  I have a website www.askvioletnow.com. I added a flash mp3 player that plays a sound clip when you go to the page. I know Flash doesn't work on the iPhone OS, but is there a way to get this type of mp3 player to work on an iPhone? I'm thinking maybe a javascript mp3 player. What I would ultimately want is to replace my flash mp3 player with a different mp3 player and have it so the player is available on Windows and Mac computers as well as iPhone devices. Example (these classes are stored in separate tables): public abstract class Parent { public virtual string Property { get; set; } } public class Child : Parent { } The above query executed with Child as the root type will replace {alias} with the alias to the Child table rather than the Parent table. This results in an invalid column exception. I need to execute a like statement as above where the property exists on the parent table rather than on the root type table.

  Morning, I am inputting data from an XML file into my database, but have any isse with German words (that are in the XML by mistake) For example the word für appears in my XML as für and thus appears the same in my database. I know I could do a simple search/replace for that exact phrase, but I was wondering if there was a smarter way to do it as I can't predict if any other German words may one day appear in the XML?   I'm trying to convert bmp files in a folder to jpg, then delete the old files. The code works fine, except it can't delete the bmp's.   We're in the process of replacing an old (5+ years) Windows service application built with VS2005 that makes an HTTP GET call. There are several things that make this difficult (such as the web server is on the customer's network and we can't connect directly to it) and, unfortunately, we'd prefer not to take down the running system to replace it with a WinForm version that can be monitored by Fiddler. The new code appears to be doing everything correctly, but, alas, it is failing to authenticate. Is there a way to configure Fiddler (2.2.9.1) to intercept HTTP calls from a Windows service?

• correct way to turn EAR module into OSGI bundle

  Greetings to all! There is a necessity to turn part of EAR (namely - war) into OSGI bundle and retain it's interoperability. Glassfish 3.0.1 already has osgi-web-container module and I succeeded to deploy standalone OSGI war. But in case of of ex-enterprise war it looks a bit difficult to me. What do I do with EJB calls from inside future OSGI war? Is it enough to replace @EJB injections with true JNDI lookups? What about APIs and libraries shared across EAR? I could split and rearrange them, but still I will have at least one jar needed by both EAR and OSGI war. Duplicate, make it as OSGI-bundle itself and make it available to ear somehow, place it GF domain's library path? Any other ideas, advices which could make that hybrid working?   hi all, i need to clone an entire treeview to implement Undo\Redo actions. i try in different ways but it appears that directly isn't possible. I mean copying the entire treeview, save that copy in a list. Then when the Undo action is requested decrement a specific counter of levels of undo and replace the actual treeview with the treeview that exist in the index positions of the list. if I do redo the same happens but lvls is incremented so i recover what come next. Every time that a modifications occurs in the treeview i need to save that copy and increment the lvl counter

  This is related to an earlier question. I try to append HTML DOM returned in an AJAX response to an existing DIV. I see all the text, but it seems all markup such as bold, italic, etc is lost. My AJAX (XML) data is like so: <event source="foo"> <contents> <h1>This is an event</h1> This is the body of the event </contents> </event> My jQuery code does this: $("#eventDiv").append( jData.find("contents").contents().clone() ); Attempting to do .html() on the cloned contents throws an exception: TypeError: Cannot call method 'replace' of undefined. I am a little surprised that it is so excruciatingly hard to do this with jQuery. Am I doing something too far off the track?

Add a related_name argument to the definition for 'visitor'. what would be a sensible 'related_field' to use on visitor field? This model basically represents the visits that take place to a particular user's profile. Also should I replace any of the ForeignKey's with a ManyToManyField? The logic is a bit confusing.   Is there a Registry setting that I can look for to determine whether or not the Visual C++ redistributable is installed, whether standalone or as part of Visual Studio 2008? I know that I could launch the VC++ 2008 redistributable installer and let it handle the detection, but it would look cleaner if I can check for it and not bother launching the installer if the redistributable is already on the system. It's no biggie if there is no setting to search for, as this is just for the preliminary installers that we have for the new version of our software. We won't need it for the new Windows Installer-based installers that we are working on that will replace the old tech ones and will use the merge modules.

