    Hello: I listen much about new Microsoft terminologies such as WPF, WCF, WWF, ASP.NET MVC, Silverlight, entity framework, LINQ. I would like to see in a visual map: 1) how these products interrelate 2) Which are complements of which. 3) Order of priority to learn I think all the names that I mentioned, together with the use of Visual Studio applies to web developments.   • Scala unsatisfiable cyclic dependency in "table-layout" library (Toolkit class)

    When I try to compile with sbt some code containing an instance of a Table from this library I get this error: java.lang.AssertionError: assertion failed: unsatisfiable cyclic dependency in 'class Toolkit' It seems to work with Java so I don't understand why it fails in Scala. Here is the toolkit class: http://code.google.com/p/table-layout/source/browse/branches/v1/tablelayout/src/com/esotericsoftware/tablelayout/Toolkit.java As long as I get this error I'm totally stopped in my project :(.

  • Is there a simple PHP development server?

    When writing web apps in Python, it brain dead easy to run a development server. Django and Google App Engine both ship with simple servers. The main feature I'm looking for is no configuration. I want something like the GAE dev server where you just pass the directory of the app as a parameter when the server is started. Is there a reason that this is more difficult with PHP?

    Is there a portable C library to access .zip archives? "gzip" or "zlib" (the closest I could find) only handle compressed data, I need to be able to list the files inside the archive, and access each one individually, and if they're compressed using the 'deflate' method, I can use zlib on it.

  • jQuery library to autopopulate multiple fields

    I have multiple textboxes with set character limits that together make up a code. There is value in the boxes being separated for a variety of reasons. I want to be able to paste a complete code in the first textbox and have it automatically populate all the textboxes. Is there a way to do this in javascript or a jquery library for this case? Currently I'm using jQuery autotab on each textbox and I'd prefer to keep that functionality.
