    Hello all I am having problems with the refresh rate if the screen . In the the refresh mode of the monitor in the monitor options have only one option 60Hz. I have LG 24 + ATI Radon 3870. And already installed the ati driver via ubuntu download centre. Any idea how i solve that one ? Thanks.

I've tried opening it on my roommate's computer, and it works just fine. I'm guessing that it has something to do with my particular browser. I get the same error in both chrome and ie though.

  • Howto monitor traffic between IIS and MSSQL

    Hello @all, i try to check how much traffic flows between MSSQL Server and IIS Server in different Locations. There are 1 ipcop in every Location and i download the tcpdump file from one Firewall and search for DST=ipmssql and SRC=ipIIS but i did not find the ip from the Database Server. But there are traffic between both. Any suggestions why i did not find the IP Adress from the MSSQL Server? Is this an configuration failure in IPCop or is the Traffic between ISS and MSSQL so strange :-) Regards Rene

    64-bit Office installs 64-bit IFilters for its document types, but does not install 32-bit IFilters. Therefore, 32-bit programs that rely on IFilters cannot work with 64-bit Office. And although there is an option to download 32-bit IFilters from Microsoft, the installer will not run on a 64-bit machine, complaining about architecture mismatch. Is there any way to make 32-bit programs extract text from Office documents using IFilters when 64-bit Office is installed? Thanks.

    I tried using the GNU Emacs download, unzipped it and then clicked on emacs.exe, but got some obscure error. Then I tried Cygwin emacs, but when I press ctrl x ctrl c to quit emacs it thinks I pressed ctrl x ctrl "g"!!! I checked all the key mapping and they work otherwise in Emacs. Is there another version of emacs for windows that just works!

    I have a problem with port forwarding with my torrent, port check tool says that it open, the firewall exception as well. But with the test by the client not say so. I don't know why.     Win7 Home Prem 32-bit I am currently using DriverMax to keep my drivers up to date. Sometimes it suggests that a newer driver is available for download but the driver is not digitally signed. Is it safe to update to an unsigned driver or not? What are the implications of signed vs unsigned drivers? I always create a system restore point before updating any drivers anyway and i know i can rollback a driver.

    I need a tool to automatically backup my Drupal installations from my server to my laptop. In other terms, I need to copy 1 folder (all my Drupals are inside this folder) and all databases.