  I have having difficulties protecting my blackberry application persistent data with ControlledAccess object. According to http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/4.5.0api/net/rim/device/api/system/PersistentObject.html, I need a PersistentObject, CodeSignKey, and ControlledAccess objects to work. I have everything except one piece: CodeSignKey codeSigningKey = CodeSigningKey.get( "ACME" ); here, I don't know what to replace for "ACME". Is this the PIN code I chose as I filled out the Code Sign Key? Is it my package name, output file name? The Blackberry API documentation doesn't seem to say anything about this particularly important parameter. Help please, thanks.

  I'm getting this message multiple times when I try to run my game: The referenced script on this Behaviour is missing For some reason, all my prefabs are missing a script that dictates something called their 'Mono Behaviour': What is the Mono Behaviour component, and what does it do? How can I fix this error? I can click the little target circle to bring up all my scripts, but that just gives me all of the scripts that I've written: So I don't really know how to replace my missing Mono Behaviour script... Maybe if I knew what it was I could have a clue how to fix it. I probably moved something. But how can I select the Mono Behaviour script (whatever it is) if the target just shows me my scripts? Update I've moved some assets in the project window, but not via the OS (Finder/Explorer) so why is this happening? Also I am told that Mono Behaviour is a script I've applied... Don't really get this...isn't the script component a reference to a script?

  The problem is that I want to output Mathematica compatible floating point numbers. The only difference with the standard IOStream or printf output format is that the exponential e is replaced by *^: Standard C/C++ output format: 1.23e-4 Mathematica format: 1.23*^-4 Is there a way to manipulate streams to achieve this effect? My original idea was just to use istringstream and dump it to a string and then replace all the e's. I would also be okay if someone posted code to parse through the bits of the floating point number and output it directly (i.e. a printf("%e") replacement).

  I recently asked a question on switching from C++ to C for writing an interpreter for speed and I got a comment from someone asking why on earth I would switch to C for that. So I found out that I actually don't know why - except that C++ object oriented system has a much higher abstraction and therefore is slower. Why are the interpreters of all popular scripting languages written in C and not in C++? If you want to tell me about some other language where the interpreter for it isn't in C, please replace all occurences of popular scripting languages in this question with Ruby, Python, Perl and PHP.

In short, I'm not sure how to extract by index in django templating.   I have successfully created an iHttpModule to replace my Global.asax file in many Web Forms applications. But in looking at the Global.asax file in my MVC application, the methods are totally different. I'm wondering if it is still possible to create this same thing in an MVC app. I know it's not necessary and the Global.asax works just fine. I suppose I just want to have nothing but the web.config in the root directory of my application. Also, I am putting all of my classes in a separate class library project instead of a folder in my MVC application. Not sure if this makes a difference or not.

  I did some digging in Android code, and saw the use of in the indeterminate progress bar. after trying to create my own drawable with this tag: <animated-rotate xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:drawable="@drawable/spinner_pia" android:pivotX="50%" android:pivotY="50%" android:framesCount="12" android:frameDuration="100" /> I get an error: "No resource identifier found for attribute 'frameDuration' in package 'android'" - which means that frameDuration is a private attribute. Is there a way to use this "animate-rotate" feature? My task is to replace the system's default indeterminate progress bar. I'd like to do it with as little code as possible (just change few attributes if possible). Using the ProgressBar view, setting: android:indeterminateOnly="true" android:indeterminateBehavior="cycle" android:indeterminateDuration="3500" android:indeterminateDrawable="@drawable/pia_sivuvator" and point "@drawable/pia_sivuvator" to that object would've make my task as elegant as they come but I'm stuck on those private attributes. help?
