    Question: How can you use the JQuery Auto-Completion plugin to suggest a location ("City, State") for an input field? Meaning, someone wants to type in "Chicago, IL" ... so they begin typing "Chi" and it auto-suggestions "Chicago, IL". My biggest hurdles is finding a service that I can query to find out all US city+state names. I essentially want to do what the StackOverflow "Tags" input form works but form "City, State" auto completion.

    I'm using wx.AUI and having a bit of a problem managing panes. Once you have created a new pane using AddPane(), what is the syntax to update or change the pane? I've seen the SetPane command but I can't find any examples. Can someone direct me to an example? Or perhaps it makes sense to use some command to delete the pane and create a new one? Android is highlighting the links in the TextView, but they do not respond to clicks. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Do I have to set an onClickListener for the TextView in my activity for something as simple as this?

    I've noticed that a lot of projects have the following structure: Project-A bin lib src main java RootLevelPackageClass.java I currently use the following convention (as my projects are 100% java): Project-A bin lib src RootLevelPackageClass.java I'm not currently using Maven but am wondering if this is a Maven convention or not or if there is another reason. Can someone explain why the first version is so popular these days and if I should adopt this new convention or not? Chris

    I would like for someone to explain this to me: function myFunction(array){ array = $.grep(array, function(n,i){return n > 1 }); } var mainArray = [1,2,3]; myFunction(mainArray); document.write(mainArray) // 1,2,3, but i'm expecting 2,3 but if i do something like array[3] = 4; in place of the $.grep line, i get 1,2,3,4. Shouldn't mainArray become the new array created by $.grep?

If I'm going to use Django as a proxy to serve static files in a view, what are the implications? I'm used to serving static files in Apache and configuring that my media is served without any handlers, but what happens if someone starts downloading 500mb through my Django proxy? Will my Django thread be locked for that user until he recieves the 500mb response?

    Hi there, From the Jobeet tutorial provided in Symfony website, I found out that I can load fixtures data each time I run unit test by using this script: Doctrine_Core::loadData(sfConfig::get('sf_test_dir').'/fixtures'); However, I want to delete and reload all records from database each time I run a unit test. Currently, I'm doing this manually (Run symfony doctrine:build --all before each test). Can someone provided me a correct way to do this?

In an agile (Scrum) project on the iSeries platform, which requires development (new code and modifications to legacy code) in RPG, RPG LE, is it possible to implement refactoring?     What are all the file formats supported by UIWebView? In my testing, I found that it supports XLS, DOC, PPT, PDF but not XLSX, and DOCX, RTF. It supports image files like, JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, not sure about TIFF or Exactly, what all types are supported is not clear... The UIWebView documentation also doesn't state it clearly. Could someone please help?

    Can someone please put me out of my misery with this? I'm trying to figure out why a derived operator== never gets called in a loop. To simplify the example, here's my Base and Derived class: class Base { // ... snipped bool operator==( const Base& other ) const { return name_ == other.name_; } }; class Derived : public Base { // ... snipped bool operator==( const Derived& other ) const { return ( static_cast<const Base&>( *this ) == static_cast<const Base&>( other ) ? age_ == other.age_ : false ); }; Now when I instantiate and compare like this ... Derived p1("Sarah", 42); Derived p2("Sarah", 42); bool z = ( p1 == p2 ); ... all is fine. Here the operator== from Derived gets called, but when I loop over a list, comparing items in a list of pointers to Base objects ... list<Base*> coll; coll.push_back( new Base("fred") ); coll.push_back( new Derived("sarah", 42) ); // ... snipped // Get two items from the list. Base& obj1 = **itr; Base& obj2 = **itr2; cout << obj1.asString() << " " << ( ( obj1 == obj2 ) ? "==" : "!=" ) << " " << obj2.asString() << endl; Here asString() (which is virtual and not shown here for brevity) works fine, but obj1 == obj2 always calls the Base operator== even if the two objects are Derived. I know I'm going to kick myself when I find out what's wrong, but if someone could let me down gently it would be much appreciated.
