing with Topic/Queue and I am eager to see those results...   • Show parts of the result of an SQL statement using PHP

    I have an SQL query which returns a set of data (around 40-50 tuples). I would like to display the results 5 at a time on an HTML page using PHP. I already managed to have the right SELECT statement, but i am having problems to display the results 5 by 5 using a "more" button. Can you please help? Note that every time i call the query, the data is being randomized, so it is not possible to set limits and call the query again. I have to find the method to store the results somewhere, and then show them 5 by 5.

    Hi all I dont know if its a django bug or a feature but i have a strange ORM behaviour with MySQL. class Status(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length = 50) class Article(models.Model) status = models.ForeignKey(status, blank = True, null=True) filters = Q(status__in =[0, 1,2] ) | Q(status=None) items = Article.objects.filter(filters) this returns Article items but some have other status than requested [0,1,2,None] looking at the sql query : SELECT [..] FROM `app_article` LEFT OUTER JOIN `app_status` ON (`app_article`.`status_id` = `app_status`.`id`) WHERE (`app_article`.`status_id` IN (1, 2) OR `app_status`.`id` IS NULL) ORDER BY [...] the OR app_status.id IS NULL part seems to be the cause. if i change it to OR app_article.status_id IS NULL it works correctly.     I have a list of links that all go to a google maps api. the links already have the daddr (destination) parameter in them as static. I am using Geo-Location to find the users position and I want to add the saddr (source address) to the links once I get the data. so basically I will need to add something like &saddr=50.1234567,-50.03452 at the tail end of all the links pointing to google maps All the links have a class called directions-link and from this page I have figured out how to change them: $("a.directions-link").attr("href", "http://www.google.com/"); However I only want to append my value to the end of the href without changing what the href already is. When a person flicks the UIImageView I animate it using: [UIView animateWithDuration:2 delay:0 options:UIViewAnimationOptionCurveEaseOut animations:^{ recognizer.view.center = finalPoint; } What I want is the label5 to display the y value of the imageView during the animation not just after. Is it possible to do this?
